I see on your website you recomend 54" shaft, Would a 48 work?

48 will work but in rough water 4-7ft swells your prop could come out of the water. If you already own a 48 then use it and see what you think. But if you are buying new I would go with the 54 not really much of a price difference. 👍

The performance of the revolution and the revolt are identical. They follow all of the same patent pending design and engineering principles. 100% balanced, bow centered, and strongly tied to your JetSki. Therefore, it has zero vibration or movement. It does sit about 3 inches closer caught to the driver because it doesn’t have the bumper system. So your release handle is a little closer.

What brands of PWC will my OneOffOutdoors products fit? They will only fit Seadoo manufactured jetskis. The models they fit are; Fishpro Sport Fishpro Trophy Apex 300 GTX GTX Limited RXT-X Wake Pro Explorer Pro and Apex Bumper bar has to be removed. They will NOT fit Fishpro Scout.

So with the grab handle on the Revolt that bar becomes unnecessary 👍

With an auto deploy it’s not a problem. A manual deployment will need to have a cord to pull the lever down because the windshield will keep you from reaching forward to push the lever👍

The quest is just way too much for just a Jetski. Don’t get me wrong my mount would hold it and so would the ski. However it is just unnecessary. Don’t forget that we all quick release these so we can remove them to store while we travel long distances or to put away so someone doesn’t steal them. I personally don’t want to carry a 110 pounds when I can do one for 40 pounds. Plus the huge uptick in price for the quest, no thanks!! My ulterra riptide is saltwater rated. Minn Kota quit making the ulterra. These are a list of other trolling motors that you can use… Trolling motors that fit the Revolution mounting system 1. The Minn Kota Terrova and the Minn Kota Ulterra will fit my mounting system. The new Quest model weighs around 115 pounds. I believe that this model is too large and unnecessary for small boats or jetskis. The Minn Kota Power Drive model will NOT work with this system because the release lever is in the front of the bass. 2. The Garmin Force Kraken will work with my mounting system. 3. The Motorguide XI3 and XI5 will work with my mounting system. 4. The Lowrance Recon will work with my mounting system.

Just an extra tip. Once you put it in you can get on your ski and look down between the steering column and apron. You will see the end of the receptacle that you trimmed back. If it looks like it is hitting some you can see where to trim a small piece if needed. But you need to do this when you snap in place but before you replace all the screws and covers👍

Yes 126sv on my seadoo Fishpro Jetski. I use a Minn kota Ulterra for spotlock. I have a patent pending on the trolling motor mounting system I developed. It was the only way you could actually fish on a Jetski like you would on a boat. It is an awesome way to livescope

Has anyone talked to SeaDoo to see if it would void warranty? You know that most companies will look for any reason to not honor warranties. It's definitely needed but.....

Great comment. I mostly hunt public lands. I am a spot and stalk hunter. I’ll sit in a stand if I’m on a friend’s property. I don’t frown on those who plant food plots or hunt in shooting houses. For me I hunt the way that suits my personality. I’ve made my own longbows and arrows but I don’t frown on those that shoot $1,500 compounds or crossbows. I’ll bait and trap hogs as well as stalk them. Livescope is no different than a high powered rifle equipped with a scope or thermal. It’s all of these same reasons that cause me to fish from a jetski. People say just get a boat. Some people have too much time on their hands and so they look at others that are doing what they wish they were out doing. We should be about learning from one another instead of make sweeping generalizations. Especially when we address our brothers who are our fellow outdoorsmen. When your in a boat with your buddies, if you start kicking holes in it you will find yourself alone wishing you had acted more wisely and less judgmentally. 👍

Thanks for your comment. I would say that your comments would hold true for skilled fishing of certain species like trout or black bass. Where lure style, color and presentation are chosen/tied by the fishermen based on knowledge acquired over years, or in my case 5 decades, on the water. But even those skills have been corrupted by traditional 2D sonar, advanced technology in lures and even in the fishing lines themselves. With that being said live bait or cut bait fishing has never and will never be a skill or fair chase approach to fishing. As a fisherman you don’t have any influence. It’s a just drop the bait and wait. Drop to the bottom reel up two cranks and wait. Drop the bait and jig around blindly bumping structure trying to trigger a response. Sit on a river bank, cast out, drift in, wait on a bite. All of these styles are acts of randomness with no real skills being applied. However keep an open mind and really watch all of my crappie, carp, catfish, red snapper, amberjack, and shark videos. Livescope actually, for the first time ever, introduces skill and sport to certain styles of fishing. Livescope, when used correctly, will allow the fisherman to gather knowledge on fish behavior he otherwise wouldn’t have gained, EVER. Fishing blindly while drowning minnows and jerking jigs is pointless and teaches the fisherman nothing. Livescope now allows you to sight fish just like shallow water trout and bass fishing but you are in deep or zero visibility waters. Now you can see a fish, target that fish and try to get a response. Just like in bass/trout fishing seeing that fish and trying different lures and methods doesn’t guarantee or equal a fish in the boat. Livescope is no different. If you don’t approach a mature fish correctly they will swim away. Immature fish will be caught no matter what we do as fishermen. But I now consistently put mature crappies in the boat, 1 1/2 to 2 pounders all day. Why, because I can now see where they hide and specifically target them, even finesse them. Just like I would a bass I see on a bed. Often times we despise or mock things we haven’t tried or don’t fully understand. I would strongly suggest, to those out there that haven’t fished with livescope, to get with someone who uses it to increase their fishing IQ. The knowledge you will acquire on fish behavior after just one trip will blow your mind. It will embarrass you when you realize just how crude, immature and pointless your whole approach has been towards certain species and styles of fishing. 👍

The Trolli Motor gave us access to areas where other boats have not been able to go. We put up 70 Crappie. The biggest was 2.3 pounds. I will be posting videos on those over the next several days.

That is a really good question. Where that narrow water gap was the boat ramp was only about 50 yards south of that. So the set up is the boat ramp had a channel that was leading you into the original creek channel. The creek bed stays around 9 foot, but over the years the gap that was cut when the ramp was made has started to silt in. You would be running through mud, but that mud will have lots of sticks, debris, freshwater clam shells, etc. this is what makes the trolling motor such a huge advantage. You don’t have to take that risk. With this trolling motor you now have a kayak on steroids basically with your JetSki. 👍

I use the riptide version which are white in color. They are the saltwater version. They are more expensive due to saltwater proofing seals. It’s like that for all manufacturers 👍

No idea why. It definitely doesn’t interfere with anything. You do have to move the rear seat for the install because the platform has to tilt up so that the hooks can insert. Then just reinsert the seat. Also the ski pole cap is not accessible when the deck is on.

Brother that crosses my mind every time. If I’m parked a fairly good distance away I leave my remote at the ramp so it doesn’t lose communication. Technology will let you down at some point so you better have a backup plan. The length of reach if you lose signal is 300’ so you have time to recover the vessel. It’s really the tide more so than the wind that would get you. So life is about choices and choices have risks. So for me I just plan ahead and don’t live life in fear.👍

I use a 50ah. The brand doesn’t matter to me as long as it has an 8-10 year warranty. Look on Amazon for the best price. They are all made in China so all the same for the most part. Also I have the trim motor so it has to be 24 volts. Manual deploy/stow is 12 volts and much cheaper.👍

In freshwater your Garmin will have a range of about 300 feet. And in saltwater It will have about half of that range. So I would say that it would work well for your application. But 60 m would be around its limit. Swell or chop will have no effect at all on your livescope . If you notice in my videos, I run my live scope transducer off of a pole that is on the side of my ski. That never comes out of the water during rough seas. I have used this and water with six and 7 foot swells spotlocked with my trolling motor without any issues whatsoever.

Were there a range of transducers to select from if so which 1 would you recommend for salt water.

I know right. Sometimes my filming is less than desirable. Bonita have teeth so my wife is not crazy about handling them for a good picture. And since they shake like crazy if she just holds the line they cut her off. So it’s footwell to bag ASAP 😂😂

Definitely strong enough. But it’s very tricky. I’ve begged Kim to get a TM but she doesn’t want one. So I have a rope that’s always tied to my rear tow cleat so that keeps her in a straight line with me. Second it has a stainless steel clasp and float on it. So every time we fish spotlocked she has to pull up beside me so I can attach to her orange cord. When not in use I keep my end clipped to my rear seat handle. It’s a hot mess but these are some things you have to do when you fish with a buddy. LOL

Jetski fishing is very cost effective and a great way to enjoy the outdoors. You can remove the fishing components in just minutes. Then you can pull a tube, kneeboard or ski.👍

This is Joe’s ski. Mine was in the shop so I borrowed his for this trip. Mine has the livescope plate mounted to the side gunnel as seen in several of my videos. I also sho in a video of how it’s installed. Joe’s is on aluminum kayak rail that is attached to his gunnel. You can get a 16 inch off amazon for like $30.

Brother she is the real deal. A fantastic Godly wife. She is a Chickasaw Indian and grew up in the woods and on the water.
