An important tip is to watch some turorials, aw warthunder is very bad at teaching you things. You'd want to watch 1 or 2, as they mostly contain the same content, so ill give a quick guide: 1 - You should keep your tanks in their lines. This allows for your tank crews to become better at tasks such as driving, reloading, and turret traverse. You have 5 lines, sort diagram: LT MT HT SPAA TD LT = Light tank. Fast, unarmoured. Its symbol on the map is a white line. MT = Medium tank, good armour, good mobility, good firepower. On maps, it is a line with 2 squares on the bottom sides. HT = Heavy Tank, Great armour, good firepower, slow speeds. Map indicator is the medium tank with a rectangke ontop. SPAA = Self-Propelled-Anti-Air, High firerate, low calibre, ysed for shooting down aircraft, but some can effectively fight tanks. TD = Tank destroyer, High firepower with varying speed & armour [This line is extremely importang for BR *battle rating* 4.0-10.0] --- The Different shells: Main 3 types: AP = Armour piercing. Hits and pierces enemy tank, causes spall [spall is small bits of metal from the shell and armour entering the tank when penetrated, dealing more damage.] APHE = Armour Piercing High Explosive, Penetrates armour and then explodes. This should be your main type if possible. HE - High Explosive Explodes ypon contact with armour, killing off any exposed crew [tank rounds that pentrate dont affect HE]. Used for light vehicles. Always carry 3-5. Note: dont carry a lot of shells. Use the Slider in the screen before you spawn to decrease the amount as they can explode in your vehicle. --- These are just the Basics, so yeah. Hopefully you have a good time in this game!

Good luck buddy waamby, each nation has its définition of "doing war", take Italy as an exemple :you get two lines dedicate to light tank/tank destroyer and zéro heavy tanks. Their mediums are like, meh. If you play the game as "a game" you will turn racist. Eventually... But after 8k hours you might gaine back your humanity and just play casually.

As I see you already buy the abrams click-bait. Its not a bad tank. But top tier (at rank 7) Is really hard gameplay. Im level 86 (with some tanks with almosta kill death ratio of 4). And top tier is quite hard. Even for me. The game is fun until like 9.3 After that its quite hard for almost everyone.

Enjoy low tier for now, because later it will become a work out of pain

Good effort . Find your feet in arcade then move to Realistic. Much better. Mimimise the ammo you wanna take by using the slider. That way you won’t be filled with explicable ammo when you’re hit. And train your crew! Benefits are you can shoot and traverse faster to name a few. Good luck.

as a long time player welcome to a game where u are in control of your madness, it can be a very fun game, just take it seriously enough to learn but not serious enough to lose your mind. and above all enjoy the tanks that you have, they all have a story and theyy are all cool. forget the grind and play for the fantastic experience warthunder can deliver

I got in the trade without line school but it shows lol… Anytime I gotta climb I don’t love heights. I don’t care what people say or give you shit about your doing fine lol. I’m on my 2nd year in the apprenticeship and I still don’t like poles over 35 ft lol I have a cousin who’s a foreman to and he doesn’t like heights either so it’s fine lol. It’s just what you’re willing to overcome when it comes to the job you just gotta go and do it. I’ll go up there, do what I need to do then come down I don’t like hanging out lol just focus on what your doing up there and I forget sometimes. You get a little more and more use to it.
