I applied for the NYSO Immigration Specialist job which was advertised on Indeed. It is a role that helps their foreign workers get work visas in the USA. I am very experienced and I have both a corporate and law firm backgrounds for 20 + years. I also speak several languages including Spanish, English and French and I have tremendous experience in the field of immigration and business law. I passed the first video interview with Jenna Priore at their HR and was referred to the main HR Manager Sara Knox for a second interview. For the first interview with Ms. Knox, I could not connect with Ms. Knox on Microsoft Teams video because of video Technologies issues. But they insisted that is what they want to do. I would have flown to New York to meet with them. They rescheduled me two days later for another video interview with the same HR Manager, Sara Knox which I appreciated it. This time, I went to a Starbucks to make sure I had the best connection possible. I joined the meeting that day at 3:15 pm when it was supposed to start at 3:30 pm. So I was 15 minutes early. HR made me wait for an hour. NO News. Nobody showed up at the second video meeting despite me sending several messages to their HR to advise and remind them that I was already waiting there at the the meeting waiting.. I even sent them a screenshot of me waiting at the meeting. Nobody called me or emailed me. Nothing. Then they sent an email 4 hours LATER notifying me that they "have decided to go with another candidate". I am American. I did not know an American company can treat people like that but I still give them the benefit of the doubt. May God bless them.

Very good podcast. Gave us a great overview of the past, present and future of energy markets in New York state. I particularly enjoyed the part where Mr. Rana explained the motivation and the intuitive reasoning behind dynamic reserves, which is the need to ensure reliability and encourage flexibility. The future of conventional generation is definitely in ancillary services. I thoroughly enjoyed the podcast. Please keep more coming.

The use of NERC GADS data to help predict the expected reliability of certain resources and the practice of using much less proven reliability like data, data from resources behind the meter seems to require the addition of apples and oranges. This policy can help explain why we need natural gas well into the unfounded yet mandated NYS transition to greener energy. Let’s be honest about the need for natural gas.-

You keep showing wind turbines. Why? You can start by not misleading the public regarding the sources of electricity in New York. Fossil fuels ( like gas) is huge. Nuclear power too. That's great.
