Legend version!
God bless the Enclave!
HURRAH!!!! HURRAHH!!!!! FREEDOM FOREVER!!!!! IF YOU SUPPORT THE CONFEDERACY, YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO AMERICA, YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO THE FLAG. YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO WASHINGTON. YOU ARE A TRAITOR TO THE FREEDOM OF MANKIND.
Many of them ironically consider themselves American patriots
This song rings true even to this day.
Like this song. Love the union version and the confederate version too
365,000 Union boys laid down their lives for freedom. We salute you!
You do not speak for anyone besides yourself. Shame on ALL the Northern aggressors and God bless the BRAVE PATRIOTS of the Confederacy who fought for the country as it was founded. States Rights FIRST, freedom from Federal tyranny.
@@edwardlandmichl7622What states’ rights? Because you know the states, whom seceded from the Union, mainly mentioned slavery as a core justification for exiting. Quoting Mississippi’s secession document: “Our position identifies with the institution of slavery - the greatest material interest in the world.”
Yes me too
This is more fire then Atlanta in 1864
The Union, even without the Confederate States, would be practically the number 1 power on the planet in all aspects.
We're marching to fields boys, we're going to the fight boys.....
This song was played by World War Two bands headed to free slaves in Nazi concentration camps.Naturally General Sherman tanks were part of it.
I love the original lyrics that said "Up with the Star' because a lot of Union regiments carried Battle cry of freedom flags that had a single 5 pointed star and on rare occasions a 6 pointed star in the Union box of the American flag. 🌈🌈🌹🏰🏰🌺🌈🌈✝️🌩️🌩️⚡⛈️🌺🏰🌹🌈✡️🎵The rainbow of God is in the Bible.🇱🇷🔯⚡
That's really interesting, I didn't know that, thanks for sharing :) L'chaim to you my friend, God bless
@@arfyego0682 Thank you for the blessing in Hebrew.Aleicham Shalom(Unto you peace). The Union regiments took the star from the pre CIVIL WAR flags that had the U.S. seal star on their flags but most of the time the wrong star was used. The wrong star was a 5 pointed Star. The right star was a 6 pointed Star see over the eagle's head on U.S.one dollar bills.Enjoy and peace.

I'm from South Carolina and I'm a proud unionists. The union forever! 🇺🇸
With all the Trumpublikkkan traitors around we'll be singing this song a lot in the next few years.
I am a proud Union veteran. I would steadfastly march headlong whatever the tune carried us.
Me to
Best rendition, no doubt!
Can you upload a fife and drum version?
Can you upload a version with fife and snare drum?
I'm from Georgia but I despise the "southern" version. It was put forth by people fighting to defend their right to own black slaves while the original version celebrates freedom and abolitionism and the union. The idea that the confederacy was fighting for states right is a lie that the old confederates made up in the 1880's, 20 years after the war was over. Let's be clear, the rebels were clear about their intentions in 1860 and 1861. They thought it was their god-given right to own other people. Shame on all my ancestors who believed that nonsense.
This is going to be an unpopular opinion but I'm gonna remind you that the largest slave market was actually in New York city, a stones throw from Wall Street. Everyone profited from slavery. Racism didn't stop at the Mason Dixon line and don't think for one SECOND that one side was better than the other. Abolition was a political move, and while steps were attempted at creating equality, they were undone by the legislation. Education is the only way we are going to move forward. Instead of talking about tolerance, both sides need to *be* tolerant. Instead of talking about justice both sides need to *act* just. One more thing, human trafficking is the 21st century term for slavery.
> “Those States have assume the right of deciding upon the propriety of our domestic institutions; and have denied the rights of property established in fifteen of the States and recognized by the Constitution; they have denounced as sinful the institution of slavery; they have permitted open establishment among them of societies, whose avowed object is to disturb the peace and to eloign the property of the citizens of other States” - South Carolina Declaration of Secession The Confederacy themselves said it’s about slavery
replace the background with urkaine flag and images of ukraine soldiers fighting back.
if someone can add the version of ukraine.... add in the word ukraine and down with putin

"I do love our union but I love Virginia more"
@@Ilovechocolatelabs Said Thomas Jefferson XD
The Confederacy should rise again... So the Union can finish the job!
@@randomcommenter3189 And the confederacy was a centralized autocracy that had slaves.
@@randomcommenter3189 I know that the Confederates tried to justify their action's with "States rights" claims, but if you look beyond their rhetoric and examine the way the Confederate government actually operated, you'll see that there was more central government control under the Confederacy than under the U.S.A. Read the Confederate constitution and you won't see any permission for their own states to secede from itself. Even even as the rebs hypocritically claimed to be exercising a "right to secede", that was certainly not a right they granted to their own states. There's a lot of comparing the confederate "volunteers" to Union "draftees", but Jeff Davis instituted the first draft in American history, and while draftees only comprises 4 % of Union troops plus 9% substitutes, they comprised 10% of Rebels plus 11%substitutes. Rich man's war, poor man's fight. The Confed constitution also dictated what laws it's own states could or could not make:“No … law denying or impairing the right of property in negro slaves shall be passed.”. They claimed that state level slave laws were none of the Fed's business when it came to abolition, but the Confed was very involved in state business when it came to preservation. The Confederacy was the greatest threat to State's rights this country has ever seen. You want fake freedom, rally around the stars and bars. You want real freedom, rally around the stars and stripes.
@@randomcommenter3189 For starters, I don't understand the end of your first sentence. For someone who prefers civil war to be "put to rest", you sure have a lot of complaints about today's Union. It doesnt seem quite fair that all the points I raise should be "put behind us", but all the points you raise should be "never forgotten". If you want to make this about the present day Union, I could name a lot of other things the founders wouldn't be too keen on, but ultimately, whatever the Union may have become, it still beats the nightmare that the Confederacy was by a long shot.
@@randomcommenter3189 bro fuck kamala she is far left I don’t wanna follow that dipshit who probably thinks communism works, a true american is a moderate who can see both sides and take good things from both not go all left or all right
@@randomcommenter3189 yeah I think it’s only a matter of time before we fall fully left and the marxists take power but idrc anymore anyway
The Union forever, hurrah! boys, hurrah!
True patriots don't wave the traitor's flag.
Right. They wave the gay/blm flag and fight wars for Israel.
This is the American flag sir
Traitors associate themselves more with their state than the nation
The star striped banner is a traitor flag as well.
@@SirDrakeFrancisno
Yes we'll rally 'round the flag boys, rally once again
Dixie forever!!!
You're sounding like a traitor...
@@generalsherman1213 Good thing it’s the other way around.
@@jackmurphy3940 In what way? The confederates committed treason with their unlawful succession from the Union.
@@generalsherman1213 at the time i don't think there were any laws preventing secession
Amen
If we didn’t win old wars the British would make a slaves and probably we wouldn’t be born
Theres something so innocent about this rendition, I can't lay my finger on it
This is easily my favorite version of the song that I've heard, you've earned a new sub. Down with the traitors, up with the stars!

@@jacobdavis7732 Dude... I know there is no way to bring Sherman back, I’m just sayin he was a war criminal.
@@jackmurphy3940 no not that.
It's the fact you think he is a war criminal
If there's a provision against a state leaving the union in the constitution, show it to me. And I say that as a loyal northern born yankee. Before the war they used to say the United States are. After the war they said the United States is.
the union is at war . it is why people have guns . the war when it gets hot . the people will fight . you can go as a state . if you defeat the US . it is in there = union forever . the US is the 1st people army . you must kill all the people to leave 1st
You have to remember that who started the war was the confederacy at fort sumter , not the union. And the reason why the union was so right at the civil war is that : Besides defending theirselves, they made the constutucion up to all man and women across the country , freeing slaves and reuniting the country around one flag for all , white and black . The Union Forever !
@@felipetierno9515 I fully agree. I was just raising a talking point.
