Why the awful music and video effects?

Outstanding!! One favorite part was the Niagara Falls sound of adding fuel while watching quantity indicator approaching full. What an incredible lamp. Love to see this stacked up against modern automobile headlamp, I bet ye olde Tilley holds its own !!

Some sniff cocine, some sniff ladies bicycle seats. But to me you cannot beat the smell of vapourised paraffin. On a lighter note (pun intended) you will have to get a more authentic filler funnel .P.S. The technical name for a filler funnel is "Pissaphone". Sir what you have there is a rerr perr.absolutely marvelous.

Hello. I just got a Tilley fl6. My on off knob it around at about 10 o’clock near the back of the reflector. How hot does it get that low on the reflector? I am guessing it is too hot to reach in there.

Ron, the SP8 is made to exhaust via the chimney by Mamod. I have not made any alterations to it.

Very nice engine you have there runs smooth,I have an sp6 that didn't come with exhaust tubing to the stack was just wondering how yours was connected,did find some not long ago ran some to the stack works great but spits oil and water everywhere so I'll have to make a catch can to stop it..

well that link is dead. looks just like a radioshack hoby engine with a metal/plastic bracket. so i hope they didnt cost more than 10 dollars total heh.

@Shesnoin Aye, Freightliner are having some of their wagons converted to carry biomass (basically woodchips), which needs to be kept dry, hence the covers.

I received a Jensen 75 as a birthday present from my wife and I love it. Imay not be as fancy as the Wilesco's, but it is still a great little engine. Do have to admit, I like the black paint. Might try that on mine. Thanks for sharing.

Very Nice. I just bought a new one and I was a bit disappointed with the dog lipstick colour. The other annoying thing is why on earth fold the base of the boiler housing outwards? I am going to look for a used one and make some mods.

I too Like the awesome paint job, it always bothered me that Jensen never tried to fix their paint burn that in my opionion takes away from the look of a fired engine. Nice job!
