Accuphase for me!

Questi video comparativi per far capire come suona un ampli o un altro, mi fanno sorridere, sono assolutamente inutili!!

If the comparison set up is what is in the picture how the room is that is horrible. I own the Sonus Faber Adia 2's in Wenge finish and they sound nothing like this. They sound like pure heaven in the right room, with the right set up, and the proper power given to them. My dealer uses lasers to calculate distance, angle, height, etc. for best sound and stage setting up a room. Tweeters should not sound harsh like this. When you have room treatments the tweeter should blend in nicely with the music as the sounds panels on the walls absorb any harsh reflections. When you clap your hands you should not hear an echo in a room. You can also have a room that is too dead and over sound proofed. There is an art and science to dialing in a room and the gear. Sonus Faber speakers and Mcintosh amps tends to be a good combo. I personally feel that VAC is better. It's the difference between a Corvette and Ferrari. I have 2 452 VAC IQ musicblocks one to each speaker. Vivaldi DCS APEX stack. It's pretty much my forever system. Had various systems last 30 years and love the one I have now.

Diffusori con timbrica agli antipodi, per mio gusto scegliere senza esitazione sf, più musicali ,dolci ,morbide, b&w più aperte ma anche freddine ,squillanti. Cmq sempre questione di gusti e abbinamento corretto con le elettroniche

As an owner of Sonus Faber Sonetto speakers, I can assure you that they are excellent. Like all speakers, the sound depends a lot on which amplifier you have. I spent literally four hours at my local dealership testing various speaker and amplifier combinations before deciding on the Sonetto. The Sonetto range, in my opinion, sounded best with class A B amps. You won't get the thumping bass that some other speakers can achieve, but what you do get is a great sound stage and extraordinary subtlety and detail in the sound that they produce. Having said that, you will find in a modest size room that you most likely will not require a subwoofer. Happy hunting.

This does not even sound like speakers playing a song. The sound literally doesn't change at all but when you get off-axis on the speaker, there's a huge suckout at the crossover just like all 2-way speakers. The sound doesn't change at all when you're moving. Is the mic stationary somewhere in the room?

Chi parla di B& W come accetta beh non le ha mai ascoltate dal vivo .. Ho delle dynaudio delle b&w e delle Ar . Dire che b&w non hanno bassi beh 😂 è un'assurdita . Ascoltatele dal vivo altro che ... Sulle SF invece direi che la coperta è una espressione azzeccata .. mi aspettavo di più ma è da prendere tutto con le pinze .

Ma solo io trovo il suono del Mcintosh piu' equilibrato e realsitico?

zu ihrer zeit waren die schon ein hammer,mal abgesehen von der überragenden power die diese box bereitstellen kann bei entsprechendem verstärker.ich glaube die B&W und die jbl nehmen sich nicht viel,außer das die B&W etwas dunkler abgestimmt ist.so höre ich es zumindest auf kh.

wenn man mal wirklich richtig gute lautsprecher gehört hat ist das hier alles nur noch kalter abgestandener kaffee.reinste zeitverschwendung .wenn ich wählen müßte würde ich die monitor audio nehmen die ganz rechts steht !!

sonus faber sounds like the singer is standing behind the wall..thats typical sound from sonus, thats why I dont like sonus faber at all..their vocals are not clear, no detail in vocals, just warm nothing

B&W sounds garbage. Very bright/harsh sound and no life in vocals i cant stand it in my home.

Non credo sia una comparativa corretta A mio parere, andava utilizzato un lettore accuphase con ampli accuphase. Allora avremmo avuto un corretto ascolto per entrambi, così è falsato

Sapete perche nell ambiente gira la voce che le BeW hanno degli alti strappa orecchi ecc ecc? Perche' hanno capito che non c e trippa per gatti per molti diffusori. Le BeW ti fanno ascoltare le registrazioni come devono essere, il suono e' piacevole, aperto, dettagliato, arioso, senti tutti gli strumenti. Hanno un impatto da studio ma la raffinatezza dell Hi End. Allora per evitare che il puibblico si fossilizzi solo sulle BEW scrivono e millantano stronxate. La musica va scoltata chiara, dettagliata, aperta, ariosa e su questo la BeW w' quasi imbattibile

Very disappointing sound. I own the Focal lab 1028BE and they sound way better in every way. Brighter and deep bass. My amplifier is the Accuphase E-650. I was looking for replacing my Focals for the SF. But listening to them now, i am very disappointed about the sound. So i will keep them then.

Ive owned both of these powered by various amps ML335, Krell FPB350's and pair Mc 462. Supratek dual bi amp tube pre and Mc c2700 . I still have the Sonetto Viii. The B&W's were returned. Demo in person and dont rely on these video's. You are not getting the most important variable "sound imaging"

Accuphase is definitely better for classical music. It is more transparent, better resolution and bigger soundstage

Neither of the two is dynamic and rhythmic, musical in one word. I prefer Plinius, Naim, and Bryston. Have the listener dance.

Il volume del modello attuale è molto più alto.Non prenderei nessuno dei due soprattutto il modello nuovo.Marchio che non mi entusiasma. In questo modo sono ingiudicabili

I prefer the JBL in this video. B&W 801 started out as my "end game, dream speaker" but I've learned that I love the JBL sound and their compression horns. Great video that was very well done and shows the sound "in the room". Thank you!

She sounds natural on the SF and congested on the B & W; more real more present more like live with the SF and sounding reproduced on the B&W; wow big differences; thank you for doing this comparison

E5000 sounds more open and without blanket in speakers. Sounds better

The way the tannoy and the Accuphase are voiced is why they don't work well together for my taste. The wave guide in the tannoy and the the accuphase mid band tends to over work the delivery. I like both independently of each other and it's important to match components correctly in audio systems to create positive synergy I really like the look and sound of Accuphase amplifiers and have heard them making very engaging music with other speakers.
