Bonsai / Hello, Bonsai is absolutely terrible. They charge ridiculous transaction fees and then hold your money up for weeks after the payment has been made. Absolutely infuriating, they have massively screwed up my business. I wish I had known this before signing up with them. I canceled my account with them as soon as I learned about their predatory practices. Literally, any other service would be better than Bonsai. Edit: Also, Bonsai support is practically non-existent. I have never paid so much for a service and not been able to get an actual person on the phone to try to resolve even the most basic issues.

Hi Stefan..I came across you through Erin Booth's video. I loved that session. I had a question..a situation actually..a big German corporation wants a big project submission without any advance and contract in place. They claim previous bad experience with freelancers. Is this a red flag client? I mean it's big money and seems to be a big name company but I hear big warning bells and sirens already. Please advice.

I have been struggling to intergrate google calendar with Bonai, even though it says it can on the website, I tried Zapier and alll I can do is intergrate Quickbooks with Bonsai

Insightful 📝 Bro in my case the lack of clarity & guidance to follow the path of starting freelancing has become a problem as my field of construction design & drafting industry ( Hvac ) there aren't enough mentors to guide & show path specifically as it's not something which is in trend like Information technology sector & many clients prefer people with already 1 or 2 yrs of experience on projects.. what do you think should i be doing in such a situation ? Also pls suggest some best or ur favourite books to know practical tips on online money making as service providers..

Great video, Stefan! I’ve only used twitter to get freelance clients and couldn’t recommend it more - you can find gig postings, build relationships, and most importantly build a brand. Other freelancers see/get offered different types of roles all the time and if you become known for writing website copy for cannabis brands for example, your name will get mentioned whenever a similar opportunity comes up. If you use twitter with intention, it has to be almost impossible *not* to see results 📈
