Milwaukee Air and Water Show Take Offs and Landings
AWESOME! Great job
My kind of planes!
so sad
Loved seeing them in Ft. Smith too.
That’s starship and NC 41 I bought that aircraft after seeing it in Oshkosh and either 1996 or 97. It only had 110 hours on it. I flew till 1983. I had a guaranteed buyback from Raytheon for a Raytheon Premier jet that I never took delivery on because they had three incidents before my delivery time. The serial number of that jet was RB 68. When I canceled the order, I told Raytheon I wanted a different type of aircraft. So we negotiated on a King Air 350 and I requested that the starship be sent to a aviation museum. If I would’ve known they were going to put it in that museum. I probably would’ve been a little more forceful on what museum should have it. After seeing this beautiful airplane left rot outside, and it makes me sick. This was the first starship to go to the museum. It had an article and flying magazine. I think the article was called starships last flight.
AWESOME!
What the days of the Barnstormers must have been like.
FLUGTAG august 1988 never forget.
Awesome, as always. Thanks a ton from one aviation fan to another. !!!!
Historical note: Kenneth Arnold was flying a Callair A-2 in the state of Washington near Mount Rainier in June 1947, when he became the first person to repoet a UFO in the 20th century. The following month the incident at Roswell New Mexico was reported! Coincidentally it is 2024's addition to the "Sky's the Limit" Hallmark Christmass ornament series.
Good vantage point you had there.
An incredible air craft left to rot because it would have cost millions for compedators to keep up. Ever hear the story of Preston Tucker?
At 1:33, "the majority of them were taken apart and scrapped". Correction: They were not scrapped....they were DESTROYED!!!! First they were pulverized, then they were incinerated!!!!

I saw one of these for a double wasp radial engine in the hanger deck of the Lady Lexington in Corpus Christi... really cool, it give you a better concept of how they work.
Massive respect to Cash Barber for his service ... and you for presenting this to the public. Well done all ... Fly Navy! ^v^
What a beautiful Reliant.
I agree. I thought I read that this Reliant was recently sold to a buyer in Brazil. Hope not! Really enjoy seeing this and others around the Midwest. Thanks for your comment. Jamie
Super cool plane! Interesting history!
I actually went to that show which is huilarios and i saw the first flyover happen and didnt even notice you were recording
Thanks for the comment. I just send for my MAAC membership for 2024. Hope to have something to fly there with in the future. Thanks for supporting EA. Working on my book on Pioneer Aviators so I haven't posted in awhile. A couple museum visits in the next month so should have some new content soon. Jamie
Aircraft of today do not have the flair that these fine examples have. You see people abandoning these modern aircraft, while people lovingly restore and maintain these old birds. It seems like a life choice from the love of aviation.
I met him as a homecare nurse, he's an incredible human being!
Call in the Spads!
BEAUTIFUL AIRCRAFT!!!!!
How do you get such beautiful graphics for your intro? What's the name of that software?
I use Pinnacle 23, and some creative inspiration. The song Locked N Loaded helped me develop the graphics for the intro. Thanks for your comment. Merry Christmas Jamie
I was impressed by the OHC V8 180HP in 1928. The cams were twisted by beveled gear shafts. Although that big radial looks cool in it now.
The 'Hisso' actually came about in 1916/17 period; was in the spads ,se5, other similar types and yes was maybe the best of that era
As I’m watching these videos I started to realize that the turf and buildings look familiar. Aha, it’s Brodhead! What a special place!
The Bonds and the CAVALLINO Mustang are the BEST!
The owner of N514RS Bob Scherer SUED his 86-year-old MOTHER because she wanted to leave her small estate, which was 1/25th the size his, to her grandchildren because she had never set up a trust for their benefit, as was the case for spoiled son Bob, who enjoyed inheritance since the age of 21. He had her declared MENTALLY INCOMPETANT knowing she was too old and frail to fight him in Court. He pocketed the money that would have gone to his own daughter and 9 other grandchildren instead. WHAT A PRINCE
Thanks for the video! My Uncle worked at Waco late 30s early 40s before the war Long live round motors! Where was this video taken!?
I got to fly in a 1934 Waco bi-plane over the Florida keys from the little airport on key West. Absolutely amazing experience and all we had to do was pay for the fuel. If you've ever been to the Florida keys you've probably seen the plane flying around hauling banners. I don't know the man that owned the plane but i do know he flies witthe commemorative air force and he had a P51 and a few other planes including stunt planes. I was in the navy at the time and my buddies mom just happened to have grown up with that man. I honestly thought he was full of S#$T when he told me but he wasn't and we got to fly for about 30''ish minutes or so over the keys for 25$ a piece.
What a beautiful machine. Thanks for posting the interview (enlightening) and the air-to-air takes during your flight. Beautiful!
Gorgeous plane! That flying footage is something else.. Well done! Would love to see more in-flight footage from Everything Airplanes
Round engines and Grass runways; Does life get any better?!
Staggerwing D17S, Waco Taperwing, Bucker Jungmann and a Howard DGA15P. All this video's lacking is a Spartan Executive! The Aeronca Chief and the Piper Pacer were just thrown in for effect. Great video!
This would be my favorite aviation video of the week! Thank you sir!
Nice shot. I see B-1 B-2 SR-71 U-2 Cub on ceiling T-33 on ceiling B-58 F102 That's all I've got. lol
Really cool!
Woohoo! More space content! That trip out to KSC was too much fun, we will have to make another trip out soon. Or maybe even Starbase, TX.
That B-36 is wild looking.
What a delight!
12 mph stall speed … pretty darned good.
not sure bout this one hunnit but, im feeling like this is more of a “fly OUT” type of video situation as opposed to a fly in …
the final plane was epic, headlights and passengers
I agree. I took a ride in that airplane shortly after I shot the video. Stay tuned. I have some great air to air video from that flight. Thanks for your support. Jamie
Thanks for sharing this incredible wealth of technical aviation history. As citizens of Earth, we must pay tribute to all these lovers of aviation art.
I know the guy who restored this airplane but not sure where it ended up. I just posted this year's Grassroots fly in. Crazy amount of biplanes this year. I took video of a 1926 Waco 9 and the Poplar Grove Curtiss Jenny. Really something seeing two Curtiss OX engine powered airplanes.in the air. I will put more Lincoln Page content up. Have to look through my files. I have to put up another Grassroots video from Saturday next. Thanks for the comments. Truly appreciate your support. I will see about getting more info on where the Lincoln Page ended up. I'll post what I find. Thanks again. Jamie
