So in the end you never really gave your opinion. Is San Martin trash or not?. You also never gave us your opinion about whether we should buy one for the price point or not. You just went through four or five basic assessments and gave it two pretty good reviews and three bad ones. All the while acting like or implying that they were trash but never really saying it. You never actually compared this watch with its original and you never let us get a close up look at the watch. It's almost as like you wanted to review the watch but it wasn't worthy to give it the time of day. Therefore, you toss this quickie video together and left us to assume your opinion. The problem is you didn't do the watch a good service and you did yourself a disservice.

When I assess the quality of a watch review video I usually look at things like lighting, sound quality, picture quality and the range and quality of shots of the watch in question. I'm afraid this video falls very short in all those respects. You are complaining about the quality of a watch brand while making your own product (the video) of very poor quality. I'm not surprised you haven`t got more subs dude.

I was in Nara japan for the first time and my arm was hit by a deer and the sapphire crystal of my watch was scratched(It was my first luxury watch). For the first moment, I´ve goot way too upsed , but after a while, I noticed that It´s only a watch and In the future I will rember my first time visiting japan when looking at this scratch!!!

Look at it this way as long as the movement the dial everything that's inside the casing is intact you can always replace casing crystal and bracelet... I have dove watches Invicta and Bulova Surveyor automatic watches and Seiko 5 I love my watches and wear them even at the gym carefully but if they scratch I will replace casing crystals and bracelets originally... Enjoy your eat h for years give it value and modify them

I purchased a san martin sub. It had the blue fade to black face which i really liked. watch works perfect. I haven’t noticed any glaring loss of time. ( I wear it on and off in rotation with my other watches) I’m overall happy with it. It’s a 200$ watch, i didn’t expect a 10k finish, that being said, I was surprised that it looked as good as it does.

I own top brands (Rolex, Omega, Nomos) and have a few San Martins. The San Martins I have are a little bit more of their “original” designs. Quality wise, they are really good. Probably at least as good as a $1,000 retail watch. These days, if I spend $300 on a watch, I am much more likely to pick up something like an Islander Watch. SM make good watches, without question. But they are a faceless Chinese company with less than ideal ethical business practices. I am pleased that they continue to design original watches. They get credit there.

I bought a San Martin BB Pro homage. I love it. I wear it nearly every day and even wear it to bed most nights. I replaced the bracelet with a rubber strap and it is very comfortable. I own two Omegas and a Rolex but this is the one I reach for most days. I would add that I also view this as an economical way to test run whether I would want to purchase the actual Tudor…which I most likely will.

I have a 1980 Seiko quartz that I got for my high school graduation. It stopped about 2015. That’s 35 years. It has sentimental value, so I had it repaired and it runs fine. That’s pretty good quality.
