      Dear friend, The state of the system is described in the video in terms of arrival and departure of customers. The system can move from a state n to n+1 or n-1 with a single birth or death. If you observe the system over infinite time, the difference between entry into a particular state 'n' to exit from state'n' is one.

      Since the arrival of customers is probabilistic, expected no. of customers is the average number of people who enter a Queuing system per unit time. The arrival rate is 'Lambda' and service rate is 'Mue'. The ratio is the utilization factor which indicates the proportion of time the server is busy.
