Doombringer (the shotgun) is underrated in PvE. The free 30% crit is huge. Also, just use the right-click hold instead of full ADS, real hard for shotguns when some enemies move fast (especially on that dawg boss).

There are bike upgrades that increase stats; hp, horse power, ect.

First strike on Tin will give everyone a digby. Mining silver can get you shiny digby's (prismatic and gold digbys)

Make sure you keep up with your specializations. Keep on the lookout for specials that allow you to make you money. For example, combo chip sets that sell for 12k el; ability to make gold/silver bars that sell for 6k/12k, crystals ect. You need around 400k el in the last phase to purchase 4k starcrom with el.

Polar expedition is important because those heat/cold stones give you an hour of +hot/cold res. There are also weather events that effect temps. For example, I have max res gear, 20 cold res food, and still froze in a blizzard the other day.

Your sanity in-game drops based on the surrounding pollution level (displayed on your cradle backpack) and your armor's pollution resistance, this will decrease your maximum health, to counter this you can use sanity gum (craft sugar from beets and then sanity gum) or brew certain drinks, craft certain meals or use the festering gel deviant (it will heal your health and sanity). Always get the mystical crates in the towns as they provide you with blueprints for valuable weapons and armors, disassemble dropped weapons as they cannot be repaired or customized (you don't own them) and get their blueprints and materials. Always have a molotov on you as they will prove very useful in certain monoliths, securement silos or open-world missions to burn the vines and get valuable loot. Make use of deviants in this game like the Digby Boy (a miner), Beaver (collects wood), Lethal Rabbit (collects hide and meat) and so on.. Just an fyi, shooting and throwing things in this game among MANY other things are slow or laggy, the game is relatively new by a chinese mobile game studio, they're trying their best and constantly updating. (loved the video, have fun playing :) 11:33 there also is a deviant screen in your backpack or if you press escape and under "explorer's guide" click on field guide you will see deviation archive as well as formula books, building catalog, enemies and so on (there are two pages press A and D) the game has a looooot of hidden menu's (The mini fester deviant that you're using is a great choice for combat) remember to shoot the mushrooms as they provide a temporary shield dome and bring ammunition, a lot of it..

as for the loading issue, did you install your game on HDD? i had similar problem when I installed it on HDD, then it fixed when I installed it on SSD. it also happens when your internet speed is slow btw

here's a horrible fact about way of winter, there are no apple trees in this map, and you need apples to do a ton of things.... so you will see ppl selling apples for 200k energy links per apple

Oi, stop wasting those good hides and turning them into rawhide, diff types of hides gives diff types of buffs, and it's a common knowledge in early game to craft gears using bear hide or seal hide, as they give 10+ cold resist,

Skin an animal to get fur, build a base and set up a gear table to make armor from the fur of the animals you killed. Don't make leather with those skins just yet. The skin adds temp resistance.

I love the vids dude. You defiantly have some sort of pc issue im running a 3060 gpu, ryzen 5 32gb ram , ssd and the game is supper smooth no loading issues at all. Please check your system

When you move to hard and pro, you do not get to use your activators. They give you 3 on hard and 1 on they give you full health after you use them. Use an ssd instead of an hdd for any new games. For pollution you can drink beer. You will have to brew it with a barrel and some corn or wheat you either grow or buy Shotgun players on any games deserve to go to hell. You need a molotov for those vines or burn weapons. They have grenade launchers that force you to keep moving. Big brain move on molotov. Remember to disassemble all the dropped weapons for calibration blueprints. The easy lvl have different different tactics. Hard and pro are way harder but the rewards are also better. When you are high enough, you'd run bosses on pro to get you ideal mods. On the novice, you fight the shadow version of the bosses to get use to them, then you fight the real version. The only ones who don't have a shadow are the last 2 bosses (giant and mother) In pro, the tree lady will spawn lightning on you over a large area. It will kill you if you're stationery. The Xeno Purifier is my favorite if the dig is not available tbh he deals crazy dmg. It took me 1 try no flex i used an AR (shapnel yes I gambled) and a sniper rifle. Stay on the server and keep playing.....the dog will mess you up. It was like the hard stop for me. I died like 5 times because my armor was not on point.

You are fighting deviants rn, once you hit lvl 25, it starts getting a but harder depending on the load out you are using. I would recommend shrapnel for this server but I use power surge (cheap and efficient) I mainly play pve but I heard power surge is good for pvp too. But keep grinding to learn the game and play all bosses on pro solo. LEA facility too (you don't have to do that solo it's very hard)

Try using melee to kill 100 enemies

For performance reasons, I'd recommend having your game installed on an ssd and not an hdd

Fuel is valuable. There is a specialization that you combine fuel and stardust ore to make stardust source. That is needed to calibrate (upgrade your gear). Your next phase will start taking you into harder areas. There are also prime wars (big boss fights)

The point of scrapping found weapons is that you get a weapon calibration from it. There are two ways to calibrate: one is calibrating the weapon (raises damage), the other is the weapon calibrations you get from taking apart dropped weapons; this changes things like reload speed, clip size, crit rate, crit dmg, elemental dmg, ect. Both of these are done on your gear workbench.

Your ability to capture deviants is based on your equipment levels (gloves in particular). For weapons mods, don't buy them cause there are hordes of puzzles scattered around the map. Some will be visual puzzles (stand in a blue box and line up the pieces of pictures), Burned out churches have a map puzzle, a floating yellow balloon you shoot it and it moves 3 times, ect. Each puzzle usually gives a weapon mod. Chests respawn every 4 hours.

Just remember, changing servers is mostly starting over at LV 0. You keep any blueprint frags, starcrom, recipies, mods, mod parts, and the various monies for special vendors. Energy links and different things get converted to "sand" currency in enternaland and everything you collected, including weapons/armor ends up in Eternaland. Once you start in a new server you can bring things back from eternaland but it's limited. You have 20,000 currency to transfer stuff back from Eternaland but things like weapons/armor cost a lot to transfer. Most people import things like electric drills/chainsaws, and deviants.

PvP servers are pretty empty right now partly due to how unoptimized the game unfortunately is but also because the PVE scenario way of winter released last week and stole primverse and manibus players! PVP should stabilize again in 4/5 weeks when the scenarios end and people choose a new scenario 😊
