I don’t think he’s worried about it but everyone around him is. After the events of Space Marine 1 everyone was thinking he turned Chaos Traitor because of his survival near a chaos weapon that he shouldn’t have survived. So everyone has those fears and concerns about him. And as it appears even the guy who chose him to be a marine was even concerned about it. -B

Mainly because Titus SHOULD have turned but he didn't and being a badass even by space marine standards it would be a disaster if the dude who accomplished the things he did became a traitor.

@@Pub4Heretics If I could sit down with you and go shot by shot and show something like Astartes in comparison where Astartes succeeds and Secret Level fails. But camera work, characters, sound design, story, almost everything in Secret Level is not very good when taking into consideration that it is a multi $million project. And it's not even grim dark. I would maybe describe it as: optimistic angsty teen action sci-fi. I asked my brother who is have worked in the industry for about 25 years to watch Secret Level, I wanted his opinion on it. The only positive thing he had to say is that Secret Level was good on a technical level but overall he thought it was low quality work. The first 30 seconds of Astartes gives the viewers more information about space marines than pretty much any 40k film I have seen. Syama Pedersen understand the cinematic language, whomever made Secret Level does not or at least does not show it. There is a good 1 to 1 example between the two. In both Astartes and Secret Level there is a closeup shot of a space marine foot stepping into their launch vehicle: In Astartes you see the space marines have to crouch a little to get inside the vehicle and then you get a close of shot of the foot stepping inside and the whole vehicle shakes. You get a real sense of their size, mass and weight. Just this quick shot tells the audience a lot about these characters without a single word spoken, and it is like that throughout Astartes Secret Level on the other hand; you see the marine stepping onto the drop pod and then the camera shakes like someone is actually standing there with a camera. You get nothing out of the shot, you learn nothing about these characters. Perfection is a lot of little things done correctly. I am very very critical of Secret Level because I am a 40k fan. And I want good things for 40k, I don't want to be a fanboy and just praise any slop that they throw our way. When Dawn of War 3 was revealed I immediately said this looks like shit, and everyone told me how wrong I was. And now every 40k influencer shill says Dawn of War 3 is shit as well.

Potentially, but you see the psychic shield come up immediately and then time becomes slowed outside the bubble allowing the marines to keep firing. But then when that herald kills the psyker the barrier goes down and then time stops for everyone. I think the statue was causing the disruptions and the marines were concentrated on destroying it while the psyker protected them. But I could honestly see both happening. -B

Yeah this is where we get a bit confused from different writers and different chapters, because with the Dark Angels it’s 100 years for gold and 50 for silver (Ravenwing book), and then the Soul Drinkers books its for 10 years service and you get an Ebony stud if you’re a Chaplain for 10 years (The Bleeding Chalice). It might just be different with every chapter, and for Ultramarines it means 50 years. -B

As far as I can see, Grey Knights have something similar in the form of shield crests (the little shield that sit at their armpits) and that denominates which Brotherhood they are a apart of. Other than that I’m told Paladins have their helmets white and thats about it. Would like to see a bit more visual diversity with that so we the fans can know by sight. Maybe with a new codex! Hope that was somewhat helpful -B

I agree with you. Don’t think at this point they would be able to truly capture the world with having to spend minimum a million dollars per scene on just the sets and extras. -B

I thought Titus leaving their only defense against the warp magic behind to take out that tank seemed to make him uneasy aswell.

To be fair, those are Victrix Honor Guards. They have always been depicted with power swords. It helps that the swords are a gladius style, which is the other iconic weapon of the Ultramarines since it fits right in with their Roman theme.
