Fan from NYC here. So Tom is abusive to Belle. She was terrified enough to run, but when she wants to return home to pick up a few things, she turns down Cain when he offers to accompany her there. That makes zero sense. I know this is a soap and we are often called upon to suspend belief every now and then, but this is absolutely ridiculous.

For people who didn’t watch tonight’s coronation street: Stu found Mason at the precinct covered in blood Stu then asked Mason what happened to him Mason then said he fell over it took a while to get the truth out of Mason and then he said his brothers beat him up Stu then asked did him parents care Mason said that they’re not around and he lives with his brothers who are abusive towards him Stu then offers Mason a free hot meal at the speed daal and to get him cleaned up and give him some clean clothes to wear Mason then calls Stu a perv and says no but Mason ends up going with him anyway Stu then cooks Mason a meal then Sean and Dylan show up Dylan then runs away and Sean has a go at Mason for showing his face around weatherfield and tells Stu that he pulled a knife on Liam and was bullying him making Liams life hell Stu then confronts Mason and kicks him out
