Thanks JP. I did not see or hear any elk. No scat either. I saw 2 hunters and they were going for grouse. From the top of Ute Peak you can see down in the valleys by Henderson mine area pretty good. I was surprised I didn't hear any. I started at 715am or so.

Thanks for watching. I was tempted to go up there. I would like to attempt getting to Alice from Boulder Grand Pass but I am not sure if I could do that route. Boulder Grand Pass is steep and loose rock.

Lol. They're too easy to make fun of. Like what's even in that thing? Water and a granola bar? Those guys never did come back so they must have ran over to Boulder Grand Pass.

Thanks Nick. That wind was crazy and cold as balls. Luckily my hands froze a couple weeks ago at Mills Lake so I was sure to pack my gloves.

@@Miderguy_ What a perfect day! The crowds were not too crazy. We took the Campsite Shortcut Trail on the way back to avoid the people.

Thanks Allen. I liked this hike too. I almost made it car to car without seeing any people. I'm going to head back and go to Pear Lale this summer and try to catch some fish. I agree this hike doesn't have the best views but the solitude sure is nice!

I'm not messing around. Lol. I don't do any editing so it's quick. I got some decent views today. When I was leaving Lily Lake the clouds rolled in and you couldn't see Longs or Meeker anymore. I was done by 930 and it rained the whole way home. Hopefully you got some pancakes.

@@Miderguy_ Pancakes tomorrow! We did Bridal Veil Falls today. We ended at 9:50 and it started raining 2 minutes after we got back to the car. Timed it perfectly.

Yeah. Just like the rest of the hikes on the list. Lol.

I got the Nikon B700. Better than my phone. The zoom is much better and clearer. It is much better with a full on camera than a phone. You can hear the zoom in the video too. Lol.

@@Miderguy_ I was gonna guess Nikon! I have the B700 too. That thing has an insane zoom.

@nicksangetta8874 I'm going to do Silverheels in June. I'm hoping to get some cool zoom shots from up there. I like when you do the zooms from your car to the summit in some videos. Pretty cool for a small camera.

I followed that moose cautiously upstream for over a mile.

Lol. I got home before the family was even out of bed so I had some time. That was a fun little storm. Still a shit ton of snow up there.

@@Miderguy_ We barely got hit with the snow then we had blue skies again. But over where the Fern Lake Trail was looked like it was getting pounded! So much dang snow..

@@Miderguy_ I was like why is he filming that big pile of snow? Lol. Cant believe that was the falls. Ive done it in winter and I dont think it was all frozen up like that. Its a good waterfall though. Worthy of a revisit in spring when everything is green.
