Hey, i see you’re weaving quite a bit in your defense. Blocking and reactive moves are against the rules, keep it to one move and stick to that line

A couple things I’ve noticed. 1. You occasionally dip below full throttle on the straights which is costing you a bit of time. 2. Since the F4 car doesn’t have that much power, you can punch it out of corners harder than you think.

Nice video. Music in background kinda kills it for me. I like hearing what the car is doing from tire sounds.

The driving standards in F4 are so bad. You did well to avoid most of it.

Don’t recommend weaving as an adequate defence plan, especially in or near braking zones, just begging for trouble and it’s just slowing you down because you’re adding distance to your lap on top of mirror watching, which also slows you down. Learn to better position your car into and out of corners so you don’t have to weave and ensure a good corner exit to maximise straight-line speed, so you won’t need to weave other than your one movement you’re allowed to defend your position in the braking zone.

Your Force Feedback is also in the Red a lot, are you getting any clipping?

You should look at your throttle, as you are flickering below 100% on the straights and basically you are loosing laptime all the time. Make sure you are truly pinned to the max! Might be hardware or software, you need to troubleshoot.

Seen lots of passing/improving position under yellow this week, and yet iRacing is dynamite on track limits.... The irony is not missed.

3:50 that's not "aggressive defending", that's a prime example of blocking. 100% prostest-worthy

man, just a tip, clean your pedals, your pedals are glitching a lot, you can see during the video, the miss press or depress of the pedals

Loving watching this, but I reckon you should do some more practice and use a lot more of the track especially on the exits. And learn where the track limits are

People use iracing because of the realism. Like the realistic big green dotted line.

since i am racing the f4 at the moment aswell i often find myself in the same situation as you with a faster car behind and i always do mistakes i think its because i look to much into the mirror. i noticed the same mistakes in your video so i think you are looking to much into your mirror

Just watched all of your videos through. Great stuff you really have a talent for making videos. I can definately see your racing IQ increasing too. I tried the F4 for the first time the other day and got a DQ haha. It's a lot differerent to the Vee. I'm trying to get my IRating back up to 2k, it's taking a while. I feel as soon as anyone gets to 2k they have a massive dip. Anyway good luck I hope to see you in a race sometime!

What’s the point of defending your position early/mid race? You are losing time off cars in front you’ll never claw back. A faster car will eventually make it through if they have enough laps to do it

You also don't need the thing in the middle to tell you where the other cars are since the radio man will tell you

Love this series, we need more like this! That car that kept swerving on the straight was acting illegally. On a straight, you are only allowed to make one defensive move off the racing line. Swerving back and forth is seen as unsportsmanlike and ultimately unsafe.

The car defending at like 3:50 was doing illegal defending I am like 99.99% sure lol.

Unlucky you got a slow down but you could have used the upcoming chicane to serve it. That way you could have avoided giving up 3rd. Just some constructive feedback mate. Sorry about that unfortunate last lap.

Good race. You can push the limits a lot more on the exits. Use the run-off more. And work on those rejoins. Lucky you finished the race at all with that rejoin at the end.
