Thank you for your insight! However, I will say that I am not a professional game maker, nor is it my full time job. I do not treat it as such, but I do still put a lot of work and love into my work. I get that everyone has different tastes, and that's completely fine. If it doesn't interest you, don't play it. Not a big deal to me. But there's a fine line between constructive critique and harsh criticism, and if I'm honest, I feel like your input is a bit harsh. Have a great day!

I don't think it's matter of taste as I play low budget story games like these, lately I finished The Red Bow, My Big Sister and Ashina the Red Witch and bought Misao which I also plan to finish but it's harder for me to play jumpscare based games. If you have good reason why you want your protagonist to be unappealing, it's alright. It can be legit design choice and I just wanted you to be cautious and place yourself in player's position. I played Undertale, Hex or Inscription. I played old NES games. If your trailer would be game info, I would be fine with it. It doesn't add value other than small info dump to the game but doesn't take away from it either. As trailer you want to show good, exciting parts, invite players, show them what they are missing out by not playing your game. In Undertale when we start the game, we have quick intro but beautifully illustrated (it's minimalistic style) and touching melody that will become main Undertale theme and will be further used as leitmotiff. Similar approach would be helpful but if anything, at least increase text speed to improve on intro flow. I didn't know that you don't monetize your work but doing things more professionally, with polish will profit in future, unless you are creating prototypes. Sorry if my initial feedback seemed too harsh, I have good intentions. Good luck!

Thank you!! One of my favorite games was made in RPG 2003, that's mainly what inspired me to learn how to use it. It's very fun and I love using it!

I'm releasing it on Itch.io and GameJolt tomorrow, and on Steam on the 26th!
