For the first project it might be worth trying the DMC etoile threads rather than Light Effects, if you still want sparkle. They feel much more like normal threads.

Ok so this is weird. I started at the beginning of your stitchy videos and I had actually watched them a long time ago. It didn't have the red bar showing I watched them but the Like thumb was already clicked. I watched the videos to this point and it all came back lol. Idk What happened but I look forward to watching the new to me videos from here on. I hope your enjoying my videos as much as I'm enjoying yours!

Yay! I finally had a chance to watch your backlist! Your crochet is so pretty!

That is so obnoxious when they put stickers smack dab in the middle of the cover. You can try blasting it with a hair dryer on high for about 60 seconds. That usually makes sticky stickers come right off.

As for books, if you like epic historical fiction with some romance, check out Sara Donati’s Wilderness series. She just published a new one that you could read out of xorder, but the whole series is so good that I recommend starting at the beginning.

I just heard your comment that you love octopi. Have you read Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt? I read it last year. It was a 5 star read!! If you can get your hands on the audiobook, it was expertly narrated. I highly recommend!

The baby stitch is adorable. Love your variety of stitching. I enjoy your book reviews. I only do audiobooks now. I get most of them from Cloud Library and Libby. There’s always a wait list on the audio books. I’m going to check on the ones you recommended. Recently finished The Teacher from Freida McFadden which led me to read others of hers. Hope your surgery went well. I’ve had injections twice in both hands for trigger fingers and surgery is going to be the next step. Which I’m putting off as long as I can. Haunted

I just finished reading "The Hidden Life of Cecily Larson" by Ellen Baker which was fascinating about genealogy and circus life in the 1930s. And I'm currently reading "The Princess of Las Vegas" by Chris Bohjalian which is shaping up to be a terrific read much like his other books. Animal

Your sunflower farm looks great . I really like the green fabric that you chose. I love how you have kitted all your new starts they are beautiful. Right now I’m am reading Hello Beautiful. Not sure how I feel about it yet everyone assures me it gets better. Lisa Jewel has a new one out None of this is true and Shari Lapina Everyone here is lying was a good book also. Hi Tara, glad to see you are back. I love the candy corn pattern, even though I don’t like candy corn. But I hear you on the cold Reese’s cup. I’ve been doing that for years. I like to freeze them during the summer months. I’m trying to learn how to crochet. Failing on the granny squares but I’m not one to easily quit. I’ll attempt it again in a few months.

I enjoy your updates very much. I, too, am a reader. I replaced books with cross stitch in the last couple of months. I usually read about 300 books a year. Not this year. 😂 My fave fabric so far is 18ct aida.
