@@ibrahimadam7467 that's an awesome reply I am very very grateful
Nice
wow crazy blast from the past
Useful info. Of course there should be a little tool on the inside of the removable panel to adjust the high/low fire but it can go missing after a year or two.
@@martinwright7093 starting to like the Bosch boilers more now
Love your no fluff videos mate thanks for taking the time to make them. You can always tell when someone really knows their stuff by how simply they are able to explain themselves. Are there any particular courses or books you would recommend for gas engineers who are hoping to improve their fault finding skills?
I cant remember what size the oil hose's are they come with? Any ideas 😂? Ive got to service a few.
@@loving-plumbing sorry I can't remember dude
Great Work 👍
@@dhallam56 thanks, trying my best, happy new yesr
These are the important things. Cheers Johno.
@@robbie2awesome thanks mare
That's great.
@@robbie2awesome happy new year dude

Happy New Year Johno! If it doesn't use flame rectification what does it use? Just a pure DC current using the flame as a conductor?
@@robbie2awesome heat sensing
@@robbie2awesome hope u had a good Xmas mate x
Does anybody know a company who can restore an ancient bell libra eye level grill cooker ?
@@Hot_Cold_Blue sorry I don't know
Nice work. More older boiler videos please. Like these. Thanks.
@@b1h2u3p4 I've another one next week
I'm pulling one of these out next week. It must have done 25 years +, you won't get that from any modern boiler 😅
I got a glow worm Easicom 2 28c Exact same as your demo 👍🏻
@@dazz180 good boilers
@ Not at the minute mate No faults showing Hot water kept ramping up and down so changed dhw heat plate so that stopped it but the water is only getting to 40 degrees with a thermometer but the boiler says 60 degrees and I think the heating isn’t as hot as it’s saying
@ cud be NTC try turning it alittle
@@warriorsofwarmth I’ve replaced both with new
Love these boiler repair videos.
@@jameswilson2899 thanks very grateful more to come
This is absolutely brilliant. Great work.
@@-ChannelZero- thanks that's made my day

I have F43 code flashing, what is the reason?
It's the flux capacitor
lol never cleaned the gas jets
Heat source imatreacle so let’s try a Heat Pump because mine is costing a complete fortune it is a minefield haha excuse after excuse my Combi not a problem, too hot turn it down too cold turn it up.
Can you use an MDPE fitting with a flexible vinyl hose pipe 32mm with an insert? Or it's got to be something more rigid ?
@@_el.guapo_ temporary I suppose
Hi - Having issues with water temperature rising and lowering on the showers and hot water. Glow worm 28c. Can’t see anything on settings . Water set at 55. I guess I need to call plumber? Or is there anything in settings I can try? Thanks

50.4 divided by 12 ain’t 0.24 ? Am I missing something
He says 12 divided by 50.4 not the other way round
My boiler is 40 years old wrs 440 better than all the modern combis oh and I was a gas engineer for 38 years if it ant broke or unsafe keep it my mum and dads boiler concorde companion dad fitted it 19 72 still going easy to fix serviced it 6 months ago........ Now that what you call sustainable not like the rubbish they make now
@@nothingtoseehere999 they handle dirty water better too!
@warriorsofwarmth the water in both heating system is ok if it piped up correctly it will last forever
I still service a few of these. Yes they are inefficient but very reliable. I'm not sure you'd recover the install cost of a replacement in gas savings over 1 year though, more like 5-8 years, and 10 years after that you would have to replace it again. But to be fair, this one was in quite poor condition, needed replacing.
@@martinwright7093 yes their the most reliable, I miss the open flue hide aways! The roar of the burner!
Hi great vid. I wanted some advice. I have a vaillant turbomax fully working but I'm wondering is it costing me to run it in energy costs. Should I replace it?
@@arfanjhangir8465 still a great boiler and durable, I suppose a condensing boiler with a Smart Control would save u, if ur going to buy a boiler be quick before the boiler tax system
Ive had my Kingfisher MF for 22 years and other than dry joints on the board, its been bullet proof. I expect it to be around for some years to come 😊
@@lemmykilmister450 they are brilliant, might be a good idea to reserve some spares I've heard gas valves going for £550 now
@@warriorsofwarmth 100% I've had a gv and fan in the garage for 10 years 😂
Ive taken a few of these off the wall, they weigh a ton.
Hi, thank you so much, i have the foultcodes f54 and f28 for 2 days now and the hair dryer worked!!

What sort of heating system does it need?
HeatingGeek you legend! Where have you been? Did you change from domestic to commercial, is it worth doing?
@@robbie2awesome you should meet Oli, he's a legend, nicest guy ever
@@robbie2awesome I enjoy commercial more. Less stress from customers. :-)
@@HeatingGeek nice big plant rooms to work in XD
@@warriorsofwarmth I salute him!
Shocking work!!
Click bait. Customer paid peanuts. No sympathy
how you know she paid peanuts?
lolz hilarious, that's the worst pipework I've ever seen either and I've seen some horrendous stuff. Yeah gotta shield your pipes in concrete, there was fatal accident in Glasgow with gas pipe buried in concrete that wasn't shielded, it was commercial size too :( You did awesome helping the lady out!
@@robbie2awesome I've worked in Scotland loads over the years, seen some rough installs there
@@warriorsofwarmth yes only good thing is we don't get scale. XD
Thanks for the video. I've got an 050 which is stuck at 59 on the screen and has a triangle symbol flashing. Heating works, but hot water doesn't. If the heating is on, the hot water does get warm. Any ideas? It's still under warranty, but the company who fitted it don't appear to have done a great job so hoping to have an idea of what to expect whilst I find a trustworthy local engineer.
@@SuperVitz plate blocked
This is a great design, thank you for sharing, it has given me a more comprehensive understanding of heat pump systems and the cylinder with buffer underneath.
@@peterwu4797 ur welcome
Great tool!! What size pipe did you use? For what size foam? How deep is the center v notch?
@@joshtaylor3107 it's down pipe, I've also just bought a mitre saw and block
My homeluxe strips have an adhesive strip along one side, but I'm not convinced it's better than sealing and sticking it with good quality sillicone adhesive, so I'm removing them.
@@MrNaKillshots you can't beat decent silicone
@@warriorsofwarmth Saying that, it was a bastard getting the adhesive strip off so kept it on and used plenty of silicone to protect all around. It looks fine, to me
really great knowledge thanks Johno

@@warriorsofwarmth I am just humble installer of gas appliances. I actually installed a gas cooker for a deaf couple yesterday. The organisation that arranged it had an interpreter too, was really great.
