Marie Labadie (Mannon dite Sauvagesse dite Sauteuse) Also Known As:"Sauvegesse Indian-Possibly Dtr of Chief Pontiac", "Marie Labadie"Birthdate:June 1747Birthplace:Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, United StatesDeath:February 05, 1784 (36) Windsor, Ontario, CanadaPlace of Burial:Windsor, ON, CanadaImmediate Family: Daughter of Chief Pontiac and Kan-tuck-ee-gun Mannon Labadie Wife of Antoine Louis Descomps dit Labadie Mother of Joseph Descomps dit Labadie dit Badichon; Antoine Anthony Labadie dit Badichon, Wendat Ojibwa; Angelica Dragon, Wendat Ojibwa; Pierre Labadie dit Badichon; Teresa Elisabeth Bernier and 4 others Sister of Nabankkum Nebankkum Pontiac; Njikwisena Pontiac; Kasahda Pontiac; Otussa Pontiac; Pashshegeeshgwashkum Odawa and 1 other Occupation:Sautese tribe of North America
My great......great.... was Pierre DecompsLabadie. He married Marie Angelique Lasalle. They traded with your tribe and it maybe one of his children that married Pontiac. They were here when forte Detroit was started and eventually had 23 acres. I think they were on the Ottaw side and then wound up in Detroit.
The loss of any people's is terrible.
I think we are cousins. Pontiac married a woman who's last name was Labadie. I think they had a daughter named Marie Badichon? My dad told me about the connection as my grandma was a Labadie.

I have been researching my Ottawa ancestors (I am Peoria/Ottawa and know much more about my Peoria side) We share great grandparents from Kan-tuck-ee-gun and Pontiac down through Notino. Notino was my 5th great grandfather, and then his daughter was my 4th great grandmother! I so enjoyed your video about our history! Thank you!
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
I am from the Labadie aka Badichon. I was told by my dad that the Labadie's are related by marriage.
Hello Cousins!! Pontiac is also my 6th great grand father❤️I’m so glad I found your video!
@@idahodocdunn Boozhoo Cousin!
I like the look of your repair. Much stronger than the original, and now that I know how to make a good repair on a common Airstream problem it's one less thing I need to worry about. Thank you for sharing.
@@jackroderick6757 awesome! Glad to hear it. Thank you!
Why doesn't anyone mow the grass?
@@jaygold4467 I wish I knew. 😞
Good job no doubt. Why not get it repaired by a certified Airstream dealer and maintain the value of the coach? Yes, I know not cheap, but if you ever want to sell I know I would not purchase a unit that had DIY repairs like this. Again, your work is good for application.
Thank you! We are DIY’ers at heart. We love the challenge. About the only thing that we consider when doing a project ourselves vs a professional is our time or if we know we are clueless. This was a quick fix for us and we were back on the road. We’ve seen other airstream you tubers get a very similar patch even at a certified dealer. I wouldn’t want a panel replacement because I think it would happen again. As for resell, If my kids don’t want it when I die, bury me in it! 😂 Have a great day and thanks for watching!
You have 4 left hands for 2 of u. And your husband has most of them cause you sound useless. Sorry but true
he is my 8 great grandfather
Boozhoo cousin!
Great video! I love going to the crater of diamonds!
Thanks! Yeah it was a lot of fun!!
You've sold me! I'm putting Branson on my list.
Awesome! Y’all will love it.

Be very careful if you put a wood cutting board over your stove top. Our neighbors down the street did that. It caught on fire after they left for the day. Their home is still under repair, almost a year later.
Wow! Thanks for the heads up. That’s scary.
Glad you enjoyed it. I was definitely impressed.
cool,I like walking around Cabelas and seeing all the stuff,up here inn Canada ther not as nice as down in the states.thanks
RV owners really need to be handy to keep things in good repair. That body damage can be greatly improved using Paintless Dent Repair (routinely used to fix hail damage without repainting) techniques - almost certainly not like it never happened, but greatly improved. Our used AS came with 2 creases on the rear end cap - now you don’t notice them unless you look for it. Google it.
Had to stop watching about two minutes in. The music is just way too loud compared to the talking.
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for your feedback.
Music not a problem. Doesn’t interfere with narrative.
Your problems are normal for the breed and the DIY you implemented indicates you will do well with the coach. Happy trails.
Love the simplicity of your episodes!
Thanks so much!!!
Lol! Yes, We survived! Had to say a little prayer there at the beginning. 😅 Thanks for watching and commenting. We have mounds here in Texas-Caddo mounds. Check them out if you are ever in East Texas.
Is the arch starting a pinup mag, that pose on the grass was a winner. 😂😂 You survived the washing machine ferris wheel tram ride. 👍 I loved the museum at the arch when we visited it back in 2021. That's too bad the center was closed. I wasn't to do a mounds site road trip in the future and hit all the mound locations from Illinois to Mississippi. Great video Mullens Fam.
Nice! My fairy friend lives there!
Nice double cheeseburger!
It was!
Okay, decent job of replacing the convection oven with a microwave oven. We recently purchased a 2005 Classic 28' and my wife wants me to replace the microwave with a convection oven. What I don't understand is that your 2017 Flying Cloud is a really expensive toy; why on earth would you replace your convection oven with a $65 microwave instead of just biting the bullet and getting another convection oven? Resale value alone would more than pay for the replacement in the long run. Cheers
Thank you. Good question. The markup on RV specific products is ridiculous. It angers me so if I can avoid paying their markup, by buying residential products,I will. We bought this airstream and make decisions about it knowing we intend to keep it forever. Resale value isn’t a priority. It’s very freeing to customize it to what we want. It’s a $65 dollar gamble to see how long this microwave lasts. We tend to be on the thrifty side but also prefer quality and will pay more if we think it’s worth it in the long run. Time will tell if our gamble paid off. I don’t think price represents quality in all situations. We had a run of bad luck with appliances recently and these were all expensive/supposedly high quality products. And lastly we just wanted to replace it quickly without having to modify the airstream or buy a new trim kit. We went down to Home Depot and bought the only microwave in stock that fit the existing trim kit. It just happened to be inexpensive. Thanks for watching and asking thought provoking questions. Happy camping!
Nice work, about that time to get back on the road.
Thanks! Absolutely it is! Thanks for watching!
Congratulations for not overpaying for that camper. If more people were like you campers would not be so outrageously expensive.
Thank you!! We pride ourselves on being thrifty around here. You are exactly right!
My second owner airstream is the best money I ever spent and doubled in value.
That’s wonderful. We love ours!!
Fun upbeat video. Are you liking your Lectric bikes? We sure love ours!! Looks like a great park!!
Thank you. Yes we love them! Makes us feel like kids again.
be careful with the tire pressure monitors. they add weight on the end of the stem and cause it to flex. my friend used them on a motorcycle and they caused the stem to crack going down the highway which caused a crash. if you are going to use them consider replacing the rubber stems with stainless steel ones.
I’ve heard of that happening. We’ve been looking for signs of that and so far no signs. I wonder if the valve stems are longer in the ones that have that happen?
Mt trailer was rolled over but it has a Oak hickory hardwood floor and redoing interior light weight
Sorry to hear this. But you are redoing it? That’s great!
Our rule is we have to spend the night in the state while RVing to put a sticker on our RV sticker map. Angie and I have visited 49 states over the years, everyone but Delaware, that said we have not RVed in Alaska, Hawaii, Oklahoma or Delaware. So our map reflects that. We have found that having the map on our trailer opens up a lot of conversation with fellow travelers. Sean👍
Its always been hard for us to see a trailer go, so many memories. Sean
Wood Glue and Toothpicks, a trick I was taught by my grandpa 👍 Still trying to find out your names. Sean
Hey you two...I refer to you as you two because I don't know your names. If you would take a suggestion I would make an intro video, tell us your names and a little about what your your channel is about. 👍 Sean
Hey you two, I received notice that you had mentioned our toilet seal video. THANKS. Its sure fun to know that something we have done has value to others. I danced with your red button and look forward to seeing your shakedown video. We have never owned an airstream but finding an old one and restoring it I think would be a fun project. Safe Travels you two. 🍻 Sean, Angie and Jazz.
Your video was so helpful! Thanks for watching and commenting on so many of our videos and for subscribing. Happy trails!
I PUT A MODERN AXLE ON A 1976 and other modern stuff through my AIRSTREAM VERY CHEAP MODERNIZATION FOR LESS THAN 1/2 of new
That’s awesome!
Love the camper...feels a bit Maconaughey to me 😀 alright, alright.
Love it! Haha!
Wood glue & tooth picks? How resourceful!
My husband’s been using that trick for years. It holds up!
Looks like you guys had a blast!
We sure did! Thanks for watching.
The stainless steel sinks can be cleaned with "BarKeepers Friend" cleaner. Use very, very light wiping pressure, plenty of water and they shine right up. Do not scrub them, wipe lightly.
Thanks for the tip and watching our video!
Fix the fan ASAP. Moisture control and ventilation of bath area very important. Ditch the stovetop cover and get a real nice cutting board to fit the space.
Good tips! Thanks for watching!!
Looks like you all had a great time in Florida. I live in Florida and probably wouldn't want to live anywhere else, except maybe summers when it gets way too hot but you can always jump in and cool yourself down. My support 👍🙂
Thanks for watching! Florida is definitely on the “can’t wait to go back” list!
Perdido Beach looks awesome... except for the rip. Scary! The Whitney Cam was cute!
Thank you! We don’t make it to the beach often and I feel like we found a hidden gem!
Awesome video! I love the Smokey mountains! It's so beautiful up there! I'm hoping to get back in the mountains here soon in my truck camper I just built! You'll have to check it out on my channel! Keep up with the awesome content!
Thank you so much! I will check out your set up for sure. Truck camping holds a special place in my heart. I took my very first trip to the mountains in the bed of an old dodge with a camper top. There was a plywood board that my parents slept on and I had a pallet underneath them. Great memories. Can’t wait to see what you’ve done!
