This is where I will post some videos that may help Physics and Astronomy students.
Eventually, it will help them with Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, Statics, Dynamics, and Math (arithmetic, fractions, decimals, percents, signed numbers, pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, group theory, tensor calculus).

Thank you for posting the videos!! Super helpful :-)
You're welcome! I am glad they helped.
nice lecture, can you make one one ray optics?
I will be doing one this semester. Stay tuned! Also, I am pretty sure I did one already; let me check.

Didn't we abandon Newtonian gravitation and adopt and whole new way of thinking about science 130 years ago?
Sort of. It turns out that Newton's Law of gravity gets results that are often pretty close to those of General Relativity AND a lot easier (usually) to calculate. Therefore, Newton's Law of Gravity is still useful and very instructive for slowly bringing students into vector calculus.
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions Yes, because no way people would accept Relativity without it.
@@mikeknox7453 There were horrible people (NAZI and Nazi sympathizers) that called Relativity "Jew Science." Luckily, the scientific community knew better.

Cool stuff, first on The Atomic Theory of Matter and Its Consequences. I'm just recommended towards it on youtube, coooooool stream. Can set some videos to private (IF YOU WANT TO) so that some people can access with the link you give them and not others, so, cause, I clicked on this video cause the title was flipping coooooooooooool, and it was recommended to me. Cool stuff. Byue. Liked the video.
I am glad you liked it. Let me know if you have any questions or specific problems you would like solved.
2:28:01 d is in vector notation so in the event it is composed of (x,y) components it’s easy to remember. Otherwise it’ll be a horizontal line or vertical line with x=0 or y=0 respectively. Still, a vector. Just may not need to think of it that way if the p isn’t along an incline😉
59:56 using the F31 = -2.78 x 10^-3 N (in j) yields a final solution of F3 = -0.800 x 10^-3 N (in i) - 2.18 x 10^-3 N (in j)
44:02 -2.78 x 10^-3 N (in j)
Thanks Zach!
We are still using Giancoli; however, it is now in its 5th edition.
Hey Mr Younger. What textbook is this? Are you still using Giancolli? Which edition? Looking for a new physics textbook to practice Physics two alongside watching your videos this summer before I get into Junior year. Thanks-Zac P.S. students watch these videos!!! Mr. Y is the man!
Hey Zach, I am still using Giancoli but now we are using the 5th Edition. I am actually creating my own problems to avoid violating copyright issues.
Students! Take advantage of this and watch these on repeat! This is an entire channel of college level physics FREE. Mr.Y is doing a HUGE service making these available.
Having used math lab before I do agree with the guy at 8 minutes, it's very demoralizing when you get points taken off of your homework, even when you spend a ton of time on the problems. Its such hassle and is such a problem for students.
What a derivation 🌞🌞🌞
What a derivation 🌞🌞🌞
and still you can't see the major problem with your Light clock thought experiment, that destroys it as a method of explaining Relativity? No observer can possibly "see" or record a diagonal trajectory for a Photon or light pulse as you describe. So then you can't derive Gamma as you suggest. So no Time dilation and no length contraction or Mass increase.
Everything you said is wrong.
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions No, its not. I can show you why the Light clock is nonsense, and Einsteins theories are also nonsense. If I say something that is wrong, please explain where I'm wrong.
@@everythingisalllies2141 hi, I am glad you asked the way you did. We can, and have, seen light as it travels. www.good.is/articles/super-fast-camera-works-at-light-speed
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions and you actually believe that nonsense? I bet you believe that elections are not rigged as well.
Unless Billy was in cryostasis for the trip to AC and back, he is the same age as Brian. Motion does not create time-dilation. Only sunlight can. And that is just for plants. Not animals.
Nothing you said is correct. Sorry.
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions get an education in biology.
@@stewiesaidthat it appears that my education in biology is even better than yours, based on you claims here.
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions you don't have a clue. You have no idea how a clock works. Why it runs slow and why that doesn't in the least bit have anything to do with the passage of time. Learn the difference between animal, mineral and vegetable before commenting.
Also, if one has lost ones mind, then one can say that both observers conclusions are correct, at the same time, even though they contradict each other. By "Lost ones mind", I am saying that one accepts an absurd and incomplete explanation, rather than observe the bigger picture and thus see what it is that brings about these contradictions in the first place. Thus one small minded person may say to Fred, "It is your spaceship that in moving, NOT mine. And then Fred, the other small minded person, says, "No George, it is your spaceship that is moving, NOT mine.". Neither of the two is interested in what is really going on. Neither of the two is aware that they are both moving equally, thus of an equal measure of motion, but motion in different directions within the 4D space-time environment. Nope, they would much rather think very small instead.
Why does nobody ever seem to bother to use a simple Motion-Vector / Length-Scalar geometric combo representation of motion. With that, you can derive the SR equations and the Lorentz transformation equations, in mere minutes. Almost no math work at all is required.
@7:30 lecture starts
Thanks! I am assuming you have accurate info. I probably should have checked. He he he
@@BillyYoungerPhysicsSolutions don’t assume anything…it makes an ass of u and me…hehehe
Chapter 31
Hi and thank you for your video. I hope this topic makes sense and you can help. This is what I understand (please allow numerical approximations): 1. Electrons move in a conductor at a speed anywhere near the speed of light. 2. Electrons gain actual velocity (drift) only when supply is ON. Propagation of EM field is about 270.000 km/s. 3. For DC, drift velocity can be calculated. Now, am I right to say that, in AC, actual average velocity is zero? That's because in a PERIOD, electrons move back and forth. I could calculate the drift in half a period, but in a period would be zero. Correct? This means there is no actual transmissions of electrons from source to load, right? Under the assumption above, why we keep talking about "power transmission"? As a matter of fact, there is nothing moving from source to load. Electrons simply move back and forth while performing work. Also, under the considerations above, can anyone explain the concept of "reactive power going back and forth from source to load" in cases where power factor is lesser than 1? Thank you very much in advance!
thanks for this specific example. Helped so much
Glad it helped!
awesome video thanks! only one i could find!!!!! maybe upgrade the camera though lol
Working on it! I started recording to my local computer and I started using a iPad with Good Notes.
Help me urgently
It did or are you were you asking for help?
Or, if you know what motion actually is, you can create a geometric representation of motion that takes place within the 4D environment known a space-time, via the use of motion vectors and length scalars that are locked together, and use this to derive the Lorentz-Fitzgerald Length contraction equation, the Time Dilation equation, the Velocity Addition equation, and the Lorentz Transformation equations, and complete this task in mere minutes.
This was so great! I love how you went through each step. Definitely adding this video to my studio files.
Awesome! Thank you! I hope you and your family are doing well!
