I have no problem buying these homage watches. Rolex watches are extremely overpriced and you have rich people that just buy them flip them for profit which drives up their price ridiculously. I’m going to get a watch that I like at a price that I like. I sure hope you’re driving a Mercedes because if you’re not, you just ripped off that car company because almost every aspect of your car was first developed by Mercedes.

Its not out by 1 minute no way. Plus the times are specified as per the movement. For example they might use ETA, selita or Seiko NH35 movements. When you compared the tudor to san martin they looked similar quality. Having said that i wouldnt buy san martin and agree with you about design and also heritage.

Excellent presentation with relevant point that you sir bring forth to the San Martin watch brand, I have a few San Martin watches that overall are nice but having stated that I do fully recognize that there is of course no San Martin watch that can truly compare to the value of quality found in the big watch makers specially those names of fine watches made in Switzerland. San Martin as you well stated at a price point between the $250 to around $340 mark offers to many prospective buyers with a style and quality that I as a buyer of these San Martin score at around 6.5 to a maximum of 7.2 scale if you will. Rolex - Tudor and other fine watches specially with their mechanical movement and yes their sound working crowns and overall finish to their bracelets and clasp finish and finish with less sharp edges vs the San Martin Chinese brand have no reasonable comparison in their substandard value, the fine Swiss watch manufacturers to the most part produce a level that I would score at 8.7 to 9.5 overall but of course all good fine watches that exceeds over $5,000 are expected to meet the higher standard in the global market for those who can afford it for their daily use and for their well valued personal collection. The Chinese market for over 10 years have generated much of a leverage in the world’s economy and the United States and many other western countries have fallen in their nets as catch of the day as the fishermen are the Chinese and the fish in their nets the U S and many Europeans countries including Canada to our northern border.
