They would only do warranty returns, which this was covered. I wanted them to do more than just a warranty coverage because this was my 3rd one in a row. We returned it to the store as each one was within 1-3 days of purchasing.

Glad it helped. I feel so bad for the kids who open it on Christmas morning and experience this. I reached out to the manufacturer to test the units they have in stock and to send me one that didn't crack but the only response I got was they were to busy. They better hire a whole crew of people come post christmas because they are about to be swarmed with returns. Both pro hockey life stores I went into had the same issue with theirs. Again, stressing we are owners of the original for two years and even used it at his birthday parties for a game. Absolutely zero issues in two years. Not to mention as of writing the a video they either fail to or intentionally avoid talking about the subscription needed to use a lot of the new features.

I wouldn't. Not for the gigantic price increase. I went from a 144hz and it's only slightly noticable. Enough to give me a small edge but I feel that wouldn't even make a difference going from 240hz.

@@Underc0vernerd with 360fps you will see more a difference, 200fps is not enough for the full advantage of the monitor.

I agree 100% and can’t wait to get my hands on a 3080. I called around and they will be lucky to fill their pre-orders by March. Although in some games I get pretty darn close to that 360fps mark and I can honestly say I can’t notice a difference between my buddies 240hz and mine while in the chaos of a game. I can however notice how smooth my mouse moves across my desktop. Lol. All in all if you have the money it will be an improvement but I personally wouldn’t go out and spend it to upgrade from a 240hz.

@@Underc0vernerd you wont see much difference going up in fps. but when you go back down to 144 you will think you are playing on a potato😂 once you hit around 180 fps its the input delay that you have to get used to

@@uygy15 you just proved my statement above. Anyone who can afford a 3080 has already shopped around and knows they are sold out everywhere. Good try tho. You should probably just quit the internet and take up knitting.
