As well as the +5 Athena deflecting dashes with Demeter’s 10 stack chill and call. Only to be greeted with Hades being a chump and just lets me go lol

Bro this just happened to me on an almost 0 damage run 😭

This happened when I had one revive but full health with the aspect of Gilgamesh. I had doom in my attacks and critical strength in my specials. I was fully ready for this fight and I skipped through the dialogue only to be let go. I came back here to see what he said.

How many times did you have to beat Hades before this happens?

Lol when this happened I was trying to do escaping with every weapon prophecy and I only had Malphon left and I made it to fight 30-ish hp, hopeless to finish the prophecy.

There was a saying that went among my friends who played the game,the saying is that he had a 3rd phase when you fight him for the 10th time,and I prepared the best build I could for that just for him to let me pass.I was shocked.

Man I hate hades so much. I know he’s aware of how terrible he is as a father but the way he belittles Zag, insults him, disregards and neglects him just hits so close to home. The stubbornness to not admit to your mistakes, the incredibly high amount of pride and spite etc. The worst part is he knows how to treat someone tenderly seen in his treatment towards Persephone but he chose to direct his anger and his hurt towards his son (after Persephone left) instead of just a) sending someone to find and explain the situation to her (Zag found her after reaching the surface once so it couldn’t be that hard) b) raising his son who is his last remaining family as well as his only connection to his wife with love (like a decent person) Or Yknow he could have just not verbally abused him but nooo he had to be an absolute pos of course. All of the dialogues with the two are so charged with resentment from both of them even though everything is literally just hades fault. The audacity this man has to threaten, beat and kill his son for wanting his mother instead of his sad ass is incredible. (Ik he wants to protect Persephone but I despise how much he cares for his wife as well since he can’t even extend a sliver of that care to his son) And don’t come at me saying “Hades cares for Zag” yea sure but not nearly as much as he should and he should have done a better job at that maybe then his son wouldn’t resent him. He reminds me way too much of my father istg

I had the styngian blade double hit while dashing, 4 dashes in total making the blade hit 8 times, zeus lighting attack, and to top it of the sword could do ranged damage by slicing through the air, giving even more dps, he let me go :(

Literally got this on my final run to get Persephone... Almost like the game was saying "you've worked hard enough and deserve a free win for once."

My run was absolutely cracked when I found this, all 3 death defiances left, a cracked out Dionysus special with Chiron, and I decided to just take the easy win since I’m used to just throwing completely winnable fights

I was so mad. I got 3 duo boons (dio+aph) (dio+art) (art+aph) with 20% increase in all damages. Full 200 HP and 4 death defiances. 😢

Happened to me when I was about to do either the Lucifer or the Bow one (Both which I hate) and basically jumped in happiness

There are people who will look me dead in the eye and tell me dead cells is better than this game

I kinda wish Zag softened on his father a bit there, after he let him go. He's not standing in your way now, there's no reason to belittle him as being afraid of being slain.

i had such a good crit based bow build, damn crits were going to around 1200 damage per hit i was disappointed cuz i couldn't use it against him

I kinda wish they included the option to fight him anyways, and Hades gives you a sample of his EM4 fight. No third phase, but bringing in the changes to the first and second phases.

I did this run while taking the Speedrun challenge... I reach Hades thinking "Can I kill him in x amount of minutes?" I doubt it but I was gonna try... And then he lets me go and I fulfill the challenge and get the ending of the game ... I was in absolute disbelief... And I love it
