What do I do after two months and my beautiful red flowers have withered and died? Is this a one time bloom or do I keep the bulb and wait for More to come up? Do I cut the wax off the bulb and plant it in the ground? I live in South Florida.

I planted the new bulb pre than 1 month but it doesn’t grow anything from the middle. 2 leaves from aside come out very slowly. What’s wrong with this bulb?

Why did my replanted Amaryllis bulbs from last did not they only send up leaves first no buds on 8 bulbs from last year.

I live in sand and mine have been in the ground 20+ years and they won’t spread at all. I wish they would spread for my honeybees. I have a small patch the size of a dinner plate. I dug bulbs last year and planted them all over and I haven’t seen a one come up and my other little patch is up and going strong right now.

I am sooo glad I found this video!! I was really irritated when I read they are one time use and you toss them after they bloom. Like, WHAT?!?!?!? NO! There's got to be a way to make this baby live.

I don't think it's invasive; its beautiful! Looks like you need to start selling them to make money if you don't like them. Same to me as The Star of Bethlehem, they're wonderful. The bugle weed is also like them and you can't go wrong for a group of little flowers with a powerful punch of color, purples and white...if you're a gardener, that is...I like to plant crocus around them as well.

I found your channel as I was searching how to grow an amaryllis! …but I’m wondering… Is the new leaf supposed to have a pinkish red tent? What does that mean? I don’t remember it being this color last year when a new leaf came out. I think last year it was a beautiful green color. I took a quick photo of it, but I don’t see where I can include it with this comment, darn it. Any help you can suggest will be greatly appreciated! Keep up the great work with your channel!🎉

We tossed our holiday waxed bulb out by our deck (not buried) this Spring and forgot about it. Then it just went crazy with growth, so i planted it and it produced huge green leaves! Since its extremely cold here in the Winter I'll be potting it and leaving inside by our picture window. I wonder if I should be waxing it instead?

Hi, I planted amarillos first time and mine are much taller! The foliage cannot stand straight and don’t look good or attractive. Do you have any suggestions what to do? I’m in Northern Florida.

I love it. Purple ones already in my back yard when I bought my house and I just bought more of the white/blue variety to mix in.

Wow--cut all the green off! Dumb question but how does a tree live without leaves?

Here in NW UK I have grown two or three; then they vanish. Field mice eat them, bulbs just don't grow and they are not cheap to buy for our containers. Can't believe my eyes!

If you want your Amaryllis to re bloom they have to go dormant stage for a while ! I line mine up in the garage, for winter, don't cut off the leaves, let the leaves die, do not water!!! When the Spring comes and all the freezes are over I put them outside to start growing again ! They bloom again, They must go dormant to re bloom,
