You are about 2 weeks out. Once a freight carrier has picked up your product you will be assigned a tracking number by them. Thanks for your order👍

    I never seen a jetski for fishing. What's the point of using a jetski vs a boat?

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors 6 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That’s a great question. I can give you a few reasons why myself and many others have added this pwc to our fishing fleet or made it our only vessel. 1. Cost 20k as apposed to 60-100k 2. Fuel efficiency. I can go all day on 5-8 gallons of fuel. In eco mode I can go 100 miles on 15 gallons of fuel. 3. Ease of hauling, launching and storing. Due to its mass and length a single person regardless of age can handle this craft. Plus I can park it in my garage and not spend 100’s of dollars a year at a storage facility. 4. It’s minimalist, individual and independent way of fishing allows a person to rely and enjoy fishing alone. At the same time you can add all kinds of mods and even join pwc groups much like jeep and motorcycle enthusiasts. 5. Time; it replaced my kayak because I can now go from dock to fishing spot at 50mph. I can now haul it to work with me and squeeze in that quick 2 hours of fishing after work. With the IDF ( debris removal system) and my trolling motor mounting system you can fish very shallow water. So Carl it just really comes down to what each person wants and how those wants dictate their choices. When it comes to cars and boats everyone knows that a minivan and a pontoon are the perfect choices. They haul more people, more gear. They are both great vacation crafts. But many people cringe at owning or diving either one. Just like jeeps and motorcycles in comparison. All of the aforementioned don’t apply to them yet people own and enjoy them. So I would say that if your personality and current lifestyle lean towards minivan/pontoon at this time in your life then don’t get a pwc to fish from. However for me now that my kids are grown and I want to enjoy the water in a cost efficient, fast and independent manner then brother get a Fishpro. If you’re young and have a tight budget due to where you are on your pay scale ladder then get a Fishpro. Watch my channel to see how to get the most out of your craft and start living life one-off 👍

    Loving your content. How did you run the wiring to the trolling motor? What type of connector do you have in the front? I am thinking of doing something like I did with my kayak. I ran 8g in the hull. What type of connectors did you use for the front?

      This is a full video on the components that I’ve added with the trolling motor. In this video it shows two options for the TM receptacle. I have the cheaper of the two but I will be switching to the better waterproof version. I definitely recommend putting that type in the plastic apron just in front of the livewell toggle switch. I would not go through the fiberglass. You will see that as an option in this video. I just installed on a friends ski the apron position. It’s the best. th-cam.com/video/IPfKwTVbc6A/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-UyE8GJQrqEtiNk-

      Thanks. The trolling motor mount finally makes the ski function just like a boat. Having the ability to spotlock over structure and turn off your ski is an absolute necessity. Also since the jetski fisherman is typically solo having this to help load and unload is a real game changer. However a very important feature that you see with my patent pending mount is that it sits right on the nose of the ski and therefore it’s 100% self balancing. As you know an unbalanced jetski is hard to drive, unsafe and exhausting to drive due to constantly having to oversteer. All of these things must be considered when adding this aftermarket product. 👍

    I would have just spot locked at the dock, got the truck and drove my ski on from that point with the remote. One thing I love about my rear mounted trolling motor setup is I can drive it up all the way to the bow stop... I had to do that a few months ago as my battery went dead on me on the water. Trolling motor saved the day.

    What do you think about that GC trolling motor mount?

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors 9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I have two trolling motor mounting systems. The one that is available for sale now is called the Revolution. It is the trolling motor mount and bumper system that you see in the video that you watched. My other system is only a trolling motor mount and does not also serve as a Bumper. It is called the Revolt. This give my customer base two different options on function and price point. Both of my systems are patent pending. They are also both 100% centered over the nose of the ski and are self balancing. This aspect is absolutely crucial. . You can go to my website and see more about the Revolution. www.oneoffoutdoors.com. You can also go back to my TH-cam channel called OneOffOutdoors. There I have multiple videos, showing the Revolution in action. These videos show extreme conditions and how well this trolling motor mounting system performs. I would never attempt this with any offset or rear mount system. But each individual has to choose for themselves what they want. Thank you for your question. I hope this is helpful. th-cam.com/video/NpipSY35HVg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ElGdXCPkcSqdbpgA

      Great news!! I went to my manufacturer today and the welding fixture is finally dialed in for mass production. So building starts tomorrow, powder coating on Thursday with shipments headed out Friday. I will be posting two videos over the weekend. The first will show the production process. This is beyond impressive. The precision that the automated fiber optics laser cuts and copes the tubing with is just incredible. CNC driven tube bending which bends the bumper on multiple planes while it keeps the precut coped ends aligned. Then all the 3/16 aluminum plate is cut to precision with an automated CO2 laser. These are million dollar machines that produce absolutely the most accurate parts for each build. This guarantees that these highly certified aluminum TIG welders are welding structural material not filling in gaps with rod. This creates the strength needed to outperform anything else on the market. The second video will be your very easy to follow installation video. When your Revolution arrives you will also be given a paper copy of these same installation instructions. Thank you again for your patience during this time of transition from single building to precision mass production. I know it’s been tough watching me fish and make these videos. Seeing how the Revolution creates such a safe, calm, quiet and highly productive environment for the Fishpro to perform at a level that you personally have yet to experience. This will 100% change your entire fishing experience. I can’t wait to see all of the pictures and videos you will post. Welcome to the dream. 👍👍👍

Too many people are selling them because of buyers remorse which causes them just to simply not use them. So they get tired of the payment and sell. I really feel that my trolling motor mounting system will dramatically increase the use and fishing performance on the Fishpro. It is truly the one thing that is missing that makes this ski function just like a regular boat. It is an absolute game changer. My mount is the only patent pending 100% self balancing mount on the market. This design it crucial for performance and safety. 👍

    Was wondering how the manual deploying option would work with that mount. Want to keep the weight down as low as possible. In addition it is possible to tie a second small rope to the inside of the deploying mechanism pedal switch in order to unlock it and pull the motor in without having to reach over to push the switch manually.

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Manual deploy works great. I’ve had people ask about a rope and lower pulley to pull down release and I’m sure that would work as well. The mount is made from schedule 40 aluminum so it only adds 13 pounds.

    Awesome video - are you able to charge either of your 12v battery (garmin/livescope/bubbler) or 24v battery (trolling motor) in your ice chest with any induction from the seadoo? Or do you charge them at home? I have the 2024 trophy and was going to just add livescope +2nd garmin and power both with the secondary battery (the one that does NOT connect to the engine) since the 650watt voltage generator will power the battery when driving the seadoo, but wasn't sure if i'd need to get an additional 12v battery.

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน

      Those are great questions. I charge everything at home after every day of use. I have never linked them together to try to get the ski to charge the additional electronics. I’m not saying that it wouldn’t work. However I have had my single battery on my 2021 and my friends double batteries on his 2022 both drained by just the key fob and livewell. This happens because now that you have a trolling motor you can sit for hours on end and fish without ever turning on your motor. As a result your battery can’t do any recharging. So every hour you could run your ski for 5-10 minutes which defeats the whole, I want to fish in peace and not move purpose. Now with that being said the livescope, additional 12 inch chartplotter and trolling motor use massive amounts of energy. I have had them completely drain, when all hooked together to my single 24v, using a 12v step down unit for the 12v units, after about 4 hours of use. So with my current setup I have had no issues at all. I get 8 hours plus. Now with that being said I always pull my key fob as it will drain the starter battery. What I have seen is the built in ski charger is pretty weak. So even with my fob pulls I still need to recharge my main battery after every 3-4 trips. Especially if it has sat for over 10 days. Sorry this was so long but problem solving this battery issue has been quite the task. I’ve been dead in the water more than once and it’s a horrible feeling. Or my extra electronics have died which is also bad because you can’t fish. LOL

    Awesome, do you have your livescope/fish finder system connected to the same battery as the trolling motor? I was wondering if the trolling motor and livescope system are connected to batteries that are also connected to alternator(s), or if you have to charge the entire setup before you to out and “use what you got”.

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน

      So my trolling motor is 24 volt because it has a trim/stow/deploy motor on it. But even if it was a 12v system I would still run a second battery for the livescope/chartplotter. Your livescope uses a massive amount of energy. Also the so called alternator on your ski only charges when your ski is running. So always leave it on its own battery system or you will definitely find your self stranded and dead in the water. I have multiple videos that show different configurations of my battery system over the years. The link here is my latest version for my batteries. It is definitely my best setup so far for all the electronics that I use. th-cam.com/video/KyYBdVI8ir8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=y-S7Qj3b8J08RIB9

      Yes, I developed this out of pure frustration with my ski. Words cannot truly express how this will change your ability to fish. Lower your stress level. It just solved so many problems. My product is the only Patent Pending mounting system that places the trolling motor directly over the nose of the ski. With this mount you are trying to solve problems, not create more by placing it at a different position on your ski.

    Does this keep the nose from standing straight up while at trolling and no wake speeds?

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน

      You actually pose a very interesting question. The trolling motor actually has minimal influence on pushing the nose of your ski down at any speed. What can create that rise in your nose is typically due to your ice chest, being full of bait water. I have a modification video on my channel that will show you how to make an adjustment on the drain tower of your Livewell System. This will reduce the weight of your water by 30 to 40%. Also your VTS button can be used to lower your nose as well, when it is in the down position, this will help bring your nose down as the bucket over your jet will create drag therefore lowering your nose.

    Could you do a video on attaching the attachment points to the multi gear rack and also attaching them to the battery box and bait cooler? I have the multi rack , big yellow bait cooler like Kim’s, and the Academy 22L box like you used to have. I just need some pointers, don’t want to screw anything up and have to buy more. 🤣

    I like your videos, sir, maybe even buy one of your mounts. But it's 2023-24, buy a decent mic set-up so you don't to shout while making your videos. You can afford an Ulterra.

    Great information - would a small portable battery jumper kit be worth while for carrying out on the water? or if this specific issue occurred, the spark plug failure would essential render the seadoo "dead" until you clean the spark plugs?

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน

      We had a small jump pack but I have a bigger one now. But yes once plugs are fouled you are done. The main thing to remember is that your ski should start instantly. If it doesn’t STOP!!! Be patient and give it 5 minutes. Then try again with short wick cranking starts. Don’t stand on the starter. On a side note I’ve noticed that leaving the key fob in keeps all the dash going. So now I pull mine if I’ll be in one spot for longer than an hour without running my motor. Which I do all the time because I have a trolling motor to keep me anchored. Running your motor will recharge your battery but it’s very slow so pull that fob out brother. 👍

    I have this exact ski and a boat, why not just buy a boat?? I’d never spend this effort to modify my jet ski

    • @One-offOutdoors
      @One-offOutdoors หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well for me I’ve owned several boats over the years. At this point my wife and I are retired. We do a lot of dry camping on the beach so it makes an easy double tow as the skis travel nicely behind our 28ft camping trailer. Also we both enjoy our independence and this allows me to go and shark fish on my ski while my wife cruises the bay for reds and trout or just chills on a beach somewhere and reads a book. I can fish all day and travel/troll/fish 50 miles on 7 gallons of fuel. We also have atv and a dirt bike. The skis also replicate that same adventurous style but on the water. This ski allows me the ability to fish pretty much wherever I want as a multi purpose vessel. So I can freshwater bass, crappie, catfish. I can saltwater oil platforms, wrecks, bridges and bays. It’s the perfect multi tool. The price point on both skis is still cheaper than a boat. And for me the modifications are a big part of why I do this. I like the freedom of creating and designing a tailor made vessel exactly like I want. Which is probably why both of our jeeps and both our trucks are lifted and modified as well. It’s just a lifestyle and a life choice.
