what's the brand and model pls?
Great vid. How do you find that set up say with 4 on board? Is it 2 or 4 stroke?
Great video, do you all arrange meetings and go out? Thanks for sharing Ray K UK 🇬🇧 YNWA.
Nice How much does it cost n where did you buy it ? What material is it ?
There are several different boats in the video and they all cost different amounts. Generally speaking they are made of high quality pvc
Interesting I would like to purchase one like that can u advise me ?
Foldable ribs (f-ribs / fribs) are not being manufactured at the moment due to supply issues. You may find a used one on f-ribsandsibs.com/forum Or try facebook.com/groups/InflatableBoatClub.UK/?ref=share_group_link&exp=8ce3
hp?
Great! I subscribed to your channel! I'm in shipbuilding! It’s on my channel.!
What outboard used you and how many hp is it please?
I’d love to go out on a trip with you guys.
Nice pict and boat
Great video but no need for the background music.
Pulling up to shore and lightning a fire really appeals to me for some reason.
Best way to go boating the cheap way.Not a £10,000 boat you need friends to launch and you have all the costs.
Nice video dude Where are you from
Hi E & A, we’re a forum based group from all over the uk. We meet up in small groups occasionally for a day or so boating. Join us at f-ribsandsibs .com/forum
Music makes it un watchable otherwise looks awesome
Have you not got a volume knob
you sell a boat?
Hello Sinisa, We often have boats for sale, Join us at F-RibsAndSibs.com/forum for deals that we have advertised on our Market Place forum.
is there a big difference between the F-rib and a regular inflatable in choppy conditions?
Hi does any of the honewave have a air floor in that group .? Thanks
DUNCAN SHAW - yes, we probably have the largest gathering of Honwave owners on f-ribsandsibs.com/forum
th-cam.com/video/1WL8HKa1fmI/w-d-xo.html
What engine do you have
Hi Alphonso Christie - various engines on a variety of boats .. 9.9hp upto 20hp on the sibs. Find out everything you need to know at F-RibsAndSibs.com/forum
I have a brand new 330 pro SIB with a 8hp tohatsu and just wondered if I would keep up with you guys let me know and Il join you guy on the next trip
Hi, I’m getting a sib with an outboard in a few weeks. Could you let me know what I need to do to use it on the sea like you are? I know I need insurance, do I need a license, day license, some kind of permit? And is there any public slipways around Poole Dorset area? Thank you 🙏
Kevin Williamson - Hi Keith, i would strongly advise joining our forum to get some help and information to get you started, maybe look at a bit of basic training too (Dorset marine training are on your doorstep) In the uk we are lucky nothing is compulsory, but we would strongly advise to get insurance, wear a life jacket and use a killcord, - very basic things that can save lives. You can find us at f-ribsandsibs.com/forum
F-Ribs and Sibs great thanks for the info 👍
Hi. Do you need to register these foldable rib boats? Get some sort of licence or any official papers etc? Or is it is simple as buying it and going on the water? Thank you!
raulbora - Hi. In the UK there is no requirement for licensing etc but we do strongly advise all newbies to undertake some training if you’re completely new to the sport. Always wear a killcord/lifejacket and carry a means of communication for your own safety should the unthinkable happen. Registration & Third party insurance is sometimes required for specific slipways/councils etc. Find out all you need and more at f-ribsandsibs.com/forum
Hi have you guys got a Facebook page or something? I’m based in Bridport . I’ve got a honwave / 15hp
Hi Alasdair Marshall, you’ll find us at F-RibsAndSibs.com/forum
The Ringo looks like a good laugh! I want one. Question: How did you mount it to the back of the boat? And if you had to do it again, would you do it the same way??
Hi I'm a member of the forum and and I'm doing some research prior to getting an F-Rib, good video can you tell me which one is the 375. Also, the trailer in the foreground does not look like its supporting the rear of the rib. Is that ok as I'm going to have to convert my trailer from bunks to rollers and am trying to get an idea of sizes. Great forum by the way.
BEN10TO10 - those were a couple of NONE folding ribs that F-Rib HQ were looking to possibly retail. The far one visible on the rollers is the 375, the other is a 420 - slightly too long for the trailer. All the info you need, and more is available from the guys and girls on F-RibsAndSibs.com/forum
Thinking of getting one of these next season. I notice there is also a 375 model, apart from the length are there any advantages/disadvantages of having a boat that's 15 cm longer ??
BEN10TO10 - Hi Ben, we can answer all your questions and more on f-ribsandsibs.com/forum Join the guys and get all the help and advice you need to get on the water safely - maybe meet up with members for a run out 👍🏻
I like the video, why didn't you get closer to the needles ?
Where is this taken?
What hp outboard ?
Hi Paul, That foldable rib is fitted with a 15hp two stroke. You'll find a variety of SIB & F-Ribs owners and their craft on f-ribsandsibs.com/forum
Great video and lovely day to be out on the water. What Hp outboard is that ? 👍😃
Hi again 😃 what size outboard is in this video ?👍
Thats a 15hp suzuki 4 stroke gaz
Have just ordered the t38 today but still can't make up my mind what size outboard to go for. Limited room in my Nissan nv 200 van. Have been looking at the tohatsu 9.8 and 15. Probably will go for the 15hp as its more likely going to get me to the IOW. 🤔 How do you rate yr combo re honwave/Suzuki ?
Great video. Looking forward to next year getting my new sib. I'll keep an eye out for you all. 😃👍
Gazpic - there’s certainly plenty of the guys down south - you’ll always find a boating buddy. Don’t forget, loads of help and information on the forum to help you make a decision which is a suitable craft for you and your needs. Always worth a chat with the guys before spending your hard earned beer tokens.
Great thanks. You got that right about my beer tokens 😃🍺🍺🍺🍺 I'm a real newbie when it comes to boats so appreciate the advice. Currently have an Intex excursion which I poodle about Chichester harbour on. So looking forward to getting a sib. I'll get some practise in early next year in the harbour and would love to meet up when I'm more acquainted with the boat. 👍
Hi, great video. How long in real time does it take ? 😃👍
Hey Gazpic , From start to finish I think it took about 25mins. That was loading the boat with all my gear too. Seats, fuel, rods, food etc... you’ll get a great insight into the Honwave or other inflatables by visiting f-ribsandsibs.com/forum A great inflatable boat community full of knowledge & experience.
Hiya. Thanks for the info. Currently have an Intex excursion 😂 try not to laugh ! Will update to a honwave next year when I have more experience under my belt. Thank you for the link. Keep an eye out for me, you might find me causing havoc in Emsworth harbour and thereabouts ... 👍👍👍🚣🏾
Gazpic - no problem. It’s worth joining to see if some of the regulars are going out local to you.. A great way to learn or just to enjoy boating in company
Cheers. I'll join today. Thanks again for all the info. 👍
Hiya, just a quick question. Have you been out on the boat without the aluminium floor and how stable was it and how comfortable as well ? 😃
Suzuki on a Honda. :P
Mike Vermillion - yes buddy. I’m a Suzuki outboard fan and the Honwaves are superb sibs. The package works well together.
Hi Guys ..nice to see you had a good time … I mean this as a friendly piece of advice and nothing more .. I would say the same if I was there ..It is not a good idea to wild camp in a site with nesting birds. The gulls not only disturb you..but all those gull sitting on the ground watching have probably had to abandon their nests . They nest there every year around the cottages. The nesting time is May -June. so please consider this if you intend returning as its a breaking the laws of wild camping in Scotland. I appreciate you would not do it intentionally.. but you are now aware so hopefully you wont repeat it in future
How do I join your club
Hi Andrew, it’s quick and easy buddy.. go to f-ribsandsibs.com/forum Click on register, choose a username and sign up. It’s fun, free and friendly and you’ll be welcomed aboard by the guys.
Where did you launch..
Nice video. What length is the FRIB?
Hi Simon, that's a 3.6m folding rib (3 section articulated hull that folds up and fits into a decent sized family Zara or can. Find out more at f-ribsandsibs.com/index.php
Mine used to do that, until it went for a swim ! now it just does the hair dryer bit !
Is it possible to buy a folding rib with a removable steering wheel/seat as seen here?
Indeed there is. You'll have to speak to foldablerib.com direct as we're an independent forum not connected with sales but I'm sure they can advise/help you.
Did you launch from swanage slipway? if so how much is it to launch and is there a parking place for sib boat trailers? awesome video
Thanks for the kind words David. No not Swanage, we launched at Baiter Park slipway within Poole harbour. Address is Labrador Dr, Poole BH15 1UX. Plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers, £13.80 for the days parking and use of slipway. It's very popular there if it's good weather so get there before 9am.
F-Ribs and Sibs thanks for the information I will give it try last time we launched from swanage beach but now our boat is on a trailer be first time trying it, do we need proof of insurance or any sepcifications launching there? i must get a Ringo looks great fun.
F-Ribs and Sibs I see your have a number on your sib is that something that's needed? sorry for all the questions just been out few times but don't know the ins and outs of registration etc we do have sib insurance
Thanks David for all your comments. I've launched from Baiter slipway some 6-7 times and never had to produce anything to anyone ....yet! Great you've been sensible gaining insurance as you never know what can happen! You seem to be full of questions mate so why not join our friendly forum f-ribsandsibs.com/index.php - it's free to join, no adverts, non-profit making, it's where all these questions can be answered by your fellow enthusiasts ;-) BTW there's a no such thing as a silly question policy there, we just enjoy sibbing and sharing information :-)
I don't have a number on it David, Are you referring to the logo on the rear of the tubes? That'll be the folding rib or F-Rib logo i guess.

Speeds of over 30mph have been accomplished on a regular basis.. All the info you could require is on f-ribsandsibs.com/forum
Great vids... I have been looking for a club to join for a while and just came across your vids on You Tube.. I have a Zodiac Classic Mk2 with a Yamaha 20hp.. if you look at my you tube video there is a short film of it on the trailer (Home made) when I was at Loch Sunart camping..I have fitted a small A frame and built a box to house the VHF, Stereo and depth sounder. Have a look and see what you think.. I may be selling the whole thing soon and buying a Highfield 4.6m RIB with a Honda 50hp.. both my outfit and the highfield are two years old, mine is immaculate with some warranty left on the motor till 2017. Regards... Ian
Thanks Ian, Sorry for the late reply.. For some reason we didn't receive a notification of your post. Be sure to join us in F-Ribs And Sibs Inflatable Boat forum.. It's fun, free and very friendly !!
Prices are unrealistic for this boats. I would like to have one, just to go out on small rivers or launch from the beach, when i cannot launch my 16ft solid hull boat.
Why don't you join us on f-RibsAndSibs.com and we can help advise you on a boat suitable for you and your needs? We don't sell any boats or accessories , we are purely a users forum :)
Nothing else on the market that folds away matches its performance, hence the premium price I suppose :-/ This video was shot at 25mph/23knts with a 15hp ;-) in quite a choppy condition I think you'd agree.
I've clocked a FRIB 375 hit 29mph with a Suzuki 15hp attached. Very stable, very fast and ultimately very impressive!
We've clocked our 330 with a 9.9 Suzuki, two up, into a 10 mph head wind at 16.9 knots.
Are you Russian? You bring them over here from Russia or you make them here,in UK?
We are solely a forum for inflatable and folding boats, F-RibsAndSibs.Com is where we're at. Thanks
top speed?
That depends on the outboard size and boat load. All the info you may want is on F-RibsAndSibs.Com/forum You’ll find speeds , weights etc. Thanks
Hi. I see this boat and it reminds me of Russian made foldable rib called Winboat 360rf,which is been on there market for a while now.
it's the same boat
The F-Rib is a CE marked boat available from foldablerib.com ..They have several outlets in UK, Europe & USA.
Not quite the same boat but still built by Winboat in Russia in a different section to the 'home market'. Higher UV resilient tubes, pressure relief valves fitted and stainless fixings with a few other modifications.
Thanks for info.
I can hear slight buzzing on the engine intermittently, mine is the same have you noticed it and found the source? Mine is the DF20A and still in its running in phase and not sure if it is an issue
+ruger blackhawk Hi, The only buzzing I hear is when its recorded, probably just electrical interference? mines the carburettor version, I guess as your running yours in, it'll be the efi ?Pop on f-RibsAndSibs.com and ask the guys if they've noticed anything.
+F-Ribs and Sibs Thanks I will take a look.
