So today I thought rather than sitting indoors talking about how the Sony ZV-1 is a great vlog camera, I thought I'd just go outside and show you. I'm hoping you find it a lot more helpful than just listening to someone talk about the facts and figures. So I took the Sony ZV-1 out to a nice location and shot a real-world vlog so you can see what this thing is really like to use as an everyday camera (spoiler alert... I love this thing!)

ZV1 is sharper but, Canon is much stable
There Is an update, 1.3 I think it was called. In another video it was Great result! Of the autofocus for example.

Could you do an update for ideal vlogging settings for indoor London weather? I’ve got one and find the colouring is off for me even with auto settings. I’m so confused bc everyone’s vlogs with the zv1 look so good but mine makes me look like a gargoyle

Sony ZV1 > auto focus G7Xiii > stabilization
ZV af is on point,all the time. Canon af is drifting too much,but colors and stabilisation is better. ZV looks shaky

Can I use my Fujifilm lenses with these Canon?
Both the Canon G7X Mark III and the Sony ZV-1 are fixed lens cameras, you cant change the lens on them.
Which one of these can record for more than 30 minutes?
Neither of them, both are limited to 29 minutes and 59 seconds.
Since you carried both of them for a long time, which one is actually lighter :)
Great question, especially if you are going to be vlogging all the time it is a very important point! They are very similar in terms of weight, but Sony is a couple of grams lighter.

While I love the Canon G7X Mark III, in this scenario I have to agree with you, I think Sony did a better job at vlogging too!
I recon the canon has a better stabilisation over the Sony but the Sony has the better auto focus, quality
Are you kidding me? Canon is clearly so much better at stabilization but i'll give you that Sony produces a better/sharper video.
I was shooting at 4K but it ends abruptly, why is this???
The G7X Mark III can shoot continuously in 4K for 10 minutes only, this is to prevent overheating. Thanks for watching the video!

It can shoot in both, you can select which one to use in the settings.
Any capacity limit regarding the SD card?
No, this camera will accept any capacity of SD cards. Make sure you are getting a UHS-I card, though.
Is this camera UHS - II capable? Can I use my UHS II cards with this?
The G7X Mark III is only UHS-I capable, I am afraid. You can still use your UHS-II cards with this, but you will not see any benefit of the UHS-II protocol as it will revert back to the UHS-I protocol.

Hmm, that is a tough call. The Mark IIIs focus is significantly faster, it can shoot at 4K and is able to shoot at higher FPS. So my answer would be: it depends. If you shoot a lot of video with this, and shooting at 4K is very important for you, then go for it. If not, the Mark II should be enough for now. Hope I was able to make things clear for you!

Well, if you have some laser cutting tools lying around that would be possible! All joking aside, this camera has a fixed lens - you cant use any other lens apart from the one that on the camera!

No, I am afraid not. 60 FPS is as far as this camera goes. Hope this helps!

Is it really true that this camera cant shoot at 24 FPS?
Great question, this is a pretty common thing thats asked a lot so I am really glad I am going to clear this up! While initially, when this camera was released it was not able to shoot at 24 FPS, this was fixed later on with a firmware update. Now it can shoot with 24 FPS at 1080p or 4K. Hope I was able to clear things up!
This was my first vlogging camera and i loveddddd it! Now i'm using the canon m50 with 10-18mm wide angle lens. I'm thinking about getting this camera again to vlog bc its compact than this m50 😍
