While I can appreciate your assessment of my “Subject matter knowledge” or lack there of… Let me point something out. You said “it would be hassle” but you didn’t say it was impossible. I never said that having a completely wireless system would be simple to design… I simply stated that I would like it to be COMPLETELY wireless… I didn’t say it would be practical. Do I know how speakers work? Yes, I also understand that the energy consumption of a subwoofer is higher than that of a wireless Bluetooth speaker but… It…Is….Not… Impossible. Before electric cars, someone had to believe it was possible… So maybe table your disbelief of an idea that admittedly you believe can work but would be an inconvenience … and consider that there could be a path to a better system. (Or don’t your an adult, and you make your own choices) Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Thanks for watching and sharing! This tablet definitely has easy of use and parental controls at the forefront… It’s not perfect, but comparing it to the iPad’s that I just upgraded my oldest son to, it’s makes selecting age-appropriate content a breeze. I’m sure he will enjoy it!

No, this does not have streaming apps built into it, you may need to pick up a fire stick or equivalent device or stream/Screenshare from a mobile device.

What I can say is, cleaning your mass air flow sensor won’t hurt your situation, and could have a positive effect but without knowing the symptoms or codes that are impacting acceleration… doing this may not be where you want to start your efforts. Usually MAF sensor issues would generate an engine light.

@ so I went ahead and cleaned the MAF and replaced the air filter because it was pretty dirty. The car actually does accelerate a bit better now. But I just had a check engine light come on and lucky me it’s P1778. So step motor malfunction inside the transmission. I’m super excited to see how much that’ll cost me to fix lol

@ Ouch! Upside is, you know have a code that you were able to target for the right solution but that bill probably won’t by pleasant.

Sorry, yes someone else mentioned that also… It’s the ground, you can ground it to any metal surface or screw you have near by.

$50 is a great deal. I just spent over $60 with $25 off. Don't use cooking spray I wasted $12 on spray read after it makes a mess that is extremely difficult to clean.

@willieh762 I use Simple Green to clean it and a wet paper towel to rinse. I toss potato wedges in a bowl with a tiny bit of oil and put them on tin foil. Works great

Yes the sprays definitely can make a mess… and with the glass French doors you can see the mess all the time

After using it for a while, I haven’t really experienced heat escaping, so that is a pleasant surprise.

I am not familiar… but now that you’ve brought it up, I’ll have to look into it.

I don’t know if I would describe it as pointless but I do understand there are lots of screen that you can already display images on… but people still put pictures in frames and this serves that purchase. Most people don’t want to permanently display images on their TV/Tablet/Laptop because those devices are used for other purposes. When people come into your home this frame is a way to permanently display images you love to others. But it certainly is not for everyone. Thanks for sharing!

There are some viewer that left actionable comments that might offer an actual "Fix" for this issue and my hope was the community that builds in this comment section might be helpful in that way. Those are some good combos and when it’s cold outside those first 3 combos really get a boost. As for the case of Jelly v. Jam… You are right, I shouldn’t have lumped them into the same category, seeing as I am using a “strawberry spread” which was by your rationale would be closer to a jam because it has fruit solids. Is your response in reference to the last viewers comment about “spraying the connector” or are you not advising people to spray their mass air flow sensor?

​@DetroneDoesIt you sprayed the electrical connector on the car that's what I was referring to.

There are sprays designed specifically to clean electrical connectors. I used some while cleaning power lines during routine maintenance. The lines obviously were secured of power prior to the work.

You can clean your MAF at any point (even if your engine light is not on) it won’t hurt… but my rule of thumb is… “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” 😂

Thank you very much I appreciate your perspective! For $12 it seems like a pretty good investment. That’s a low cost of entry and you can see if it work for you. I have seen some alternative style that separate in the middle and push to either side of your garage door like curtains… it’s a little more presentable instead of the rolled up screen. Either way, I hope you find a good solution for your garage, because it is nice to get that good breeze while you work without the mosquitos

Thanks for watching… I am not 100% sure but I would think it’s the positioning of the turn signal cam. Since the signal functions properly on the right and functions properly if you manually cancel the left signal… sound like the cam is somehow not seated properly.

@@DetroneDoesIt Yeah, I did some more digging. Broken springs in the turn signal switch are also common. I will know for sure when I get the press tool to take it apart. Thanks man

It would be easy but safety will depend on the type of ceiling mount you get and how you stall it… but I don’t think it would be too difficult

@ Oh on the ceiling… sorry I misunderstood. That could be challenging but I guess it depends on how much you have to tilt it to get it to project properly… but is it possible, yeah I think so.

Sorry about that, it could have been my recording quality. But in my opinion, the quality is 720p only approaching 1080p in optimal conditions (like perfect natural lighting). It’s not bad, and definitely is enough an upgrade to have no camera but is not HD by any stretch.

@@DetroneDoesIt Actually 720p isn't too bad imo. I did a little research and most backup cameras are 1080p or less, and I seem to remember reading that many older cars have cameras around 520p but I can't find the source for that atm. My use case is not having a camera at all so 720p is okay but unfortunately what you reviewed seems expensive for what it is, even with the black friday sale. I found 2-3 cameras on Amazon at 1080p in the $80-120 price range. And while the solar thing is a nice touch because you don't have to drill and wire the camera or power, unfortunately it seems like the downsides of a lithium battery and solar panel is it lithium dies after a while and I saw people complaining that it would lose power too quickly in the reviews. I did end up going for another option choosing a wired camera but wireless display, but your video was helpful in researching the ins and outs of choosing a backup camera. In any case, thanks for both the reply and the review!
