@M.Ziz-66 there's versions of the touareg that have front and rear lockers, lift kits and stuff like that, this is standard with no modifications. And all terrain tyres rather than road tyres or mud tyres.

@@Michael-Gould ok i see .. btw, the front diff. lock had been almost such a myth 🙄 (😁), i still curious and really wanna dig it how many touareg that installed that feature/part (??). the point to rethink about installing front diff. lock (been said by many) is the front point is such a damn complex point, it's like "3 in 1" or "the conjuction" area (engine-to-wheel, steeringwheel-to-wheel plus .., the diff. lock itself - if installed) 🤯.. the rear diff. lock, still the owner could get the new genuine part one? just in case, if someone needs to replace the broke one or wanna install it just now..

@M.Ziz-66 there's a few companies now making aftermarket locker kits for the touareg and cayennes. This particular touareg is the 4.2 v8 but it doesn't have a rear or front locker, only the center locking diff and low range. Surprisingly does well offroad, needs a bit more ground clearance and some muds I think 🤪😝

@@Michael-Gould no matter which one the drive train, diesel or gasoline, I5, V6 3.0, V6 3.2 & 3.6, V8, V10, W12, the diff. lock part is the same, right or wrong? i mean, if it's "unisize" so we'll able to do "cannibalism", you know what i mean, don't you? for example: i take V10's rear diff. lock to be installed into V6 3.0 or 3.6, what do you think, is that possible?

@M.Ziz-66 from what I've read, I can get the v10 locking rear but I need the rotary button from the console, the wiring loom, the rear module which does the diff lock part. UK seems pretty slim when it comes to the rear locker. Would be an interesting add on. I'm currently building another navara up so we'll see if I still keep and need the touareg

Naaaaah, the titan swap is alot wider than the frontier set up, gives you 3" wider stance each side the bigger shocks give you more shock travel which makes a smoother ride offroad. Articulates so much better

@robertchautardjensen6846 it's a very deceiving hill at parkwood offroad centre, it's churned up, he was in low range, but still struggled, full full video he did it again and got up but had to hit it with speed

I like the navaras, you get more truck for the money. Easier to work on, not as much parts but more custom Fabrication places are making bits now

This was a budgetish😂 titan swap, guy used his navara shocks, HD springs and a with spacer ontop Not as much travel as the bilstein 6112s but he says its alright offroad, been out a few times with him and no major dramas with suspension

@@Michael-Gould sweet! I believe the stock shocks can get 2” lift with a 32mm strut spacer but can still reach the bump stops. So should be no problem there. How much travel does the 6112s give you? No coil bucket contact on stock UCA? Or do you need aftermarket ones?

Titan swapped front end, 3" body lift, 37" tyres. Titan- 4" Body - 3" Tyres -4 or5" depending on air pressure 😂

@fpossenti it's the 4wd system in all honesty, this one doesn't have lockers, only low range, and even at that the low range is very temperamental, if you look at most of the hill climbs the low range isn't engaged, so it's just awd mode. The tyres are comforser all terrain so again not the best for drumclog 😂 even darkside got defeated here. Plan is go eventually get a lift kit and some bigger mud 33s or 35s and fix the low range. Maybe lockers in the long run. I do miss offroading in a big pickup truck though

@jarrodwatson7933 oh no not you too! What turbo did you replace with? I got the max speeding rods one and it was garbage. Had to get it set up properly

@@Michael-Gould honestly I went with another Garrett turbo for my 2.5L YD25 diesel. Comfortably pushing 30psi

@jarrodwatson7933 can't go wrong with the original ones. Did you see the upgraded one that's on ebayUK? My friends running one on both his trucks, one truck is 275bhp the other is either just under 300bhp or just over

@eroisuruote492 we think the cross member on the rough country 6" drop bracket kit took the hit, but a month or 2 later the diff exploded on a hill climb 😂😂

@Debax_official hands down they did that day, the touareg got stuck and over dramatised every little rut. The only thing the touareg beat them on was sound

Hey buddy they are 37 13.50.17 on +18mm offset kmc recon wheels, 50mm spacers front and rear, titan swap front end, longer shackle in the rear and a 3" body lift

They have a wide turning circle, I felt the titan swap made it better, truth be told it was my fault I should have turned early but there was a huge boulder that the sliders would have hit 😂

@franzdemesa5663 there was an np300 in Australia that had a titan swap done to it, they had to get custom made cv axles if I remember right as the diff is different to the navs

@@Michael-Gould really? That's interesting. If I remember correctly, D23s also have the R180A diffs that the D40 has. If that's the case a qx80 cv can complete the TS. Are you running M205 diff on your TSed D40?
