Same, loving all the new stuff, shame I setup the club to start the same week, I would’ve included a lot of DLC in it. If it’s not already out, I’ll wait for next DLC before I start the next one, get all the DLC into it.

They are a lot of fun in the dry, I can safely so, not so much on the ice. Stage 3 was so close up that point, I was right behind you when I did that checking the analytics on Racenet, I just turned in a split second too early and it cost me big, it’s a lesson learnt and onwards to Sweden, I’ll be keeping up with our points over the championship as we both started week 1.

I risked it and found out I couldn’t full throttle it this time, mental note made that it can’t be done in the rain. 😂

I’m sure it’ll make a good short, you should always do the shakedown, for the longer stuff the extra set of tyres is handy.

If I’m in unfamiliar conditions, I’m doing a shakedown regardless, which ultimately saved me for a bit.

I didn’t add Portugal or Sweden as I knew stages were being added to them with the coming DLC’s, Monte-Carlo was a happy accident as I wanted it with Sweden. Depending on how you bought the WRC 24 DLC, it might come at no extra cost. Look me up on discord (same name), I have an idea of something we can do together.

My rig is a Next Level Racing GT Lite, foldable. I’m looking at the turtle Beach VelociryRaceOne, it comes with load cell pedals, with means I only have to buy 2 shifters separately, one shifter, only hand break. I subscribe to the Colon McRae school of rally ‘if in debt, flat out’ didn’t always work for him, I’m have less crashes than I was, but that was first time I’d driven Central Europe at all.

@AdLamb ok I think that rig is ok as the nm isn't too high, but I can't say I know much about the turtle beach gear as Im on pc so it's pretty dominated by moza & fanatec at the lower end, but it looks decent enough I'm beginning to subscribe more to my tortoise 🐢 philosophy of going slow makes me win 😅

The turtle beach is Xbox & PC compatible, like my Thrustmaster I have now so that was another reason I’m looking at that, have quick release wheel isn’t a big deal for me. I can have everything less than 1k, anywhere else I’m looking at 1200-1500 minimum, budget has its part to play. There were a couple of places that if I’d just lifted a few seconds earlier, I would’ve been fine.

That and it was the same corner we both went off earlier in the rally 😂. Next up is Sweden, though my 1st rally at Croatia would’ve started by then.

I know it because I had the slightest bit of turn, but I wasn’t turning more, car was going right & I was turning left trying to save it. It’s a common wheel problem, I’ve seen it happen to others.

No you’re not, go watch some endurance racing, everybody will tell you, lower class cars are supposed to take their line as normal & the faster car is to overtake when it’s safe to do so.

Yeah, the amount of penalties I’ve gotten for people turning in on me when I’m well along side is ridicules, I’m sure they’ll keep working on it, if it ever work properly or not is a different story 😂

It’s just frustrating when you very clearly make an effort to not make time & it slaps you with penalties, I lifted earlier the 2nd time at raidillon & got a bigger one, but this was on Monday, hours before update, they seem a little better now, but not by much.

I had further dramas but it started with that, Forza Glue will do as Forza Glue does, it did turn out much worse for them as they had a full meeting with the tyre wall.

You can see the red marker on my wheel for centre line, it was turning left and only jolted when I was hit until the last 1 when you see I straighten it before the contact, they hit me 3 times, I hit them once.

@@AdLamb you can see that the camber of the road means that your trajectory was always going to hit him. Don't get angry over a penalty that you played a part in.

Sorry, Autistic people tend to be pedantic, comes with the territory. So I understand it, when somebody hits you on the inside, I should just let myself spin out instead of trying to fix it, the contact was totally on them, I had 2 wheels below the line when first contact was made, I wasn’t the only person they did to, that’s not a mistake that’s intent, I’ll continue to stick up for myself. Yeah, as the title said, sometimes it’s not a good idea to give as good as you get. You have basically implied it’s my fault, well, I didn’t start it, so I don’t see how, only reason I got pen was because they hit the wall. They learnt a listen, so did I. You and I are not going to agree on it, clearly it fine for somebody to smash you I. The inside when you’re already there, I get it.

I would counter with, I’d been on the track for a good 5 seconds before the second guy hit me, plenty of time for him to avoid me considering the corner.

They just braked later than me for the corner because they weren’t carrying as much speed, which I knew was going to happen so I was trying the switch back.

It was just an off track, don’t give penalties relating to pit exit as far as I’m aware, or entry for that matter.

@AdLamb if you go out of bounds on the opposite side of the straight, no penalty. Pit lane incursion is the logical answer. Although, it's Forza.... you never know!

Im sure if it was something more like that, it would say as much, not just ‘Track Limits’, I’m going on the assumption it’s not that comprehensive as it doesn’t even give penalties for crossing pit entry or exit lines.

This was months ago, when proxity arrows weren’t working properly, I turned in where 1 car on my inside would’ve had enough space, but because the other car was there, they couldn’t turn in & that’s where the incident happened. I wasn’t saying it wasn’t my fault, I’m just saying if I had a radar back then, I would’ve known the 2nd car was there & wouldn’t have turned in when I did.
