My ears are already pierced and have been for a while. So, I guess all I do I check out the links you have for starting my ear stretching journey? Btw, your very pretty and have an amazing voice. This is such an old video now I see.. I am just curious if you know.. I was just on Kaos looking for some of their Silicone.. I picked out a few pair.. but then I noticed something that makes it sound that you have to order 2 of each to have a pair? So essentially I had chosed about 34 dollars worth of silicone but that would really be about 68 dollars if I am understanding correct.. 68 dollars for 3 pair of silicone just doesnt sound right does it? I messaged them for clarity as well but who knows, maybe you will see this before they see the message I sent them! Thank you and great video. I have watched a couple now and enjoy!

Those big ear weights you have. The rule I've read before is ear weights won't stretch your ears after wearing them for a day but recommends you only wearing ear weights every 2 weeks. Urban Body Jewelry has it written on their site and has a youtube video saying it's okay to wear ear weights weekly as long as you swap em' out with plugs consistently. Me personally I would only wear ear weights once every 2 weeks. I hardly wear ear weights but to me that's a safe bet.

I'm at a size 25mm, to anyone who's wondering if ur gonna go up to a bigger size than 16mm stick to wearing ear hangers and ear weights if u want something dangling from your ears as far as jewelry goes because when you're at a 19mm and up you can start to really hear the material. For example I got these tunnels with big ass swords hanging and when I wear them I can hear the metal sword swishing and man is it loud! The sword ear weights are alot better, they're quiet, they look cool, you can feel them due to their weight on your lobes and they catch people's eyes and still freak people out lol.

Glass spiral tapers are the best...they do get heavy above 00g, though...

I just got my ears done once again, I haven't had my ears gauged since i was in my 20's. I was hankering to get them done again. When, I was at the shop, my ears totally didn't fully close, which I honestly thought they would. They tried inserting a steel metal short pole type thing and It went through both ears just fine. So, insterad of starting all over, I'm at a 4 right now, which is so weird. I guess I could have gone bigger, but she and I thought a 4 would be fine to start off with right now. When, I was in my early 20's I rushed and stretched my ears out way to quickly cause i was in a rush and having fun, I ripped the backs of both sides and it sucked. It hurt like a bitch, they stunk, stuff was coming out it wasn't good. very senstive to touch well for me anyways. I'm 40 now, which I'm happy I don't look my age which is great. Who knows how long I"ll have my gauges. Maybe it's a phase, but for now I'm happy I got them done again. Just wish my anatomy would not have my ear lobs stick up a little bit when I have my gauges in. rad background tune... needs a real live action flick movie.

If you're going to use the taping method, make sure to use ptfe tape or bondage tape. They don't have an adhesive and in the case of bondage tape are made for use on skin. Make sure you're replacing the tape and cleaning your plugs and ears daily.

silicones look so cute and fun and i cant wait to go to a 2G to start to use them.

For me what I do with tapers I slide them in until I can't slide them in anymore Put the stoppers on And then I leave it alone until I feel like I can put it in a little bit more without hurting So I'm not an actual pain

I bought tapers from hot topic (14g-4g) and I'm currently at the second set of tapers in the kit. What do I do if I don't have plugs yet? And how long should I be keeping my tapers in?

Actually you CAN use tapers- not everyone experiences a blowout if they do it the right way I just started stretching my ears with them with no problem at all- it's not for everyone tho

I think I have survivors bias, I love using acrylic tapers (I also am very good at listening to my body). After I use the tapers I immediately put a stainless steel tunnel in. ALSO AQUAPHOR IS BETTER THAN ANY OIL OUT THERE

I just started stretching my ears the night before, I have an acrylic kit.. I got one through fine but on my left ear the taper got stuck halfway through.. I can’t get it out, so I figured I’ll just let it sit to get used to the stretch and then take it out and dead stretch when I can.. any thoughts? I’m at 14g

I have 8g tappers only time i skipped was 14g to 10 then 10g to 8g. Reason being they didnt have 12g or 9g. Personally i use tappers cause they're easily available. I am going to buy a stretch kit they come with acrylic tappers and plugs.

They sell glass plugs, that’s what I swear by when stretching past 0. They go in 1mm increments, very comfy and easy to clean. They make stretching with steAm or after the shower a breeze. I order from arctic buffalo

Also they also have acrylic tapers that doesn’t have the bump

Correction. You can wear acrylic tapers as jewlery but only in moderation as they are light weight

Wat if it’s been a week Ive just started my journey I’ve started I’ve struggled with 10g it’s been a week now do I take my tunnels out? And clean them now will they go back in

If my ears are already stretched and I use dead stretching and plugs (and I get a proper stretch) can I use a taper of that size for jewelry? I just really like the look of the taper

What size are you at in this video? That is probably my final goal!
