Hey, man. Love your videos, by the way. I wanted to ask if you could make a video about why you play ranger. I've went back and forth with ranger, while i prefer the actual hunt more in that game mode, I never stick to it. I guess mostly because I feel like there is certain species that i just cant hunt reliably. So, I feel like I'm not getting the most out of the game by not being able to reliably hunt everything. Do you have any of those issues? Like bears, wolfs, small game in general. I want to stick to ranger, I feel like it really adds something special to the game, at least while hunting antlered animals. I just feel like it lacks for most everything else animal wise. I'd like to hear your opinion about why you stick with it despite its shortcomings.

Oh man you inspire me so much. This game has become my favorite way to unwind, I’ve mapped out all my need zones and such in order to help me transition to ranger mode. I’ve committed to the not skipping time (except through the nights) but I still take advantage of a need zone if I find myself at the right times. I’m having a blast and it’s all thanks to your channel. Appreciate you a ton. One question, have you found an easier way to change your ammo types in ranger? I find it so difficult to switch my bows arrows between the blunt and broadheads

Maybe the overgard scope 3-15x50 is better for night hunting. Red dot and residual light intensifier, a little night vision. The challenge of night hunting is transylvania is great.

You are supposed to look for rings that go all the way around the horn (something difficult to do without the horn in hand). This is how wildlife biologists estimate age (although the best method is to extract a tooth and count the rings)

Thats in real life

To age a bighorn sheep, look for the four year ring and then count the rings toward the skull from there. Once you are able to quickly identify the four year ring, aging rams becomes easier. You may notice that most of the time, the growth throughout the horns will be spaced differently.
