Take G 12 EVO not G13 the Fluid was updatet by VW . The G13 causes corrosion.

Thank you for your video! That was quite the performance on replacing timinng belt and water pump. You took out the tension pulley for the V-ribbed belt. What is the torque value you used for tightening the bolt that sits on the tensioner pulley for the V-ribbed belt?

Good video, but why is this happening with the tensioner? I installed new ones two years ago Motive brand, and now after 40000km they're broken just like yours in the video.
Please let me know if you also used the bolt with the vibrochen locking thread. It is inserted on the right side of the engine, behind the starter.

Originally 150k miles or 10 years. But due to numerous failures now recommended to be 50k miles. Expect a bill of £1,100 plus vat once you add oil pump belt and other items. But then an engine replacement could be £8k! Failed design, best to avoid vehicles with this engine. There is a good reason Ford are now heavily discounting these vans in order to sell them, as the major fleets have stopped buying them due to Ford not covering costs of failures. If you have one, make sure service record is 100% to time and mileage and ensure the oil grade is listed on the invoice, as otherwise Ford Warranty will try to claim incorrect oil grade caused the fault.

Ofcourse, car jack or axle support with a rubber under and then remove it engine mount.
@@multiomer1997 does it explain that!
Because if you follow the video you will have a engine fell on the ground.
@@ostberg71 i always recommend doing it, cuz lemme say you remove the mount. first it breaks the screw thread. second the rubber of the transmission mount will always dry faster or break. i know from my experience, in Peugeot's 1.2 Puretech engine you can safely do it, cuz engine weight not that much.
