      Ai incercat sa cauti "smooth running" in ISTA? Imi pare rau dar nu stiu ce scenarii de "test" sunt disponibile pentru benzinare. Intuitia imi spune ca daca suspectezi probleme cu injectoarele la benzinare, cel mai probabil nu sunt ele cauza problemelor. E doar o parere...

      @@Adrian.Oltean Smooth running este valabil doar pe motoarele diesel.Eu am un motor B48 ,benzina si dupa cold start turatia sta undeva pe la 700-750rpm si are un mic tremurat.Dupa se se încălzește turatia sta undeva la 900rpm si numai tremura.Am schimbat bujii,bobine,ambreaj cu volanta noua ,suporti noi ,totul pe original,dar nimic.Motorul merge rotund,turometru nu oscilează si evacuarea merge normal.Am 0 erori in Ista.Multumesc mult de rapsuns 🙏🏻

      I'd say the value indicates something is wrong - injectors or compression...

      Could be wrong but believe you’re only supposed to test when cold. Maybe try that and check values again

    Salut! Pentru cei care dorim doar sa verificam injectoarele, fara a scrie unul nou, trebuie sa sarim peste primul pas? Adica se poate merge direct la "smooth running control" fara a face acel pas, cu identificarea injectoarelor?!

    I ran this test and Ista suggested to replace cylinder 4. So i assume swap injector 4?

      Yes and no at the same time... I guess that is the injector with the highest correction rate. You can replace the injector and see if that helps but usually, in such cases, it's not only a single injector that's faulty. Other injectors contribute to a high correction rate seen on the assumed faulty injector. Take all of them off and test them on a specialized test bench.

      The most reliable procedure is to take them off and test them on a specialized test bench. ISTA gives you an indication that one or more injectors might not function properly (i.e. deviate from designed injection flows). If you see correction values that are not in the [-1:1] interval, at least one injector might require attention. It's very difficult to tell which one though. Compression issues also affect correction values, making it more difficult to identify the faulty injector(s).

      I guess so... The extra fuel added by the leaking injector will have to be compensated by the other injector(s), so you should see these corrections in ISTA. But I don't think you'll be able to tell which injector is the problematic one. The most accurate diagnostic would be given by a test on a Bosch test bench.

    o intrebare scurta , 530d din 2004 cu 4166 dpf flow resistance too low stocat , am facut testu asta si am valori la relanti highest 0.0mbar - max 65mbar , 2000rpm am high 1.9mbar - max 150mbar si la 4000 high 0.9 - max 250mbar , imi traduci tu te rog ?:))

      Salut. Valorile mentionate de tine nu par in regula, in sensul ca sunt foarte mici. Este ca si cum nu ar exista fizic DPF. Mai are asa ceva masina? Daca inca e prezent (si miezul), cel mai probabil trebuie schimbat senzorul (sau senzorii) de presiune. Nu stiu cum e la E60-ul tau.

      Not sure... Could be an incorrect ISTA installation. Also, make sure you perform a full vehicle test before trying to access the CBS reset functions. I'd also try with the engine running.

    How quick does your soot rise? I recently got an E70 30d with the M57, it had 18g of soot, took it on the motorway and it went to 0g of soot and regeneration not requested, brilliant. Then, the bloody soot went back upto 20g+ in a matter of minutes! I came back home with more soot than I left with lol.

      Hey! I've never monitored very closely (right before regen and/or right after regen) the value of the soot... However, I (empirically) concluded that the regeneration starts at about 35-40g of soot in my case. That soot quantity is reached in aprox. 400-450km but it depends on the driving style. In your case, I think the soot quantity is so volatile because of a bad sensor. I'm tempted to say that the value is simply estimated based on the DPF's backpressure sensor but I'm not sure. Maybe the M57 has some other way of computing that value...

    14g of soot 92km after last regen. What was the amount of soot right after the regen?

      To be honest, I don't know. I don't remember ever checking this right after regen. I also think this is just an estimation based on what backpressure sensor outputs (but not 100% sure though). So the state of the sensor is also important.

      Salut! Parerea mea este ca nu ai instalat corect si complet aplicatia. La versiunile mai noi nu stiu cum e dar la ce am vazut pana acum vreo 2 ani, era un pachet de baza (aplicatia propriu-zisa) peste care se punea un fel de "baza de date". Din ce stiu eu, acea baza de date contine de fapt cam tot ce vezi in ISTA. Deci daca nu ai instalat corect partea asta sau baza de date e incompatibila cu aplicatia principala, probabil se ajunge la ce descrii tu...

    Salut! Am si eu o problema. Masina (bmw 320d e90 m47 '06) imi consuma 12 in oras si altii zic ca le consuma 7-8-9. Masina nu are erori , are reviziile la timp facute , injectoarele reconditionate acum 1000km si multe alte piese schimbate. Inainte sa reconditionez injectoarele imi consuma foarte mult , zici ca mergeam cu tirul. Dupa ce le-am reconditionat mi-a scazut consumu la 12. Si injectoarele au valori mari. Cylinder 1: -0.5 Cylinder 2: +1.5 Cylinder 3: -1.1 Cylinder 4: 0.2 Am dat 26 milioane sa imi reconditionez injectoarele si au valori mari si inca consuma mult. Ce as mai putea verifica?

      In primul rand, reconditionat nu inseamna si nou... Intr-adevar, in cazul tau, unele compensari sunt mari si s-ar putea sa nu fie foarte reusita reconditionarea. In afara de consum (presupus) cam mare, sunt alt simptome care sa indice probleme cu injectoarele? Strict referitor la consumul de 12, nu stiu in ce oras circuli dar nu cred ca-i atat de mare. Depinde si cat de grea e talpa ta comparativ cu a celor care vad consumuri de 7-8-9 (desi am ceva dubii ca au asa consum). Personal, am vazut la mine consume de 18, pe un drum de 7 km facut intr-o ora...

      @@Adrian.Oltean pe banc injectoarele au valori de fabrica. Mașina nu are alte erori pe diagnoza. Și eu conduc încet , nu sunt agresiv. Mai ales dimineața când merg e liber. Ce am văzut la ea ca dacă resetez consumul și merg puțin cu ea și ma opresc pe loc Imi creste foarte mult consumul. Mi se pare ciudat ca dacă o las pornita pe loc sa Imi crească consumul peste 20 deși acul de consum instant Imi arată 2.

      Salut! Cu placere! Din pacate, nu am niciun video cu modul de dezactivare pentru start/stop. Eu am facut asta (si alte codari minore) cu E-Sys dar cel mai probabil se poate si cu ISTA/P (nu ma pricep). Cred ca gasesti cate ceva si pe youtube totusi. Insa trebuie avut mare grija cu E-Sys pentru ca se pot strica multe lucruri din neatentie... 😉

      Hi! I don’t think that can be directly accomplished only with ISTA. You’ll need special tools/kit for doing that and it is not very straight-forward operation…

      Salut! Fiecare injector iese din fabrica cu o anumita deviatie/eroare de la cantitatea de injectia ideala ce poate fi livrata de acesta. Deviatia respectiva este identificata de ECU folosind acel cod si astfel stie sa compenseze cu mai multa sau mai putina motorina. Daca nu codezi noul injector, e foarte posibil ca ECU sa nu stie sa dicteze corect cantitatea de motorina necesara iar asta se poate traduce prin mers neregulat, vibratii, fum si altele probabil. Asta e intelegerea mea.

      Salut! Sigur nu au fost logate erorile fix dupa eliminarea DPF-ului? Verifica numarul de km la care au fost logate. Nu sunt specialist si nici nu stiu cum se programeaza ECU in cazul DPF off dar in cazuri de genul asta imi suna a (1) programare initiala incorecta, sau (2) vreun update de soft care a sters programarea facuta pentru DPF off.

      Sorry... I don't know. It sounds like a programming operation. And if I'm right, you won't be able to achieve this with ISTA+.

O intrebare , stupida zic eu, cand lucrez in ISTA fie ca resetez intervalele sau ca servisez si pun frana electrica pe off ca sa schimba placutele de frana sau chiar pentru un schimb de filtru de motorina in care trebuie sa dau apoi prime fuel pump, pentru toate astea trebuie sa fie masina in prima sau a doua cheie cand o conectez la laptop prin ISTA?? Adica pornesc motorul de tot sau doar apas o data pe start, sau pur si simplu conectez firul si nu apas deloc pe start/stop!!??? Cum e in mod normal? Are vreo importanta

      Salut! Pentru operatiunile ce necesita motor pornit, ISTA va avea grija sa te anunte ca e nevoie de lucrul asta. Deci intuitia mea (de amator) spune ca e de ajuns sa pui contactul si sa te conectezi cu ISTA. Fara contact pus, am impresia ca ISTA nici macar nu descopera masina (i.e. subsistemul pentru diagnoza). E irelevant momentul in care conectezi cablul. Spor!

    My back pressure readings are 755.6. I tried new sensor, unplug the hose from DPF and nothing changes. Any ideas? Tnx

      Sorry for the late reply... Not sure what to say regarding your problem. That low pressure value is even lower than the atmospheric pressure. So even unplugging the hose should not induce that value. If it's not something broken on the sensor side or on the measurement/diagnostic circuit side, I don't know how to explain that value. Moreover, if it's a constant value you're seeing, it makes me think about a circuitry issue. I'm sorry I can't help with more suggestions on this...

      @@igor1983kt I have no idea how the sensors behave when DPF is removed. I'm just a DIY ISTA amateur. ;) Anyway, DPF removed and an incorrect removal from a software point of view, could be the explanation for the value you're seeing.

    Salut ! Am și eu o mică problema cu un seria 3 n47 2009. Am observat ca dpf-ul se regenerează cam des, dacă merg mai “sport” cu ea începe regenerarea… am verificat valori la dpf și la relantiu am după fiecare regenerare am 1-2 mlbr chiar și 0. Am verificat injectoarele si valorile sunt bune, pe diagnoza nu am nici o eroare. In momentul de fata ultima regenerare a avut-o acum 80 km si am undeva la 10-12 mlbr destul de ok. Dacă merg băbește cu ea se regenerează odată la 200 km, dacă merg mai “ sportiv “ se regenerează imediat.. vreau sa Menționez ca nu merg in oraș. Mulțumesc !

      Salut! Cel mai probabil e pe duca DPF-ul tau. Nu stiu cati km are masina dar regenerari la 100-200 km inseamna DPF obosit. Banuiesc ca si toba e afumata. Mai tind sa cred ca nici senzorul care masoara presiunea nu e chiar in mintile lui. Ar merita sa il verifici/schimbi. Probabil vei ajunge sa duci DPF-ul la curatat dupa ce vei constata ca e plin iar senzorul minte in momentul de fata. ;) Ar mai fi posibilitatea sa ai injectoare/pompa/turbina care dau cu prea mult fum in DPF. Ar trebui verificate si astea.

      @@Adrian.Oltean injectoarele au valori bune, turbo recondiționat. Am dat comanda de senzorul de presiune pe original. Mi-am dat seama ca atunci ca motorul este rece și vreau sa Masor mlbr îmi arată 0 pana ma deplasez de pe loc cu mașina. Așa ca m-am hotărât sa îl schimb pe original, doar când merg sport cu ea începe regenerarea.

      Salut. Probabil nu e instalat corect ISTA. Exista si posibilitatea ca bazele de date sa fie incorecte sau incompatibile cu versiunea ta de ISTA. Asta suspectez eu. Eventual incearca sa reinstalezi si sa te asiguri ca toti pasii din acele "readme"-uri ii urmaresti cat mai precis. Bafta!

    Salut, am un ISTA-D 4.01.22 si la Vehicle management/Service function am doar primele 3 optiuni fara acel + din fata (vezi minutul 2.06). Unde e problema? Mersi

      Salut! Pare ca ai o versiune foarte veche. Vad trei posibile cauze: (1) bazele de date (pe care cel mai probabil le-ai copiat-o tot tu) nu contin acele "operatiuni" (sa le numim asa generic), (2) bazele de date sunt incompatibile cu versiunea ta de ISTA, (3) poate e in alt loc ceea ce cauti si ar merita sa folosesti Search-ul din ISTA. Bafta!

    E61, Imi aparea front brake pads service dupa nr de km, am dat reset cbs, acum imi apare ca-s uzate (citeste senzorul ca-s uzate) si eroare pe DSC. Placutele mai au 1cm. Trebuie sa le schimb, cu tot cu senzor asa-i?

      Cel mai probabil, trebuie schimbate - placute si senzor. Pe urma reset la service interval iarasi. Nu stiu ce sa zic despre eroarea referitoare la DSC...

    Salut. Am o curiozitate. Eu mi-am schimbat motorul (m47) ca mi l-a omorat o clapeta (cunoscatorii stiu). Cel nou a venit cu propriile injectoare. Cand incerc sa bag valorile in ISTA, la pasul de salvare, imi zice la toate "Not OK" si nu le salveaza. Am verificat de 10 ori, am luat codurile de 7 caractere corect de pe injectoare. Ai idee care ar fi problema?

      Ouch... Nu-mi aduce aminte de clapete. Am curatat galeria si nu le-am schimbat, desi aveau joc maricel pe tija aia. Referitor la problema ta, pot doar sa imi dau cu parerea. Recomandari: 1. Incearca sa le codezi si cu motorul pornit. Banuiesc ca le-ai codat cu contactul pus pana acum, corect? 2. Esti sigur ca sunt 7 caractere la tine? La mine erau 6. Verifica si sa nu existe cumva mai multe seturi de astfel de caractere iar tu sa folosesti setul incorect. 3. Dupa ce scrii noile coduri, deconecteaza totul si lasa masina sa intre in "sleep" (dupa vreo 15-20 min. cred). Verifica pe urma daca s-a schimbat ceva.

      @@Adrian.Oltean Merci mult pentru sfaturi! Da, am incercat doar cu contactul pus si motorul oprit. O sa incerc si cu motorul pornit. Cat despre coduri, da, am vazut si in ISTA ca sunt 2 tipuri de injectoare, unul cu 6 caractere si unul cu 7. Eu am cu 7, dar o sa mai arunc o privire. Si iar, merci de raspuns! Nu ma asteptam sa raspunzi asa repede :)

      Salut! Imi pare rau dar nu stiu sa iti raspund. Fiind un simplu "amator" de DIY-uri, nu am ajuns sa fac lucruri atat de complicate. Probabil ai sanse sa gasesti raspuns (sau macar sa te ghideze cineva in directia corecta) pe unul din forum-urile dedicate BMW. Bafta!

      Hey! You should find that string near the manufacturer code (Bosch?), on the head of the injector. But not sure if the petrol injectors follow the same pattern as diesel injectors. I suspect they do. Cheers!

    mersi mult ai un like si subscribed de la mine !!!! dar is nou pe aici si ma intereseaza cum a-si putea sa fac si eu rost de programul asta, chiar si cumparat sa fie, ca am un bmw x1 2019 xdrive18d si a-si vrea sa pot sa fac chestiile de baza la el nimic complica, imi place surubareala, gen resetare placute, ulei, etc, faza e ca m-am tot interesat si ar trebui, ptr placutele din spate, din cauza franei de mana automate, sa pun in parking brake service mode, ca sa nu stric motorasul electric cand dau acel piston in spate sa montez placutele.... am vazut tot felul de idei pe net, sa desfac motorasul si sa il insurubez manual la loc, cu toate ca bmw nu recomanda asta, si am zis hai sa imi iau ista si un cablu, dar nu stiu de unde sa cumpar nici tipul de ista si nici tipul de cablu de care am nev ptr masina mea, ma poti ajuta te rog :(??

      Salut! Strict vorbind despre schimbul de placute si acel motoras/piston, poti face treaba foarte bine fara ISTA. Eu asa am facut si nu s-a stricat nimic. Dar daca vrei sa faci "ca la carte", atunci folosesti ISTA. E alegerea ta. Referitor la obtinut/instalat/configurat ISTA, intra pe forum-ul BMW club (www.bmwclub.ro/forums/forum/32-audiovideonavigatieelectronica-auto/). O sa gasesti acolo destule informatii. Eu de acolo am inceput. Bafta!

    sal , la testarea injectoarelor cilindrul 3 avea valori de +4,+5 , celelalte erau cu minus, dupa schimbarea injectorului valorile cu + au aparut la injectorul de pe cilindrul 2 ! la testarera cu ista i-mi apare cod eroare 247500,247600,248600 , masina(f10, 520, n47) , usoare pe loc trepideaza, iar la accelerari mai puternice in mers intra in limp mode moment in care apar erorile ! Am curatat injectoarele la ultrasunete , am schimbat filtru motorina , modulul pompa rezervor .... ce as mai putea verifica\schimba ?

      Salut! Eu nu sunt specialist, doar pot sa imi dau cu parerea. Cateva comentarii: 1. Compensari de genul ala ma duc cu gandul la injectoare defecte. In astfel de cazuri, nicio curatare nu le repara. Trebuie inlocuite sau reconditionate. Neaparat trebuie testate pe un banc Bosch. 2. Compensari mari pot aparea si la probleme mai grave, de exemplu probleme cu compresia. Ca sa elimini presupuneri de genul asta, testezi injectoarele prima data. 3. Erorile indica spre pompa de motorina. Ori chiar pompa e defecta, ori vreun senzor sau alta componenta care da informatii aiurea pompei. Ai span in injectoare? Trebuie verificat tot sistemul - de la rezervor la injectoare. 4. Verifica DPF-ul. Sa nu cumva sa fie pe duca si sa afecteze functionarea pompei/injectiei de motorina. 5. Ai cumva soft custom pe DDE-ul curent? Daca e facut prost, ar putea fi si asta o cauza. Incearca sa revii la soft-ul original daca esti in situatia asta. Din pacate, cu mai multe informatii nu am cum sa te ajut. Bafta!

    Salut!Daca am valori de 1,2/ 0,7/-0,2/-1,7 trebuie verificate injectoarelor pe banc?Masina merge bine,doar puțin zgomotoasă și vibrații puțin mai mari in comparație cu alt model inclusiv regenerări ale DPF mai dese 150-200km.Mersi!

      Salut! Strict vorbind de acele corectii ale injectoarelor si daca nu as remarca nimic suspect in functionarea motorului, eu probabil nu m-as atinge de nimic. Dar... Daca spui ca regenerarile se fac la 150-200 km, asta nu suna prea bine. Ori e plin DPF-ul si trebuie schimbat sau incercat o curatare, ori ceva (injectoare, pompa, turbina, admisie, galerie, EGR, ceva senzori) nu e in parametri si da cu prea mult fum in DPF, ducand la regenerari atat de dese. Bafta!

      @@robsin4557 Trebuie doar schimbate saibele la montaj. Altceva nu mai e de facut. Ar mai fi de mentionat ca daca nu au fost demontate niciodata, e posibil sa te chinui sa le demontezi.

    Salut, eu aveam injectorul 2(daca se numara de la radiator spre distribuție n47) care avea dimineața +4-5(mort la rece) dupa care isi dadea drumul, l am schimbat cu unul din dezmembrări si nu l-am codat..acum are - 1.9 la rece, e posibil dupa ce il scriu sa se miceasca valoarea? Iar codul acela de 7 caractere este cel de lângă codul de piesa?

      Salut. E posibil sa se mai diminueze valoarea dupa codare. Fiecare injector iese din fabrica cu anumite tolerante/deviatii - deci nu e perfect. Referitor la valoare, e posibil ca injectorul sa fie foarte bun dar sa fie nevoie de compensare din cauza altor injectoare mai obosite. Codul il gasesti pe capul injectorului si parca e pe aceeasi linie cu codul de piesa Bosch.

      Salut. Cauta "air-mass" si "exhaust-gas" in ISTA si ar trebui sa gasesti scenariile de test. La un moment dat tin minte ca am facut ceva din testele alea. Nu e complicat de facut un test. Problema e cu interpretarea rezultatelor. ;) Strict referitor la erorile tale, suna a problema cu EGR sau EGR cooler. Verifica sa nu fie blocate/imbacsite sau racitorul spart. Alte sfaturi nu am. Bafta!

      @@Adrian.Oltean Salut Adrian, mersi pentru raspunsuri. Am sters erorile si de atunci am mai facut niste drumuri cu masina si din fericire nu au mai aparut. Am verificat racitorul , furtunele vizual, par a fi in regula. Masina nu a fost inclusa in problema aceea legata de racitorul de gaze (recall) - motor n47, 2012. O sa fac si testele acelea , am frunzarit cateva ore prin ista+ , si le-am gasit.
