Did you ever get this open?
After asking Bu-Ko where I can buy a new fuel cap…one just turned-up in the post! Great service from Burrowmount Ltd. Top job 🕺🏼
TCW oil 100:1
Had someone active the roof button and the piston moved (right tag light hole ) So, your problem is/was the mechanical lock - as is my problem. th-cam.com/video/GFcm_8w7f28/w-d-xo.html
totally unecessary to cut a hole in the lid.you can go through the tag light with a long screwdriver, insert it between the black plastic and bellows and it will open.
You have nice garden. 👍
Thanks for your upload, am just about to do a self build, can I ask what company you used to get the steel cages constructed. Thanks.
Hiya, sorry for late reply. Just use the nearest one to you to keep delivery easy. Have you started?
How's the Husqvarna running now? I need to replace my old LT200 Snapper mower as the deck completely corroded through this year (about 18 years old) the Snapper would choke with grass alot shorter than that lol.
Hiya, sorry, just got this. Bullet-proof machine still running great! Go for the more powerful engine like mine and add a knob on the steering wheel...it's much easier to drive.
I am no expert by any means, but looking at the gauge of the steelwork and amount of stone, it feels like you are preparing the foundation for some some really heavy loads. Hand on heart was it necessary? Was there any bearing capacity calculations for your building before deciding all the parameters for your foundation? Thank you in advance. P.S. I'm in the process of building a garden gym and will have to go through similar process.
Hiya, completely missed this comment, apologies. We did fight the structural engineer stating we 'weren't' building a multi-story carpark but the ground was so bad he wouldn't accept any less. I assume your gym is all complete? 100mm slab with mesh through the middle would be plenty?
beavus and but head do diy
We had a similar problem where when roof was up we couldn't open the boot but could open when roof down so we used your second video today and working great thank you
😣 Promo-SM
Why do you need 50 people there?
Could you please tell me what is underneath it? is it compacted gravel? How can you make sure it won't do further into the ground after you laid the resin bound stone?
Hi great video and follow up I’m definitely going to remove the black lock fitting. Your car is the same colour as mine. Do you have the paint code for it? I can’t find the sticker on my car thanks Al
My coupe does that at times, sometimes all I have to do is drive it around the block and try it again and it opens, and or lock and unlock button several times on your key fob. But it wasn't related to water getting in on mine but just from not driving it enough, I believe it may be just be vacuum related.
Wish I can build my own shed to house conversion. Probably wouldn't be cheaper tho lol
No part 4 up yet? Brilliant project 👏
Thanks for the comment Stephanie. Been very busy on other projects but I now feel inspired to finish it. I'll do it for us...go 2023
Hi how do you fix those trims to the ground? also that spillage cracked me up🤣
Hi, I glued them the day before with Gripfill or simular. Think I put the odd screw in at the ends to stop them moving but mainly rested bricks or whatever on them overnight. It cracked me up too!
@@KFZPXFaultMJones excellent thanks 🙏🏻
That looks beautiful! Is it ever slippery? When dry or when it's wet? Do you need to add something to make it non-slip? Thanks 🙂
Hi, I added the fine glass to make it anti-slip. I was a little worried as we have dogs but no need to worry, it’s anti-slip in all weathers. Takes a jet wash to clean it once a year because it’s under a magnolia tree so gets a bit messy but hey, who doesn’t like to jet wash!
Why put mains water pipe in sewerage pipe should be in a black protected pipe .
Not sure what you mean by black protested pipe?

Holy smokes, that's alotta rebar....
F me! I found you while assessing foundation options for my 30m^2 man cave. Not all applicable to me, but I did learn a lot. Thank you for posting :)
Hi Pompey, I used the same principle for my man-cave. Only much smaller all round. Basically a slab with double thickness where the walls went and some steel mesh to stop it cracking. Best of luck with your build and thanks for the comment.
Next time please eliminate the radio. It's very distracting.
Why dont u isolate foundation ? Water and humadity damage the steel in time...steel will decay..
We could have put a plastic membrane but we used concrete 'blinding' instead. The engineer gave us the option and our thought process was to let the water drain away rather than sitting in a swimming pool as any water will have nowhere to go. I know in some climates you have to use a membrane because of termites. This is not relevant in the UK. Your thoughts?
@@handyhayd should use membrane for protect foundation.
Nice video.Keep up the good work.
How can I contact you? thanks.

Please what is the ratio between aggregate and resin? Thank you
Hi, The kit I bought had it pre-measured in pots so I just added 'A', 'B' and 'C' together.
@@handyhayd hi there where did you purchase these kits from
Hi Greg, Do a search on ‘Resinbond’ and that will give you a few choices. They don’t all have the same stone colours so keep searching and asking 🕺
My friends oil pump blew and I did the bypass like you did. As the pump isn't being used did you have any problems with it seizing up? And did the 50 to 1 ratio work out well as I don't want to seize his motor. We brought it to a shop and they wanted $700 to remove the oil pump, replacements are obsolete.
Once it’s out of the loop it has nothing to do and therefore is a bolt-on bag of weight. I’m very happy with ratio of oil. You will get smoke on first fire up each use but I would rather smoke than ‘no smoke’! If smoke bothers then use less oil...but we all know oil is good 🕺
@@handyhayd Thank You
The beam pictured at 13-48 is off square not much given the width of the beam but it sure is off
Nit picking there
First the handle is in the wrong place on the trowel so there's more pressure at bottom than the top second you wasted half the resin on the first mix and there's no way mixing it in that plastering bucket is covering all the resin stone what a joke
Yes, it was a learning process as never done it before. It all worked out fine and still looks as good as when first laid. I assumed a plasterers trowel is designed for even pressure distribution? What trowel would you use and how you mix such a small amount? Cheers. Hayd.
sorry sir can i ask about your first preparation and details about this project , sorry if my english is bad
Hello Andika, Soils samples were taken every metre over the whole site. The outcome was that the ground was not very stable (just pure soft sand in places) so that’s the reason for a raft foundation. It is calculated the if a 1/4 of the earth underneath washed away...the raft will still hold the house up. It transfers the weight over the whole site rather than concentrated areas. Was that what you are asking Andika?
There are no starter bars for the walls is that normal or does the shuttering not necessitate the use of starter bars
Hi Leon, No need for starter bars. They didn’t want any of the steel exposed to air. This will be a timber framed house so only one block high to go on the raft before house goes on. It will have a brick outer skin but still no need for starter bars. Cheers Haydyn
@@handyhayd thank you very much for the reply truly appreciate it... can I throw one your way again for, so since for timber no starter bars are necessary is it the same for cement fibre based boards for a three story building? Working on a project and I dont see any starter bars there even though they are on the drawings is it the same as timber or no?
@@understandingaddicts You need to check with your Structual engineer as if they are needed the chances are the bars will go through the damp course and will need treating with a bitumen paint. Often more hassle than there worth!
Which way does the exhaust valve go so it’s open when bypassing it any idea?
Don’t really understand the question Case...more info?
@@handyhayd Whats the valve un the exhaust for ??
@@Dougie1969 It blows air to a pump that pulls oil into a mixing chamber of petrol. Nowadays we just mix the oil and petrol in the fuel tank. Back then, the oils were too heavy and just sank.
@@handyhayd I mixed gas directly into it. Plugged all the stuff off. This thing runs awesome!!!
Hey buddy another question how do you remove the air filter? I’ve tugged puled tried turning and I can’t seem to get it out of the box? Thanks

How did this work? My oil can cracked this seems better than searching a new one.
Hi, She runs much, much better now. With the oil in the fuel it can't be starved and I get much better acceleration.
