That wasn’t even remotely a sample of everything that was in there. There’s not doing your homework, and then there’s not doing your homework to the degree you don’t even know how to pronounce the name of the place you’re visiting. Not a big deal, not the first time I’ve heard that, but DiNic’s aside, there’s lots of better, must try options to try at the Market. Hershel’s is an easy one. Termini Brothers for cannoli, then there’s Beiler’s and Bassetts, among other places. As for the roast pork review, that was tough to watch. Rapini is a bitter green, it isn’t for everyone. They offer spinach at DiNic’s these days as an alternative, it provides a bit more balance, it’s whet John’s Roast Pork has always offered. If you’re on the fence, start there. As for cheesesteak, I’d go to south Philly, Angelo’s or John’s Roast Pork. I’ve heard good things about Woodrow’s. Skip the market for that. Roast pork sandwiches, they are awesome, but if you don’t get it, it’s for those in the know.
