Hi Ross. Yes I ran it but was not in great shape for it. It took some time to recover afterwards. It was organised by a company Sport for Television who organised the Tour of Britain cycle race at the time. The athletics agent John Bicourt was the race director
@@davemansbridge4448 Amazing. I remember following the race back then but completely forgot about it until I saw it pop-up on TH-cam. I've just found the race reports in Athletics Today on Ebay. Was 1990 the one and only edition? Cheers. Ross.
@@thestreakpodcast Yes it was the only edition. Even though it was a big success, Sun Life decided not to sponsor it the next year. I am surprised no other organisation has got involved since.
