    Thanks for highlighting Detroit on your site, but it is really disappointing (and probably confusing to those from other cities) because you interspersed scenes that are NOT of Detroit right in the middle of your commentary about Detroit. Looks like you just grabbed photos from other sites and assumed no one would notice. There were plenty of views that you missed that could have taken the place of those “stand-ins”. You must have been thinking that every American city looks the same and a city street looks the same anywhere.

If you would have been a slave for all your life, and 500 years later people would have said "We can always do better"(?), you would think that people are lacking empathy and compasion -like you now. Hahahaha.. the level of ignorance in these videos is incredible. Just open a book and read about it. They had servants. These servants were people who OWED MONEY to someone and that 'someone' would offer them to a person to work as a servant (doing household chores or garden stuff) until the debt was paid off. The servant could later remain as a FREE person working for that house, or move on to other things in life.

    • @ShastaOrange
      @ShastaOrange 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When the indentured servants couldn't meet their labor demands, they began buying slaves from slave traders who obtained them from village raids in foreign lands. This is all very well documented. It's creepy how people always try to bargain down evil to something more palatable.

    • @nathankunz13
      @nathankunz13 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not for the major work. What your talking about amounts to having some one mow your lawn for your debt. But real slavery was very present there.

    • @ShastaOrange
      @ShastaOrange 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      "Slaves were acquired as war captives, piracy victims, and by purchase from slave traders, who took slaves from local raids; however, no specific race was targeted" There. How hard was that? There was literally a Greek god of slavery. Why are you trying to minimize this?

    The chambers first were opened and then eventually the tomb itself behind the wall. Breaching the tomb where the Pharaoh's mortal remains laid in state would have been what any curses or ancient spells would especially try to prevent. Lord Carnarvon and several others died before the tomb itself was even opened. They died after the chambers were breached but before Tut's tomb was breached. The first thing to occur was a cobra, the symbol of pharaonic power, breaching the dwelling of Howard Carter and subsequently devouring his pet canary. The Egyptian housekeeper thought it was a supernatural warning against breaching any further the pharaoh's resting place.
