@@chinmayrasam V / W / U shaped tuning has no scientific meaning nor it does have a defination where someone can describe certain value propositions where it would fit the most. That's why I don't use these vague terms now to describe any tuning. I have explained the tuning in two parts where it shouldn't leave any confusion I guess. Leaving this aside. It is closest to a U shaped IEM ( Elevated Bass and treble w/ Recessed mids but not too much where it ignores it by a lot ).

If you can mark it lower, at like $15 then I would say the probability of high custom decreases. But at the end of the day, it's a pure luck game.

Totally different approach to the sound. They excel in different things too. If you want Tech and love treble , go for Estrella. If you love warmth and sweet sounding IEM , get Megafest.

@@audiowithargha is Estrella tapemod more detailed than Mega5est? I mean truly detailed in the mids and actual instruments and not the fake perceived detail from boosting treble. Cause Mega5est has ESTs and 20k more expensive.

@@chinmayrasam Ahh, components doesn't work this way. Yes Estrella is more detailed than the Mega-fest. Although , resolution might be a tie but due to perceived response , Estrella sounds way more resolving.

Take an Instrument and try to listen as much nuance as you can. Ringing/Fall-off/Trailing Edge/Micro&Macro Contrast/Texture/Unrefinements -> All of this is under details. Resolution is simply - how many instruments/elements it can project at the same time & how it handles complex tracks. These two words are problematic and they are subjective and not defined properly. This is the only way out according to me. ( Do watch DMS video on details)

Tonally very different. Subbass is better in Estrella Mids sre better in Cantor. Resolution & Details Retrieval is way better on Cantor. Where the soundstage is a bit more spacious on the Estrella, Cantor is more accurate in localisation. They are not comparable.

If you're enjoying your IEM nothing matters. Not even a single reviewer on this planet. If you have money you can spend , get something like K11 / Dawn Pro. They will give you a substantial upgrade.

@@deepakbrijwasi2914 Hi, no I didn't forgot. I actually skipped that one since EW200 needs to retire and I don't want to pay more attention to it. Indian Audiophile Companies know that Indian Consumers are not that updated with the releases, so they keep forcing upon deals. The deals I showed in the Video , have my rec. EW200 being too unstable, doesn't have my recommendation.

Hi , I haven't tried that IEM. I will try to review it as well in future.

I own both. They graph almost identical through 3k. Even though the bass graphs the same, the bass is bigger and more forward in the Doscincos. The Estrellas are bit brighter and wider, larger soundstage. The new super tweeters used elevates the treble higher in your head. It’s a real treat and a fantastic gaming iem. So I say a true basshead should def have the Doscincos and the Estrellas are a great addition to a basshead collection. It has the most dimension of all my iems.

When you say doscinco has more bass do you compare with estrella stock or estrelle with tape mod ? If you had to pick only one iem upon all your iems which one would it be and why ? Thanks

@@amanieux these two, depending on what I’m listening to and for the reasons I said above. It used to be Meteors. These Ziigaats may ruin your relationship with your favorite iems. Oh and I would never tape mod the Estrellas. It’s perfect as is
