What an influential and wonderful writer Edna O'Brien was! And this documentary looks like it will do her justice. Can't wait to see it! Kudos to all involved.🥳
Gorgeous... cant wait to see this!
What an important, engaging and inspiring documentary, have told many people about it

Outstanding film.

just a wonderful film ...seeps into your heart and stays with you
I shudder to think of the people that would pay to watch this beige bogger bollocks
Liberal lefty Irish establishment BS. No doubt the liberal lefty main stream media will be telling us how great this is.
This woman started all this immigration shit. Thanks to do gooders like her Ireland is now a complete dump.
Why destroy this country with mass immigration ???
I think they stood there and showed respect to the people who believed
This woman ruined Ireland 🇮🇪 with her open border/mass migration policy, creating a vacuum causing Native Irish to become 2nd class citizens in our own country, with mohamad now the most popular boys name in Galway, soon the Native Irish will be bred out of existence and Sharia will become law, destroying all that has been achieved for woman's and LGB rights here in Ireland 🇮🇪 only a Nationist type government can put the Native Irish first and reverse these Commy WEF agenda,
As a high ranking member of the United Nations Mary Robinson is responsible for the New Plantation of Ireland and the 2020 fraud and subsequent medical proceedure resulting in many Irish dying.
Reading comments do any of you realize she opened the flood gates to Ireland CHEAK your history BEST WOMEN PRESIDENT OF IRELAND WAS MC A LEESE NOT FK ROBSON
Best President of Ireland was Paddy Hillery . No liberal lefty preaching . Just got on with the job. The worst would be a toss up between Robinson, McAllese or Higgins . I'd give it to McAllese cause she has never shut up since on her big fat pensions. Adi Roche would have made a great President
YOU OPENED FLOOD GATES TO IRELAND AND WHEN IT GOT TO MUCH YOU RAN TO THE UN 😡 LEAVING BEHIND A DISASTER FLIM ABOUT YOU ID RATHER DIE THAN GO SEE THIS YOU WERE A FK JOKE COULDN'T PUT PLASTERS ON THE DAMAGE YOU DONE COULD YOU NA YA RAN TO THE UNITED NATIONS COWARD 😡😡😡😡😡
She was a very special lady without a doubt and its a sad thing that we don't have more people like her in politics, perhaps our nation wouldn't have the issues that we have today if more of our politicians had her qualities
God bless her she's looking good, and very good worker for Ireland
How can we watch it??
Sheikh Mohammed should award her his countries highest honour and 1 million dollars for ruining his daughter.
Can you get a shot of Mary making turd?
She should be ashamed of herself because she was the very person that started all this illegal immigrants coming into this country with her candle in the feck in window shameful and disgraceful
A DREADFUL LEFT WING INTELLECTUAL DESTROYING IRELAND
Ballywalter IS A TOTAL SHITHOLE....
A complete waster🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Dialogue veers from cod Victorian to modern completely at random ..! At least they might aim for consistency. Also the pace is glacial ! Lots of moody shots and splendid interiors . Is it atmospheric or just a case of padding out a short story to a full length film..? But Acting and Direction WERE faultless.
This is an incredible film for what Dónall Ó Héalaí rightfully won awards as lead actor.
looks good, adding this to by tbw list
Thats about leadership and such a system which makes that growth possible - cool
My favorite Irish Woman. She is special. Happy Birthday Mary. 🎂80 🥂
42 minutes into the movie and it was great. Then, it gets very homosexual. Immediately turned the TV off, what a disappointment.
Is it coming to Japan ? I really want to watch it in the theatre.
Poor johnny 😢😢😢
I know 😭
he's definitely the tragic hero of the film, left and unwelcome on his return, forever feeling alone
What brilliant acting
I think the whole point of this movie was to subtlety bash Catholicism.. main protagonists are portrayed as virtuous, intelligent, and morally upright and the first lines spoken by them in the movie are “We are non believers” while asking their elderly neighbour “Why do you go to mass if you don’t believe” to which his response is “looking at other women and some other superficial reason”. At the end when the others are saying the Rosary at the removal for the dead neighbour the director of this movie makes such a point of having these “virtuous” protagonists shown standing their saying nothing acting condescendingly above those saying the Rosary, a real show of pride I thought. It’s such a worn out, stale and boring concept at this stage to bash old Catholic Ireland and that’s what this movie set out to do successfully. Perhaps a movie bashing the current woke culture the same way old Catholic Ireland is constantly bashed can be made? Unlikely
Reminds me of that classic poem. 'But I useta see her up the chapel when she went ta Sunday mass ... and when she'd go up to receive I'd kneel down there and watch her pass, the glory of her ass.'
bashing catholicism is just trendy these days, maybe one day it will pass, or these people will disappear into the void and there will be nothing left of them
weirdo
