Kusatsu Onsen: A Must-Visit Hot Spring Destination in Japan
#kusatsu #kusatsuonsen #onsen #japantravel #japantrip #hotspring
Welcome to the wonders of Kusatsu Onsen. Here, more than 32,000 liters of hot spring water gushes out every minute, amounting to about 230,000 drums per day, making it the largest in Japan.
First, we visit Yubatake. The sight of the rising steam is like a living piece of art, leaving you in awe. This place, where the hot spring's minerals are cooled and "yu no hana" (hot spring flowers) are harvested, is the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen.
Next, we head to Netsu-no-Yu. Here, the "Yumomi Show" takes place. The sound of the stirring water and the accompanying dance to the "Yumomi Song" captivate the audience. This traditional method of cooling the hot spring water to a suitable temperature feels like a step back in time.
Furthermore, at the Sainokawara Open-Air Bath, you can relax in the expansive outdoor baths surrounded by nature. The serene environment and the warmth of the hot springs soothe your soul.
Finally, returning to Yubatake at night, the illuminated scenery creates a fantastical atmosphere, making you feel as if you are in a dream.
Through this video, you can fully experience the beauty and history of Kusatsu Onsen, allowing you to appreciate its charm even from afar.

The commentary voiceover is only coming from the left headphone. You should fix that
