Your assistance with this documentation will greatly aid the progress of my project.

So this will only work with Futaba Sbus? I cant seem to get tit to recognise FRsky sbus.

it would be great to be able to set tilt limits and maybe make UART2 able to talk other protocols like Mavlink, MSP, CRSF? or be able to control with a usb controller? It would make it perfect for modern drones and film making in general if we weren't stuck with SBUS which is getting really old... I had to whip out an old futaba radio

Why can’t we set tilt limits with this gimbal?

This is a difficult gimbal to use. This is mainly because the gimbal doesn't have allowable stop points for the tilt. In other words, it will tilt infinitely and bind up your wiring. Also, the pan lock function does not work although the pan lock channel is at "0"
