ha, like feeding that cord is sooooo easy....and PRAY you don't have a tilt mechanism, that adds a whole new dynamic, it can be done, with an allen wrench to remove tilt, and coat hanger to try and catch rope to drag through little hole, good luck...

I followed this video a year ago with my crank umbrella. Mine doesn’t have the other hole at the top and i problem solved it last year, but this year I’m having a super senior moment. Ugh! I’ve watched this video maybe 10 times and recruited my family too. Can’t figure out how I managed last year!!!

I have a good canopy (heavy canvas, UV protection, big) that I want to keep--so now I need a frame! I see people selling frames of 9 feet, which is what I need but I have not seen one for a 6-ribbed canopy. That's my canopy: 9 feet (approximately), and 6 ribs, heavy duty canvas. Is there a hack for this situation?

Thanks; I've a cord replace on an umbrella, this has given me the understanding of how the mechanism works....off to get some cord now.

I've fixed my cord twice now. The problem is, it's a tilt umbrella so there is a pushbutton at the upper end of the umbrella. How does the cord get threaded through that click button? There is space to put it through on either side of the button which is what I've done, twice. Low and behold, the cord broke again. I'm getting to be an expert at fixing the string, however, how do I get it to stop from breaking?

I REALLY need help. My pulley system is way different. I can’t find a single video or picture of it anywhere online or on TH-cam. Everyone’s about to put their string in one way and out the other side. Mine isn’t like that. It’s all on the same side. … help!!!!!!!!

Doesn't work if string is pulled through. Pin-out remove lower section and tne put new in.
