For those curious and that missed them, the lurker variant is one of the most prevalent variant that we see in the main show. Rick's first walker kill was a lurker. (After he left the house Morgan and Dwayne were held up in. Hershel was bitten by a lurker in Season 3, Episode 1, as the group are clearing the prison cell blocks. Carl and Michonne encounter some lurkers in Season 3, Episode 12, while they are looking for a picture of Lori so that Carl can show Judith what she looks like. Aaron encounters a lurker while he and Rick are looking for guns on the boat in Season 6. In Season 11, Episode 1, some of the group repel down on a herd of lurkers.

If Sophia survivied, I kinda think it would lead to Carol maybe depending on more ppl and maybe leading to her demise. Or maybe she would be stronger to defend her daughter by any means.

I would like to see Laurent & Ash arriving at the Commonwealth & meeting Rick/Michonne. Although, I'd like to see them send a mission to Europe to help Daryl & Carol, they need some way to find out where they are located.

Us seeing Laurent again is 50 50. The way they ended it they might not even bother showing Laurent and just simply imply that he’s safe. Laurent could make a cameo at the end too but that all depends on behind the scenes stuff.

I’m calling it now, the only time we’ll see Rick is at the very end. They all make their way back to Alexandria and reunite with Rick then close off the universe. I don’t see Andrew Lincoln turning up for any of their bs storylines. The fact that they changed the Rick reveal tells me that Rick either won’t show up at all or just show up at the very end.

Rick is not leaving his family to "save" Daryl and carol lmao, Andrew Lincoln is not coming back again to do that silly storyline 🤭

I honestly would prefer it if they did another season or two in France. They had good characters and they couldn’t even use them properly. Madame Genet and Lou San deserved their own individual seasons to shine and we needed more time with Isabelle and Codron. How can they successfully write off so many good characters in the span of only 6 episodes? Realistically it was never going to work out. They shouldn’t of spent time setting this world up in France if it’s only going to go flames up unceremoniously. There’s no more long term planning in this franchise. If they knew from the start that France wasn’t going to last long then they should’ve just introduced 1 villain who stays for two seasons and dies. Reduce the allies as well to maybe Daryl +4 others tops. They had too much story to try contain in only a season. Carol arriving didn’t help either.

I personally enjoyed S1 much more, there was just more promise to it, we were promised to see another part of the world, walker variants, the post credit scene at the end of World Beyond, etc, when you think of S2, the only world lore hint we get is that England appears to have survived the initial fall from what those guys in the tunnel said, i hate how Isabelle's fate was butchered, and i hate how they wrote Codron's story, even tho i think he's gonna comeback eventually, i'd give this season probably around a 7.5/10 and give S1 a 8/10.

They at least didn't kill the title character off. Not like Madison in Fear S4 until that was retconned at the end of Fear S7.

The action is not an excuse for the writing and pace. There's zero stakes. I watched Apocalypse Z last night. It wasn't great but it was slightly more fun than this. I just think completely new stories with new characters is a way better idea. There's no character journey now. Other than the physical one. Tales of... Wasn't great but it was an idea. The problem really sits with the same people making the same decisions. We need new writers with new ideas. It's stale.

Carol has lied about a lot of things, but she was telling the truth about her PTSD returning to haunt her. They clearly have rejigged the timelines on the spinoff series. I think Carol left just before Rick returned. What I'd like to see in S3 --- is a clip of Ash & Laurent arriving in the Commonwealth & meeting Rick & Michonne. That would spark all kinds of possibilities for future events.

They 100% retconned it. I didn’t hear Sofia’s name past s5 in the main show but years later they do this whole thing. If she wasn’t lying then that whole teaser was just stupid. If she was lying it’s still stupid bc why does she feel the need to lie to Daryl? He’s not a stranger to her and he’s not an idiot by this point so I’m not sure why that would make sense. I can understand her lying to the others but they’re past that stage of lying to each other. This is what happens when you stretch a story past its limits. Loads of complications coupled with loads of retcons and random changes. Just tell a complete story and end it. You don’t see Breaking Bad with this many inconsistencies let’s be honest. (Soz to be negative. Twd isn’t the worst television of today but sadly it’s dropped from its peak. I’m half interested to see what it’s going to be like in s3, hopefully it’s not rinse and repeat storylines).
