Fixed one with heat that I bought on eBay..... It was squealing at reasonable volume... apparently due to vibration...a phenomenon known as microphony.. I removed the backing felt... I didn't use masking tape, but I will if there is a next time... Masking tape on the front and 4 sides... Lay the pickup face down on a sheet of aluminum foil on a cement surface...heat a clothing iron full heat... Fold the aluminum so to protect the cement and the iron..place the iron for about 5 minutes... Remove iron and let it cool...

I can confirm that the firmware update for the trio and trio plus works on the original trio and adds functionality including to the three button footswitch. For instance, in live mode you can pause drums, bass, or drums and bass.

Thanks, William. I bought one of these pickups about 5 years ago and it didn't work so I had thrown it in the back of a desk drawer. I needed one for an acoustic I bought last month so I remembered it and pulled it out and decided to try to fix it. I found your video and It worked for me after the second attempt. I got too heavy handed with the screw the first time and it cut the cable in to. The problem was that it had never been screwed in properly. So much for their quality control....

Can you mix pedals of different volts? Say a nine and a twelve plus an eighteen volt pedal,as long as one doesn't exceed the 500 mA?

Be careful my friend, i loved the strap idea , i have it , but last night it pulled out the top strap screw and button from my les paul last night, the geometry of the chunky plastic mechanism acts like a bottle opener to the top screw n button.

I just got this I love it but I have a curved 48 rack bar I got it $125 on Craigslist. I would only buy the 48 inch if you prefer not to break down stands and want extra room the 38" is way more giggable if you intend to break down your gear or don't have a serious shit ton of hardware (I'm talking about 4-7booms, hh stand, snare stand, throne, etc OR a 6 pad td-30kv when I say shit ton) the bag is volumous and the "38 suits most drummers needs unless you fall into one of the 2 categories I mentioned. Just though that would be helpful to people researching this specific size of bag for purchase ;) be forewarned it's big!

The bag is cut in half the long way but the padding is sewn in.

Waited 9:53 so see that you dont shot the inside of the case. thats what im interested in and the main part of this bag. want to know or see if i can remove the padding inside to put other gear in it instead of a keyboard.

Thank you! I was looking for a video/instructs on how to remove my broken Pro Mag. Any info on that I would appreciate I would like to take it off to go camping. And perhaps 67kjek would like to provide a Snarky comment on just where to find the instructions that came with it 15 years ago. All that aside this worked. However I did not leave the old wire in the plug that would occur following these instructs exactly, and I used a box cutter to expose the single copper wire so the new end was the same as the spliced one before stuffing in back in the jack.

Hey man! I just did this exact thing and long behold it worked! I was doing a sound check and noticed mine was on the fritz, and by the time I got home it wouldn't work at all. Interestingly enough though, my wire cutters were too dull to do the job right, I ended up having to do a second cut with scissors. They cut it without damaging the new wire. :P
