It's not cheap you can start with basic gear and get a little at a time and have fun create memories

Thank you! Yes, it's a dispersed camping area but you should stay in an existing spot or yellow post site.

Thank you Chris! Your GX is very capable (with good set A/T tires) that will take you on most trails in stock form. Start small and work on the build later. Just get out there start exploring.

Thanks so much! It was quite tricky installing the coffee table hinge but it was worth it as it gives me additional workspace.
What do you guys do for a living? I'm gonna be taking an EE job out in LA after graduation so hoping I make enough so that I can do this kind of thing haha
Many compromises in order to afford the 4runner.
This is actually really cool! Also I can't imagine how much work it is to get all those drive-by shots so much appreciation for those!

Thanks Terry! I got the awning from Amazon made by OVS. Great coverage and so easy to setup and teardown. Great price and well built. I love my Joolca double shower tent. Planning to get their Hottap Nomad kit for longer overlanding trips.
I live in the KRV and love watching other folks enjoying the place I get to call home. The drone footage was nicely done.

@@MP-OutdoorAdventures Mine too. I try to get up there during the big meteor shower Aug. 11-13. It's a great show. I'm lucky in that I can head up for the night and come home the next day which I do often.

Very nice! That looks like a great camping spot and you have some great gear! I am about to do my first 2021 4Runner camping adventure and it seems that we have a lot of similar/same gear, except for your storage. Good job!

I camped there a little over a month ago in my 4Runner. What an interesting place! It was my first time in my setup. I have since taken out the platform bed as I rather have the headroom available.
