En de 1990 es co-fundador de LA SUBURBANA BLUES ( Moreno,Pcia. de Bs.As.)
con dicha formación empieza a tocar en el circuito profesional en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, y en el
conurbano Bonaerense hasta el 1996.
Integró CITY BLUES desde 1996 hasta 1998 y se consolidó como compositor y arreglador.
Luego participó en colaboraciones y proyectos de otros artistas hasta que en el año 2004 funda HAMPERS (banda de Southern-Rock) con la que trabajaría hasta la grabación de su album (inédito) en el año 2011 luego del cuál la banda se disolvería.
A principios de 2014 funda SWAMPERS (retomando sus composiciones de Southern-rock) como cantante-guitarrista. Paralelamente en ese mismo año funda DLuxe R&B banda en la cual se desenvuelve como autor-compositor-cantante y guitarrista hasta la fecha.

I got to see this line-up of the band several times in some really small venues. Manny's Car Wash in NYC comes to mind. He is just one of the best blues guitarists ever!
Yeah, this line up of The Broadcasters is my favorite!!
At his peak! No wonder Clapton (and Johnny Winter, and Stevie Ray, Etc...etc...Right down to Gary Clark) was so inspired by this man!

It always wigs me out that he played with his strap over his shoulder, but not his neck. I tried it once and accidentally threw my guitar into the pool.
The king of the blues. Got better and better and better and then died. Imagine if he had been alive in the late 80s for the blues resurgence when people like BB and John Lee, Albert Collins etc became popular again.
Hey, you're right!...Freddie will be more popular than he is in this time...we've got his music and lives on forever.
He did have something of a resurgence at the time of this recording. He was on the cover of a UK guitar magazine around this time so not entirely under the radar.
@@claymor8241 “on the cover of a uk guitar magazine” is hardly a resurgence. John Lee Hooker was playing large arenas as a main act and stadiums as a supporting act in the 80s.

I think he is hitting a high b note on vocals while playing sweet home chicago. I dont think people truly understand how amazing, effortless and gritty his vocals were! Holy Moly!!!

I saw Freddie years ago in NJ way out in the pine Barrens. He was fantastic. To this day my favorite is I'd Rather BE Blind written by Leon Russell & recorded with Leon, Freddie & Jim Gordon. They are all passed on. But ...today I am working on that very song to record for a u-tube download with The Clovis Creek Band. Thank you & God Bless you Freddie. He was truly "The Texas Cannonball".🌹🌠🎼

Incredible that this was recorded/played so late (1993, I think). Most of the great blues guitar records are from the 60's.
