I graduated there in 1977 (MS Chemistry). I was there a couple years ago to visit and the campus still looks great! I am glad to see these improvements are going on. When I lived there the population was around 20K and there was NO McDonalds in the entire city. We hung out at Shakey's Pizza for pizza and beer. I liked the video, not so sure about the loud music in background. Go WYO!!!

Wow, campus has and is changing! It’s been a while since I graduated in 86, but they were some of the four best years of my life! I heard the hundredth anniversary is this year and I’m hoping to come to homecoming! Go Pokes!

Susan remember me? It’s Larraine Lambert. Just watched your 2020 interview. It made me cry. You were and are one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. I don’t know how you ended up with me as your pledge daughter. I was your polar opposite. In everything. You were so good and me not so much. You were such a high achieving person. I was so proud of you. And I was the most mediocre student that Alpha Chi ever produced. But I want you to know that I turned out ok. Despite my mediocre grades at Wyo U I ended up being an executive at HCA the largest for profit hospital company in the world. Maybe you saw that potential in me in 1967 and that’s why you picked me to be your pledge daughter. But who could have predicted? I live in Nashville, TN and am retired now. My husband of 40 years died 5 years ago but I’m doing well. My life turned out to be as far from what anyone could see in 1967. A C student ends up managing A students. So, as your first daughter ever, know that I love you and think about you often. Larraine Lambert GERELICK By the way, just so you know that I’m still the same person, I have a full sleeve of tattoos. You and Don turned out just as I thought you would. Amazing

The women's BB program is a hidden secret gem and I hope at some point we get the kind of crowds enjoyed by such Midwest Universities such as Iowa, Iowa State and others, where they fill the stadium and get national attention. The Cowgirls shocked the MW conference in 2020 when we beat San Diego State and went to the NCAA Tournament. We won the NIT WBB in the early 2000s and have been competitive in the NIT, but our goal should be qualifying every year for NCAA Tournament. Then get past the 1st round. We can do it as the great staff is home grown--ie: brought in as assistants and stay on as staff for years. We've adopted the model of using quite a few overseas players that luckily our coaching staff knows how to scout and convince to come to Laramie (Powerhouse UCONN does the same thing and they could go only with USA only players, but realized there is talent outside USA and it can be harvested with great results). I will always remember that Devin Moore, return Kick off return at CSU and his creear rushing at UW. Cannot forget Chris Pronski's safety plays and Ints, from kid of Buffalo, Wy. Chase Applebee's Int against CSU in the 2016 boarder war and forced safety against Boise St. Mitch Unrine's defensive stops on CSU and the 2nd over time goaline stand against Fresno St. In the 2009 New Mexico Bowl. I believe he also scored a TD for Denver on a tackle eligible play. GO POKES!
