Here's me, when Madilyn Bailey tweets (called a friend in the background)
So those of you who don't know, one of my FAVORITE SINGERS BY FAR is Madilyn Bailey because she (TRAGICALLY sadly) is one of a few singers with THE BEST VOCAL VIBRATO IN THE WORLD! Because I've always felt like she never listened to any of my comments at all, I always feel like every time she posts something I just HAVE to try to be the first one to comment on whatever she updates her feeds.
This time, she posted a Tweet on Twitter that she's coming out with a new SUPER HOT song in the future, and I've no idea when that will be. Also, because I'm using my phone which reads the notifications to me, you can hear my phone tell us that it's a notification from "X" which is Twitter, and the fact that Madilyn posted it. Unfortunately my friend Kristian's voice, on the other end of the phone call, is a lot louder than the other sounds, but hopefully you'll be able to catch a glimpse of my SUDDEN ADRENALINE when I literally heard the name "Madilyn" being spoken. This also happens whenever I hear the name "Lauren Alvarez" being spoken by a phone voice too.
So here's my reaction to when Madilyn tweets. Since the IPhone is capable of having the user write in Braille on it, it has a function called "Braille Screen Input", so that's what it was saying. Also, I manipulated the voice to sound as close to my own natural voice as possible, so if it sounds weird, that's because my own voice is weird.
Speaking of Madilyn, I really honestly think we have a SUPER HUGE shortage of good singers with my favorite kind of vibrato. So in an effortt to spread the word, I'm going to link to an exercise technique developed by one of the world's leading voice scientists which basically explains how to get a vibrato like Madilyn has. Here it is... Madilyn and Lauren should NOT be the ONLY two singers left in the world with this kind of vibrato!

@@xX_wiLLiam_Xx BEST, COMMENT, EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's my dream goal too!!!!!! In fact, it's my dream goal to actually start to team up with somebody to actually MAKE zampogne because I don't want them to be a wrongly kept secret between Italians, and of course you know how the language barrier is over there. I want zampogne to be more mainstream instruments kind of like how very easily people can order an Italian accordion, I want people to be able to order zampogne just as easily. Right now, you have to communicate with a human translator who will communicate with the maker, then the translator will have to buy the bagpipe and then ship it to you... not very efficient! Obviously, I would get my first instruments that way, but then I'd work with a pipemaker to replicate them and then start my own zampogna making and teaching business! Who knows, maybe my favorite singer Lauren Alvarez might get involved in the other side of things too, the zampogna is often played with an oboe-like woodwind instrument (which somehow can't be put in a comment for the stupidest reason), but it's mostly described as the 'zampogna's wife' so to speak. So yeah. Problem is, even good zampogna makers are hard to get in touch with anyways.

Not all the singers were sheperds!😂 The majority of singers were actually "biddaresos" the artisans or workers who stayed in the town and had much more free time to sing with the rest of the community in times of celebration. Meanwhile the sheperds were in the countryside alone for months. The task of the trio is to give rhythm to the poetry singers who are doing a poetry competition, sometimes this kind of competition lasts for hours.

I KNEW MY LIFE DOESN'T MEAN A THING TO ANYONE AT ALL!!!!!!!! Plus, I DON'T TRUST YOU AT ALL!!!!!!!!! Trust ME because I have more astute hearing than you do!!!!!!!!!! If she added those amazing harmony parts in the song, why would her producer go and make them so faint that nobody notices them? TO me, that doesn't make sense. Those other parts should be audible to really make the song shine through, and literally all you hear is the one vocal track!!!!!! Her producer doesn't seem very acomodating either. Look. When I asked Lauren what she thought of a studio acapella for "Without You", she actually agreed with me that this was also quite a good idea, except that she was super busy and couldn't take care of it right away. Which is absolutely totally understandable given what she's going through. But now here's her producer saying "No" just to make me feel HATED??????????????? If her producer was more accommodating I'm absolutely sure Lauren would agree with me on the idea of a studio acapella for this song. Plus, she also told me she did want feedback because she said she's trying out this so-called 'Kelly Clarkson effect' out for the first time, and I clearly remember her saying she wanted actual constructive feedback. So here you are being ABSOLUTELY HATEFUL about it!!!!!!!!!!!!! Listen, I'm definitely telling Lauren about this hateful comment you posted!!!!! And it sounds like you need me to enjoy singers with crap slow vibratos too!!! The reason why Lauren's like only one of my ONLY TWO favorite singers is because of her vibrato! And there is seriously THE HUGEST SHORTAGE of good singers left in the world, and there just REALLY NEED TO BE A LOT MORE singers with good vibratos like Lauren's!!! Thing is, as a blind person I've never been able to make videos 'cause I obviously can't see, and I'm not living with anyone who can help me with the camera and all that. And I learned the hard way most people are more reactive to visual stuff which is a definite BOO in the blind world. Plus, as I mentioned to someone else, this wasn't a recording I made but it was on a hard-to-find Facebook page run by Italian pipers which only Italians or Italian bagpipe fans will ever find. Trying to make a wrongly-kept secret known by uploading this to reach out to wider audiences because nobody would otherwise know how insanely cool Italian bagpipes are, compared to Scottish Highland pipes. So if it can only be found on a niche Facebook page and wrongly kept a frickin' secret, why not upload it to YT? The only thing I hate about Italian bagpipes is that it's a wrongly kept secret NOT MEANT TO BE SECRET!

Super glad you LOVE these!!!! Now I wish I had a set, but I'm afraid not. As well, I didn't record this. Literally I thought of including videos (instead of just audio files on a black background which I've always done) just to attract more subscribers.

@@michaelkazmierskidunn7189 I totally agree. Same goes for all the other cool bagpipe varieties. Just off the top of my head I recommend listening to bagpipes from the banat region of Serbia. They are great too and have an extremely unique sound. If you search Banatske Gajde You may find something. There are so many great bagpipes that are left in the dark. It’s a shame. And I hate the fact people always bring it back to Scotland or the idea they are somehow Celtic. I remember reading an article by a Ukrainian man who was the last man to preserve the Hutsul Duda and even he bought into the stupid idea the oldest bagpipes are Scottish. Which is such a shame considering his tradition is just as old if not older and preserves far more unique archaic characteristics. I applaud your efforts to bring Italian bagpipes to a larger audience. I love the very obscure archival recordings you’ve uploaded.

@@DGR233 OMG BEST COMMENT EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Since 2020 I also love Serbian bagpipes (not just from getting Sean Folsom's 'Bagpipes Around the World' album for Christmas 2008), but I bought a used copy of The Ace and Deuce of Pipers from another guy. Bit afraid to upload it because of copyright issues, but still. But you're right, bagpipes from most non-English-speaking countries are wrongly kept secrets that should not be secret. That's why zampogne are the worst kept secrets ever because nobody else knows about these AMAZING bagpipes!!!!!!! But there's tons of English-written material on Serbian bagpipes anyway, so I feel like the Serbians are doing a better job at reaching out to wider audiences. But the poor Lucanians, not yet. And the notion that bagpipes are originally Scottish is also total nonsense. That's why I'm the most passionate about these things.

It actually took two whole goatskins to make that bag on this set. But fortunately, they do make synthetic bags for zampogne. Personally, I'd never use leather when I can avoid it altogether anyways. So if I get a zampogne I'd demand that the pipemaker put a synthetic bag on it. I'd never play leather bags myself when I can avoid it, just 'cause I HATE MAINTENANCE especially as a blind piper. Legit, my nonpiping dad actually maintains the Highland pipes I play.

@@BillyTheKidder Hey, that's ok. Literally, I didn't even record this. That's why the visuals are so good. Problem is, too many Italian pipers don't know how to speak English which is clearly and obviously THE WORST THING EVER, so I didn't know what to do other than by "borrowing" as it were a Facebook video from a big Facebook page specializing in Italian piping. I use Google Translator to do everything on that page, and because everything's in a language I don't speak, I knew the Italian people wouldn't care if I uploaded it to TH-cam. Obviously with an English translation. I've been enfatuated with Italian bagpipes since 2010, and from reading tons and tons of pages via Google Translator I know everything you ever want to know about Italian bagpipes. In some of my other videos, there's a link to a dictionary of Italian bagpipe terms I put together so you can get to know about Italian bagpipes as much as possible. I wish I could link to it but putting links in comments is considered spam, so you'll have to find another one of these videos of Italian bagpipes on my channel to get the dictionary.
