@ awesome man. I have always really loved his playing. As a teenager in the late 80s I was all about slash for a bit, then in college it was SRV, then I stopped playing lead guitar (and guitar in general) for many many years! Have been back into hardcore the last few years and decided to tackle the “slash style” that I could never do as a kid ha. But I’m really into just blending into my own thing, so dirty blues rock. Trying to mix major and minor pentatonic. Really enjoy old Clapton stuff for that as well. Good stuff you’re doing man 🎸👍🏼 Cheers

Haha you're welcome mate, it was a great choice, wasn't easy at all, but you can't go far wrong if you keep practicing the scale, now hopefully you have some extra chops to practice.

I agree. I just learned the framework for a whole song using TAB whereas without TAB I probably would have bailed out. The TAB definitely teaches me memory as well faster without the mistakes in timing and notes/chords.

I remember learning myself, I really wanted tabs for things, it's not a big deal for me to make them so I'll continue, I wont be charging for tabs either, like many do.

Yeah, unsure why I've waited so long to feature ZZ Top / Billy Gibbons stuff!

Thanks for the feedback. Yes indeed, Voodoo Child also uses this throughout the song, and so does Voodoo Chile. Jimi would use this a lot, pretty sure he picked up this style from Muddy Waters, who originally did Catfish Blues.
