What colors?!! C'mon. A photo? Swatches? Anything?
I hope they don't come back
Here's the biggest advice, GO SEE YOUR PARENTS. My brother lived 2 hours away and never tried to come visit. I finally made him come home one Christmas and he was floored at how bad our mom was. If you genuinely cannot afford to get home more than once a year, then video call and spend more than a cursory 15 minutes talking to them. Ask them when was the last time they had a chance to do a deep clean, go to the store, etc. etc. etc. Y'all don't give them enough TIME and that's why you don't know. (In most cases.) My aunt and uncle talked to their dad so often they could tell via the phone that he wasn't well. They went to see him. They made a connection with his girlfriend and her kids. She helped keep an eye on him until he was too far gone to live on his own. They they moved him to a skilled facility near them. They were able to be there when he passed. You are NOT too busy for your parents, you just do not prioritize them. And because they love you and dont want to be a burden, they demand as little as possible.
Should have a follow-up to show positives, negatives, financial impact, etc. Things that can help sell the idea of bringing large tournaments to municipalities and counties in the future.
Came down to Lynchburg from Northern Virgina for Worlds. Had a great time in the city, really enjoyed the Riverfront, downtown Market and our AirBnB Loft downtown. The event was really fun and well run.
Vickie? I am a 61 year old disc golfer from Wisconsin. I really wish I could attend this years event. I do wonder though, why the world championship is NOT the very last event of the season? Thank you for bringing this event to Lynchburg...I hope the weather is going to be great and little to NO WIND all week Lol's
Great job ladies (and Chris). We're so proud to be a part of the Miss Virginia Volunteer Program. What a great group of leaders.
Just adoring how God likes to plan and then have those like yourselves share the testimony for His Glory! I'm a Realtor, looking at properties this morning, and happen to make a "connection" through some research into this video. Viewing your video comes at a time when I'm personally going through some incredible back to back challenging personal and business seasons. As I continue to be open to "what is next" as His will it's amazing where the encouragement can come from. So anyhow, thank you, and I'm grateful for your story! Blessings, Chris
Amen! This a beautiful episode. Recently, my husband and I moved to Lynchburg coming from a large city. We had a lot of fears leaving our church, friends, and family. We moved to Lynchburg not knowing what God had in store for us. I am truly grateful to live in Lynchburg. I didn’t understand it then , but I am slowly understanding now. I am glad that The Lord places His children in the role of leadership to help this city. He’s leading us all back to Him. My heart is for the people in Lynchburg and seeing many people are going without hurts. I agree the church(body of Christ) should help the community together. That’s what we are called to do. I pray the Lord continues to cover and protect everyone. Jesus loves you! Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!
❤
My mom was a resident at R&P Leesville Rd from May 2011 to May 2016. I remember Patrick helping with the activities. I remember him helping the residents plant flowers, something my mom loved. She passed away only a few days later. The Daytime Adult Day Center sounds wonderful! I wouldn't mind seeing that. I've already told my children that if I ever need long term care, I want to go to Runk & Pratt. We are so lucky here in Lynchburg to have you. You've certainly made a difference in the lives of the elderly and their families. Thank you.
