The merger with aol killed wcw. Ted not being in full control ended WCW. The nwo being shoved down everyones throat and eric not being able to pivot lost them the "war". This however didn't effect the viability of the company. Vince russo , eric Bischoff, hulk Hogan all sucked but they didnt kill the company.
When people thought the world would end in the year 2000. I remember 😂
John Edwards being Clinton without the erection, hahahahahahaha! Boy that aged like milk funny as it was. :)
Underrated one of the best.
Godzilla would be looking up at the sky.
Brock Lesnar & Bill Goldberg verses The Road Warriors would've been a great dream match.
austin was drinking at the time big time
Rip Bobby. Hope he got to do everything he wanted to do in life.
Please don't try this at home, school or anywhere else.
Waiting for the modern day version of Rick!!!
No fly zone was a good one 😊
This song got me so amped up to play the game 🤘
I used to sit and just listen to this for a min before playing 😂
6:35 Baron has a birds eye view of the Road Warriors vs The Crowd. A brawl erupted on the walk to the dressing room. The Warriors had stirred up intense emotion as they beat the young Hennig. They attacked Ellering and the Warriors, but you already know who prevailed.
I kind of like this one better than the Royal Rumble SNES theme
Holy shit a headlines video I somehow haven’t seen
back when wrestling was actually good and back when both brock and rock were my favorite superstars
80-90 wrestler they are real deal
6:37 is that a Doctor Who monster from the 70's????????
Me when somebody asks me who my favourite Stone Ocean character is.
i want him
Is that Jason Lee?
After this, I lost respect for Steve Austin. I seen what he was. He was just an ego maniac. He wanted everything to be his way and I don’t care how popular he was in the 90s. He still wasn’t the most famous wrestler of all time the NWO was huge Hogan was huge. Goldberg was making waves with his undefeated streak sting with his crow gimmick was getting major crowd reactions. Steve Austin thinks wrestling was all about him and how he made it popular. No it was popular long before he was around….
It was 2002 Stone Cold Steve Austin was past his prime Vince McMahon as much as I don’t like him he’s not stupid. He seen that the writing was on the wall and Stone Cold Steve Austin was becoming less relevant in 2001 and the following year 2002 he wasn’t what he was in the late 90s During the attitude/Monday night war era he was severely injured with the neck problem. He had two knee braces on his in ring career was over and the WWE didn’t need him anymore. They had a very stacked roster with triple H Kurt angle, Brock Lesnar edge Chris, Benoit, Chris, Jericho, and Randy, Orton, John Cena and Bautista not yet stars but a year later they became bigger so at this point, they didn’t need Steve Austin and the rock was pretty much gone from the WWE to do movies so they didn’t have him anymore but they had a great roster. Steve Austin was just a whiny bitch and he also refused to wrestle Hulk Hogan at WM18 which would’ve been big and he could’ve retire after that match with his legacy and tact, but he refused and during this time he was an alcoholic and addicted to steroids, and he was beating up his wife Deborah
I'm not gonna lie.I always wanted a rapper to freestyle off this beat
I miss conezy
As somebody who grew up and was used to the IRS / Money Inc. Genesis Royal Rumble version of the theme, this adaptation slaps pretty hard.
Around the time Richard Roeper left in 2008, let alone when this program (under the title of “At the Movies”) ended in 2010, TH-cam critics were starting to become a thing if I’m not mistaken. As for these two critics, no offense, but I could see why they wouldn’t have clicked with audiences. The two of them don’t seem to contrast with one another. The clashes between Siskel and Ebert were a huge part of why the program stood out to viewers back in the 80’s and 90’s. That said, I gotta say, Phillips and Scott did a great final tribute. Also unpopular opinion I’m sure, but I like the theme they used this season the best.
Should've left well enough alone with Richard and Michael.
Ted Turner was a billionaire. Those contracts didn't affect him in the slightest 😂😂😂
I remember this match I remember one time the Road Warrior put the Baron on the stretcher one time... Road Warriors was thee tag team rather good or bad.... What a Rush !!!! 💪👊
Vince was WRONG! forcing Bret to lose to his rival in his home land of Canada because you think he’s gonna jump ship to WCW when HE WASNT is beyond me!!! I wish Bret and Vince would’ve had a better understanding before this screw job took place 💯💯💯
Wcw championship. Work maber
That Kurt Shane match was insane in real time. 😮💨😮💨😮💨
RIP Animal & Hawk! Greatest tag team of all time.
hogan destroyed wcw, just like everything else he does he destroys it
No he didn't. I get he's an ahole but stop it.
I had this on video tape in the late 80's, bought it at the store.
Bobby was my guy. Always had me cracking td up on commentary & as a manager. 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Last month for the rock before leaving for Hollywood before Hollywood Rock
1993!!!
27:34 love that music at the end of every Ebert and Roeper show!!
Houle & Tremblay ....yep how to create a faulty foundation for their new rink.
My mum was at the Yvette rally with my godmother.....& best friends sister saw the beatles.
Wow commercials with white males.....& white females. Oh except for that basketball commercial....ironic as it was created in mtl by & for white men.
I was there in 75 also N.Y Eve
Montreal has won 25 Stanley Cups....not 24.
No, it's 24. 1 before the NHL existed and 23 in the NHL. 1916, 24, 30, 31, 44, 46, 53, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 65, 66, 68, 69, 71, 73, 76, 77, 78, 79, 86, & 93
@danbratten3103 No it's 25 as in the 1919 N.H.L stanley Cup final between mtl & Seattle ended in a tie due to the influenza epidemic.... Under Cup Trustee rules the league which held the Cup ( which was the N.H.L as the Toronto team won it the year before ), it was theirs to lose the ownership of. Since montreal won the N H.L title ....it was theirs to lose...but as the cup final between mtl & Seattle ended in a tie Mtl ~ Montreal still held the title to the cup ( 1919 ) & never relinquished it.
I was there that night.
Thank goodness I was nearly a teen when Undertaker first surfaced in the WWF! He would have legit scared me if I was a little kid and saw his original form.
Woowwwww i’ve been thinking of this intro theme for 30 years
The reason why stone cold quit wwe immediately in 2002 because when he found out he will going to lose to Brock lesnar, he had enough and left. Honestly in my opinion if he was booked to win against Brock lesnar, then this dream match would’ve happened
No Fly Zone!
June 2003, I was nearly 14 and had my first true love i was visiting at this same time period. Playing gta vice city, sneaking out at night to her house and riding my bike home to the sunrise. Those were the good old days.
